5 out of 5 stars Scar Removal

Reconstructive Surgery for Scar Tissue - Baltimore, MD

Dr. Vander Kolk has performed 2 surgeries to remove infected scar tissue from both of my axillas due to a rare condition known as hidradinitis. He has done an exceptional job! I am about to have another surgery performed by him for a panniculectomy in 2 weeks. He & his staff are very professional and knowledgeable. I will continue to be a patient as long as he is needed.

27years Old with a 3 Year Old

Insurance just approved my reduction I'm over joyed to finally get rid of this back pain once and for all. I'm also a little draw back by some of these reviews but I have to be optimistic about this and just hope for the best because I'm sure it will be worth it when it's all said and done. My boobs just sprouted once I graduated high school. One week before my Br and I can't stop reading...

Dr. Vander Kolk was outstanding in all areas. He explained the procedures, answered all my questions, and followed up on my procedures. His work is excellent and I would only go to him for any cosmetic or plastic surgery procedures.

After a 195 Pound Weight Loss I Desperatly Needed a Brachioplasty, Neck Lift, and Lower Face Lift - Baltimore, MD

I met Dr. Vander Kolk for the first time at my free consultation and from the second I met him I felt I was in good hands. He discussed in depth what I could expect with the surgery and what results I may have. He was very courteous and respectful and honest about what I may expect. I was very impressed with his knowledge concerning Weight loss surgery and the affects of recovery while suffering with Fibromyalgia. On the day of surgery Dr. Vander Kolk's bedside manner and confidence helped to quell any doubts I was having. He was obviously very respected by the OR staff which also helped me to feel confidant about my decision. On leaving my out patient surgery it was very comforting to know that Dr. Vander Kolk would be checking on me the next day, which was Saturday, by coming to my home. That is one of most impressionable things that have stayed with me. A house call from a surgeon, to check on his patient and to change dressings! During my recovery I have felt assured that any question or problem I would have, the answer or care was just a phone call away. My recovery has been picture perfect and each day I am thankful for the quality of care that I received under Dr. Vander Kolk's watchful eye.

I'm So Happy I Did It! - Baltimore, MD

I'm 5 days post op and I have had no complications. I believe the biggest factor in this decision is choosing your surgeon. During the procedure I was a bit loopy and I wanted to relax and sleep. What I felt wasn't pain exactly, but more like hard tickling. I felt a poke once on my hip bone but not a stick, just a poke. I was so worried about pain, and it was fine. Post op, no bruising except...
