Experienced doctor with a great optimistic go well attitude..place is well organised equipped with all facilities for the surgery Experience I was informed one prior about surgery and per care to be taken I reached clinic on time. With help of all staff members and doctor we started on time and operated well with all facilities Post surgery I was taking rest on my room and was on medication along with glucose coconut water I was admitted for 1 day and next day morning was released with post care information and kits

I ended up on choosing the Centre for Cosmetic Reconstructive Surgery (CCRS )in India with Dr Sameer Karkhanis after a lot of research. I had wanted this procedure for many years and I researched many Cosmetic Surgeons and read many reviews on RealSelf . I needed to plan for 1 year so I could save for my procedure. Living in Australia I knew it was too expensive to have done here so overseas was my only option . Most people were going to Thailand for treatments but what stood out for me was a few reviews I read about a clinic in India where the Dr Sameer Karkhanis had a very good reputation. I researched him a lot and spoke with Sharda who works for him and I sent through photos to be evaluated by Dr Semeer . I received back a detailed quote and also options and prices if I chose to stay in the clinic . As I was travelling alone I decided to stay at the clinic and be monitored daily and then I didn’t have to sort out my own accommodation and transfers either which was a huge bonus I booked in for my surgery and when I arrived in Mumbai I was met at the airport and taken to the clinic in India where I was settled into my room around 11pm in the evening the next morning a staff member took me to the local shopping mall to fill in my day and the following day another staff member took me out for all my pre surgery pathology tests etc . I never felt uncomfortable being there on my own as they made me feel so relaxed and taken care of every step of the way . One big reason I chose this Dr was on top of the tummy tuck he does vaser Lipo on you as well included in the price so he can body shape your waist , flanks , thighs etc so when you are finished you feel like you have had a body sculpture and you feel amazing . There is bruising from the vaser and swelling and a compression garment needs to be worn for at least 6-8 weeks after . There is discomfort and pain the first few days and it’s hard to sleep but it does get better with time . I am only 15 days post opp but couldn’t be more happy with my new shape already . The only thing that I would like to point out is Just be prepared that the clinic is not in a flash area and it is a basic clinic and a basic room to recover in . There is nothing flash about the clinic at all which may shock some people but it is clean and I suppose that is how they keep the costs down . If you are expecting a five star hospital this is not for you but if you are looking for a top quality surgeon and very reasonable prices I would recommend this clinic for you as you are in very good hands snd you will be taken care of from when you arrive in India until when you leave . It is a small clinic with about 5 to 6 private rooms and a small staff that you get to know very well over the 10-14 days stay .i am happy I went and am very happy so far with my results and I have tried to be transparent as possible so if you decide to use this Clinic you will know what to expect . Thanks to all the staff in the clinic for looking after me snd making my journey stress free . I am still swollen and bruised But I was happy with the results not even 2 weeks post surgery Updated on 16 Feb 2020: Hi thought I would give any update as I am now 7 months post op . I recovered very well and thought I would update some photos . I am very pleased with my new shape as it is improving every day. Best thing I ever did .

I had the most amazing experience with Dr. Sameer Karkhanis. I wanted to undergo breast reduction surgery as I had major confident issue, also size of my breasts was way more disproportionate. I couldn't wear desired clothes and searching for bras in India was another task. I researched a lot about the procedure and surgeons and came across Dr. Sameer's profile and reviews on Realself and fortunately his hospital, CSSR (Centre for Cosmetic & Recontructive Surgery) was 5 minutes drive from my home. Me and my mother went to meet him and get his guidance on this. I was already convinced my mother won't let me undergo this surgery but he explained so nicely and gave in detailed information about how he'll go on with the procedure, risks involved with this. One thing i liked was he was realistic about the goals and really positive. My Mother was convinced and I was shocked that she was. haha. So we blocked about 1 month after the meeting for surgery. On the day of surgery, he took measurements and did markups and the nurse took me to the OT. I was hell scared. Dr. Sameer was so kind that he asked me what music i would prefer and played it in there to calm me down, funny thing was he played some song and i was so scared that i started singing some other song. If the team heard it, I gave them a good show. haha. The anaesthesia started to kick in and I really don't remember when I went out. I woke up after the surgery. My breasts felt very very sore, with no pain AT ALL. I seriously didn't believe reviews where women said this surgery was painless, but yes.. girls.. ZERO PAIN. They gave me discharge on the next day. I had to sleep lying straight for about 15-20 days and was advised not to lift hands up for about 4 weeks. You have to take precautions while moving around. Initially i needed help to sit up, bathe. Couldn't wash hair so went straight to hair salon for a month. The process is really not that difficult if you have family and friends to help around. I went from 36F to 36D. During these days, I had so many doubts about the medicines, the look of my breasts which the doctor and Sharada from his clinic gladly helped me with. They were so patient with me as every other day, i had new questions. I finally started working out 2 months post op and cannot be happier that i can now work out so easily. (heavy breast limited me a big time). My confidence knows no bound and my body looks proportionate. I cannot stop thanking Dr Sameer and his team for the guidance during and after surgery, and genuinely taking care of me while i was in the hospital and after the surgery as well. Today Dr. Sameer sent me flowers and a hand written note wishing me the best. I was so happy and found this gesture really sweet. He and his team messages every 10 days to ask about how the recovery is and how i am feeling. They really care about their patients. Women who are in doubts about getting this surgery or any other cosmetic procedure done, I 100% recommend Dr Sameer. You wouldn't ever regret.

After reading many reviews, visiting the website for the Centre for Cosmetic & Reconstructive Surgery and talking to the staff there, I decided to make the trip to India on 10 Nov 2013. Upon my arrival at the clinic on 12 Nov 2013, I was warmly greeted by the staff and stayed in my room to rest for the night before surgery. It is exceptional of them to host my traveling partner who was able to stay overnight with me. In the morning, I was woken up at around 730am and proceeding with meeting with Dr. Karkhanis to discuss my problem areas once again, then he marked the areas for contouring and took pre-op pictures. He explained everything very clearly and his attitude is most caring, sometimes this is lost in doctor/patient relationships. After the pre-op procedures I was taken to another room where the team was waiting for me. My anesthesiologist ensured that I was well prepared for the contouring process. I did not expect to stay awake and much to my pleasure, I was asleep for the process. When I woke up, I was already in my initial compression garment and had some soreness, mostly in my abdomen where the contouring was more aggressive due to large pockets of fat in that particular area. Know my previous body shape, I could see results immediately! Dr. Karkhanis skillfully excised 5 liters of fat from my body, specifically in the abdomen, flanks, chest and thigh area. I stayed at the clinic for an additional 2 days just to ensure I had no complications post-op. Each day, I was taken care of greatly by the charming staff and they were extremely receptive to my requests for juice, tea and biscuits each day. I left on 15 Nov 2013 with my drains in place to assist with normal discharge of fluids. It is now 18 Nov 2013, 6 days post surgery and I had my 1st post-op review with Dr. Karkhanis. Everything is going very well and I am happy to report that bruising is minimal. He removed my drains today which I was more than happy about! I don't have pictures from the pre-op visit but I will post some I took prior to my trip to India. I cannot give more than 5 stars but if I could, I would. I highly recommend Dr. Karkhanis and his team at the Centre for Cosmetic & Reconstructive Surgery (CCRS). Note- It is in your favor to pay for your surgery with cash if possible. There is a 12% charge for using credit cards (which I knew and was okay with) since I don't travel with large amounts of cash on hand. Payment was worked out easily.

I had undergone a terrible Vaser Liposuction surgery 2 years back. It was like a nightmare come alive. I was left with uneven lumps and creases post surgery. I thought I would never recover from the disastrous results, until I met my new plastic surgeon Dr. Sameer Karkhanis a year later. His vast reservoir of knowledge and experience in his field, helped me decide skillfully what needed to be corrected n what needed to be left alone. He is trustworthy, and his approachable personality and warm disposition made feel at ease from our first meeting itself. He performed Vaser Liposuction on my arms, abs, flanks, back, thighs, and corrected the unflattering crease under my buttocks that made them sag. There is a definite Con in removing too much fat under the buttocks area.And that is exactly what happened to me. My previous doctor had removed a massive amount of fat under my buttocks,thereby making my buttocks sag. It left me with the most unflattering crease under that area. My new doctor,Dr. Sameer Karkhanis, not only performed Vaser liposuction on the areas that needed to have the fat removed,but also inserted some of the fat under my buttocks crease ,so that I could have perfect buttocks again. Corrective surgery is by far the most difficult and delicate surgery to perform. And I was lucky to have found a skilled doctor who was not afraid to correct what another doctor messed up so badly. He is an artist when it comes to contouring the body,and is an expert in Corrective Surgery. I felt like I had finally found a doctor who understands exactly what I wanted. He was not only willing to give me that,but also skillfully Removed all my creases , lumps, and unevenness around my tummy and buttocks area. I am extremely happy with the fabulous results attained. It was done at the Centre for Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery in Thane Mumbai. Thanks to his genius work, I walk around today with washboard abs, belly piercing, and a belly chain (since he got Rid of my belly:).My thighs look simply amazing and my buttocks do not sag anymore. What we need is an understanding doctor who can ascertain what you have in mind, and then give his own personal expert opinion about the same. Hence giving your vision an accurate and pretty picture at the end. I was very lucky to have him as my plastic surgeon,and I cant help but share my joy and recommend him to anyone who is interested in Vaser Liposuction,Corrective Surgery and looking absolutely fabulous, to go to him ASAP:) Yes, there will be expected swelling,bruising and pain, but it is all so Worth it at the end when you look at yourself in the mirror and SMILE:)

I almost killed myself with fad diets and exercises , even tried food supplements and various medicines to kill my appetite , but to no benefit. Finally i opted for Vaser lipo, and i got myself operated with a full body vaser lipo and a tummy tuck . I did a thorough research on vaser lipo and tt by visiting various doctors and centres across mumbai until i finally ended my search at CCRS , it is an exclusive cosmetic surgery centre headed by qualified surgeons and a team of doctors and nurses. i got operated on the 4th June and by the end of 3 weeks my tummy had vanished , i lost almost 10 inches from my thighs , butts, and arms . i was on compression garments for almost 5 weeks and i was so comfortable wearing them as a second skin. The vaser does leave bruises and pain which vanishes within 2 weeks , but the results are permanent . i dont diet neither do i exercise now and i still loose weight :)

Hi all, i got a tummy tuck done on the 4th june 2011, after researching again and again thru net , articles and visiting various doctors, my search eneded at CCRS, the centre for cosmetics and reconstructive surgery , in thane mumbai headed by Dr Sameer karkhanis. This is the only centre totally dedicated to cosmetics surgery in the entire country (India ) and will super speciality facilities . I underwent a complete body vaser and a TT . post 5 days of my operation it was hard to believe that its still me. my sagging post delivery tummy had vanished like magic, i had no pain , no discomfort and was totally mobile . Yes the vaser bruises and pain continued till about 2 weeks but was simple with the compression garments along with pain killers . post 5 weeks of my operation , i almost did away with my sagging tummy , thunder thighs , gigantic arms , and an ugly back . Results are magical and they are long to stay . Very affordable , trusted and highly efficient clinic with best surgeons and a friendly supportive staff is a surprise. I hardly diet and exercise now , and i am still loose inches . I lost almost 8 inches in total around my waist , 7 inches total around my thighs and butts , 5 inches in total from my arms and now my body says "WOW" check my pre and post pics for a complete look. Updated on 13 Sep 2011: I always thought that i cud do with just a good lipo , but after my consultation with Dr Sameer , he explained me that my internal ab muscles have become loose after my two deliveries , if i only opt for lipo, it will not correct the sagging of the muscles, thus i need a TT for sure . I was so convinced when explained medically , that it didnt even take me a day to get operated. Now my tummy is as tight as a 16 yr old and i already have 4 abs showing off without 100 cruches , the stitches are so well done , that they are completely covered within the bikini line . The entire procedure of TT looked really painful in the beginning, but Post op when i looked myself in the mirror after 2 days , i cudnt believe it. The pain was nowhere to be felt and the tummy had an awesome feel :) .
