I consulted with5 facial plastic surgeons in Chicago regarding my eye surgery. Dr. Tresley made the best impression on me. He is very knowledgeable and detailed oriented. The procedure was completely painless. To my surprise local anesthesia is completely safe and provides perfect amount of relaxation and pain relief. Additionally, Dr. Tresley has a very pleasant bed side manners. His staff is equally friendly and helpful.

My ptosis surgery was simple and effective. The doctor and staff prepared me for the procedure and my recovery was exactly as they described. You can tell that this is what they specialize in, and they are very good at what they do.

Dr. Tresley performed eyelid surgery on me two months ago, and the results are unbelievable. I look ten years younger! My wife and I highly recommend Dr. Tresley and his team for all of their services. She’s a regular for facial injections, and we both use his skincare products. GREAT quality & service!

I’ve been visiting Dr. Tresley for 3 years for my Botox and Juvederm injections. He was referred to me by a friend when I was considering (and nervous) about entering the next phase of my life. I met with other doctors, but it was his level of expertise, the time he spent with me, and the professionalism of the staff that ultimately made me select Dr. Tresley. From injections to skin care products, his entire team brings solutions for you to look your best.

Just couldn't stand looking tired all the time but have been terrified of getting filler under my eyes because I've seen some horror stories online. I was lucky enough to find a doctor that specializes in eyes and is one of very few injectors that does tear trough injections. He was very nice, professional and gentle. He was nice enough to squeeze me in for the procedure during a busy time and was very courteous. I had to wait for a while but I didn't mind considering he was doing me a favor by seeing me during a crazy booked time with short notice. The actual procedure was fairly quick (maybe 20 minutes), a little painful, stingy and some spots were really nervy but it wasn't too bad, maybe a 4 out of 10 on the pain scale. I had gotten perlane once before with a different doctor in my nasolabial folds and it was painful and the doctor actually poked through my cheek into my mouth and causes enormous swelling, it looked really good but it took about 2 weeks for the swelling to go down. I looked like a weirdo for about 2 weeks and bruised a lot, so I was nervous about getting it again. But I was pleasantly relieved with Dr. Tresley and his work, it was subtle enough to not look like I got work but also enough to make a difference. I feel like myself again and can't wait until the bruising is gone. Thank you doctor!

There are so many things wrong. His office gives you the impression all they care about it money. He botched my eyelid surgery and i had to go through all that twice. Then he convinced me to do a brow lift at the same time. My eyes are now different shapes. The second time he was so rushed the lids are asymmetrical. And one brow is lower than the other. He said he would cut on top of the old scar to reduce the look of scars. Well, he didn't and was careless. So I have two thick long scars tilting down, which make my eyes look like they are wrinkling down and older. I so regret having chosen him.

Please read this before considering Dr. Tresley. My experience with him has been absolutely traumatizing and my life has not been the same for the last 6 months. Here is a little breakdown of how it went. On 9/3/19, I had surgery for an orbital bone fracture. Dr. Tresley was referred by my ophthalmologist (which I will tell him not to refer him anymore). On, 9/6/19 I ended up in emergency room in extreme pain and I couldn’t open my eye. It was scary and I scheduled to see Dr. Tresley for the first “post-op" visit on 9/9/19. To my surprise, he sees me and tells me all is good, that I look great, there is no issue. He gave me some ointment and told me to keep lubing my eye. He scheduled another visit on 10/2/19, when the pain and swelling indeed never went away. He keeps having me comeback, with NO answers and NO knowledge of what’s going on, just an "I dont know, this is wild why your eye doing this”. He just proceeds to tell me to just continue ointment. At this point I trusted him, although my eye continues to swell and close up. Between November and February, I saw him 3 more times due to this on going issue as a result of his surgery. When I saw Dr. Tresley in early January, he said I looked good at that point, my eye hasn't flared up in 30 days. However, that same month I wake up with such pain AGAIN and a swollen eye. I was ready to go to the ER, however I was out of town and I sent him picture instead. He wanted to see me right away, so a few days later I come in. He’s baffled and confused. After all this suffering, FINALLY he recommends a specialist. This specialist was able to determine in just ONE appointment that I have a “reoccurring erosion” and gave me proper care instructions, in addition to an eyelid solution that has helped tremendously. He figured out and fixed what Dr. Tresley could not in 6 months!!! Here’s the kicker. When I called Dr. Tresley’s billing team to discuss my bill, they mentioned I owed $120 for some visits. When I questioned this, I was told verbatim “Unfortunately the doctor needs to bill out visits after 90 days post-op period. Therefore your balance will remain the same”. I spoke to Ellene, a very rude and condescending lady, who tells me these were not visits for my surgery but rather a whole OTHER issue separate from my surgery. I was dumbfounded. They managed to not only double bill me, but send me bills for these post-op visits after his work on my eye. I would not have needed any of these visits if he had sent me to a specialist the first time, or had any idea what was going on. I also told her I was in a tight spot with money due to the Coronavirus and she literally told me that it’s not their responsibility to tell me how I am being billed. In this difficult and uncertain time in human history, Dr. Tresley is a savage of a human. I hope my $120 goes a long way for him, he clearly really needs it. Sadly, my eye still doesn’t look like it did before surgery, to which Dr. Tresley says he could try to fix. NO CHANCE will I ever let him touch my eye ever again. Please save yourself the headache and terrible experience and find a different doctor.

Stay away if you are a young patient and care about how your eyelids look! I will send pictures if anyone needs me to because it's that bad. I just hope I can find someone to fix what he did to my eyelid...

Maybe eye surgery is his specialty - but do not be swayed or fooled by his ability to perform injections and use the right ones. He ruined many parts of m face with horrible injections and then was so arrogant about m extreme dissatisfaction - and I spent a fortune elsewhere to fix his work. Caution.
