Typically, permanent sutures used for  diastasis repair remain in place and are not ‘rejected’. Over time, the fibrosis will maintain the repair. If absorbable sutures break down prior to the formation of adequate fibrosis to occur, it is possible that the repair might not hold. Both techniques are used and are based on the preference of the surgeon. 

Thanks for your inquiry. Fat grafting can be performed post augmentation. Care will need to be taken if the soft tissue coverage over the devices is very thin. Please seek consultation from a well qualified board certified Plastic Surgeon. 

Thank you for your question. Most plastic surgeons are familiar with performing abdominoplasty on patients possessing a lap band port and would not need the bariatric surgeon present. If the port needs to be exchanged, the bariatric Surgeon would be needed to exchange the port. I would suggest that you ask your bariatric Surgeon as to whether or not they are able to exchange the port. If they think they can and should exchange it, they can coordinate with your Plastic Surgeon in moving forward. Best of luck in your journey!

CoolSculpting is most effective for those who are near their goal weight and have areas that are hard to exercise or stubborn to lose such as bra fat or love handles. Hello and thank you for the question! 15cc is not a significant difference in implant size. More important is the profile of the implant (high, moderate or low) on your body type. In our practice, we utilize Vectra imaging for a 3D view of the implant on each patient. It is always best to review your board certified plastic surgeon's before and after photos and ask questions during your consultation to feel confident in your decisions. Thank you for the question. It appears that you would be a great candidate for the under eye filler. Without an in person consultation, it is difficult to assess exactly how many syringes will be required. A less cross linked choice, like Volbella, attracts less water to the area and leaves one less likely to appear puffy. There are 1cc and 0.5cc syringes available (~$650/$350 per syringe). It should last a year (and often longer in that area!). Please seek consultation by an experienced Plastic Surgeon as there are risks with this procedure and is considered an “off label” use of the filler.
