I'm a 34 year old mother of 3 boys! I'm 5'3" and weigh 112lbs. I gained 30-60lbs with each pregnancy and exclusively breastfed them for 2 years. Needless to say I've done my civic duty as a mom and now it's time for me to take my body back!! LOL.
I've scheduled my mommy makeover with Dr. Anthony J Stevens on June 1st. Super excited but definitely nervous because my youngest is only 2 years old. I'm also a pediatric nurse and will only be taking off 2 weeks per my doctors suggestion. I'll upload some before pics as I near closer to my actual appt.

I’ve really been stressing a lot lately about whether or not I’d be able to have my surgery on June 1st with the quarantine orders. But it’s looking like elective surgeries will begin happening again around early to mid May! super excited!
I bought some supplies that I’ll need post-op. Now it seems so much more real!
My pre-op appt is scheduled for May 19th. Not sure on what size implants yet but my doctor uses Natrelle gummy implants. He mentioned he would prefer do a smaller implant due to the fact that I have very little breast tissue, which I’m totally okay with. His honesty is why he’s my surgeon :)
I’ll keep everyone posted as the day approaches.
How’s everyone holding up in quarantine land?

I'm scheduled June 1st for my mommy makeover and I'm so nervous/excited!! My pre-op appt is tomorrow and I'll finally be able to decide on a my implant size. I'm finally uploading a few "before" pictures.. I'm 5'3 and weigh around 112-115lbs. My current breast size is a very deflated 34 B. I'd like a full C when it's all said and done. I'll update after my pre-op appt.

Eeeeek! One week left! I'm so nervous yet super excited. I had my pre-op visit last week and got my post op instructions and scripts. I still have no idea what size implants I'm getting. Dr. Stephens asked that I bring wish photos in the day of surgery and he'll go from there. I'm comfortable with this because I've seen his work first hand and he's a master at his craft, for sure.
I can't wait to fill out this sports bra... I'm over the loose skin.

Excuse how rough I look in the picture... but I did it. Yesterday I had a TT, breast lift with implants. Ended up going with Natrelle silicone gummy high profile 295cc each breast. My surgeon was hesitant to go any bigger because I’m very tiny and have very little breast tissue with a lot of loose skin from nursing three boys. And I was totally okay with that.
I can’t wait to see everything tomorrow when I can shower. I’ll post before and afters then.

I got to shower today at the 48 hour mark and I’m super excited so far with my results. I’ve got 295 cc high profile Natrelle silicone Gummy implants. Anything bigger my surgeon said didn’t look right for my frame. I’m super happy with what he’s done.
As far as coming out of surgery- the anesthesia left me with that shakes so bad and then I was nauseated but never threw up thankfully. That was probably the worst of my recovery so far. Now I’m dealing with a bit of gas pains so I’m continuing my senna, milk of Mag, and gas-X.
Also, one thing I recommend to have stocked are some boost drinks for when you’re taking pain meds around the clock. It helps coat the stomach with something so you don’t get nauseated. It’s work wonders for me.
Look forward to sharing more of this process with everyone!

I’m off my pain meds and am now taking ibuprofen and my muscle relaxers. Most of my pain is to my lower back due to being hunched over. Otherwise I’m not in too much pain. I’m ready to take off and start doing things around the house, but my body isn’t ready. Yesterday after my shower I almost passed out because my body is still in recovery mode. So it’s important to take it slow.
I’m so thankful to my hubby for taking immaculate care of me! I couldn’t do this without him.

Our two year old is back home with us now and it's so hard not being able to love on him or take care of him. My poor husband is doing it all... he's the real MVP.
I'm still waiting on my first BM. Taking senna and milk of mag daily. Probably going to end up having to do glycerin suppositories soon. What fun.... lol.
Pain wise I feel great. My lower back aches ALOT when I get up from the strain of bending over, but I'm definitely feeling better. I even made my own cup of coffee this morning! Took me twice as long but hey, it's a victory!
Still only taking ibuprofen.

My 1 week post op appt was yesterday. Everything is looking great so far. Thankfully I got my drain pulled. My Surgeon said I no longer need to bandage my incisions and he also gave me the okay to start wearing Spanx or my Faja instead of the binder.
I’ll get some pics to post later.

Today makes 2 weeks since I had my Mommy makeover! Things have been getting better and better each day. I’ve been able to resume some normalcy around the house which has been nice. I go see my surgeon tomorrow for my two week follow up and to clear me for work Wednesday! I’m feeling ready.
My breast have changed so much since just Friday alone. The picture I attached is me from Friday vs today! The drop and fluff progress is fun to watch. No pain just a little sore when I move certain ways
My TT incision continued to look better and better. I’m dealing with some swelling which is normal for up to 3 months. I’m wearing my binder 24/7. It’s definitely a challenge with how hot it is outside right now but it’s got to be done. No pain just a little tender where my incision is, but to be expected.
Overall I’m thrilled with my results. Dr. Stephens is a master of his craft!

My TT & breast scars are lightening up so much and the scabs are falling off. Everything is looking so good. I returned to work last Wednesday at 2 weeks 2 days PO. I was fine on Wednesday but Thursday I was hurting... a lot. Probably a week too soon to return to work if you’re a floor nurse lol. Saturday was a much better work day.
My next appt is my 1 month check up next Tuesday.

I went ahead and ordered a few VS bra’s while their semi-annual sale was going on. Based off my measurements I ordered a 32 D and they fit perfectly! Going from a deflated 34 B I’m extremely satisfied with my results.

It’s been a month since surgery and my results just keep getting better and better. I only have a tiny scab left on my TT incision, otherwise it’s closed. Still dealing with a lot of abdominal swelling which is to be expected for a few months to a year. I finally slept on my side for the first time last night. My stomach felt fine but my boobs did feel really sore this morning.
My breasts have been more sore this last week than ever before. I was starting to worry but I think it’s just part of the drop & fluff as well as I’m back at work and I do a lot with my arms. Having a tight fitting sports bra is key!
Im going for my 4 week appt tomorrow. I’ll update after.

Had my 1 month PO visit today and took my “after” pics. So crazy to see my before and after pictures side by side. I look like a different person. My surgeon is pleased and said in 2 weeks, at 6 weeks, I can resume bathing, swimming, light workouts, picking up my toddler, etc.
I added a pic from today. My surgeon made my bellybutton. It’s so much better than what I had and it’ll get better as swelling decrease.

So happy with my results!

Today has been 8 weeks since my mommy makeover. I’m loving my results so much!! My breast incisions are barely visible. One thing I’ve noticed as my breasts heal is that my right breast is much rounder than my left, but I have to remember they’re not twins and weren’t perfect before.
My TT incision is starting to flatten out more and gets better each week. Still bloating some but I haven’t worn a compression garment since week 5. My incision was getting really raw and irritated from any and all compression so my Surgeon said to just take a break... I did and never went back lol.
If you’re on the fence of having this surgery, it’s the best money you’ll ever spend!!! And I can’t say enough great things about my surgeon.
