He performed Advanced Surface Ablation (ASA) on me last year. Both he and his office were very helpful and explained everything and made me feel at ease with the procedure and even had me laughing at myself about being so vain about not wearing eye makeup for two weeks (in my defense- it was the 2 weeks prior to Christmas, so it was tough)and did a great job at doing what I wanted done to avoid having to read with bifocals, as some doctors do. He did one eye for up close and one eye for far. He was very likable and knows his "stuff".

Like I said , Dr.Ritacca is a genius., yet very humble. The team work and professionalism in his office is balanced by a staff of kindhearted , caring people .Dr.Ritacca , Nolan and Oceana , thank you for taking such good care of me .

Dawn and Sarah are beyond a five star rating. They find the perfect balance between personal and professional relationships with clients. Of greatest importance is the continuing growth and education which both pursue. I feel that ,as practitioners, they are always ahead of the curve . And there is that intangible that comes with the best ; an artistry and instinct in administering each procedure. I drive through three states every three months to continue my "maintenance" and that in itself reflects my trust and satisfaction with Ritacca Med Spa.

Thought it was great. Initially looked promising. Now, hyperpigmentation, yes, which can happen, but also delays future treatments. And not much lighter. For having 6 Q laser sessions then this pico, I expected more. Disappointed. The battle continues. Not going back. Plus I had to travel from MN to IL. Lesson learned. Pico, apparently, isnt all that.

Very nice office with friendly staff. I loved the marble angel with fairy in air sculpture in their entry area. I'm really spiritual so it made me feel like I was in the right place. I met with one of his consultant nurses (she looked like she could have been Cindy Crawford's sister), she took pictures of me and discussed my concerns and wishes. She talked to me about her professional opinion and suggested which product or procedure would help me get the results I desired. Dr. Ritacca came in to view my face and decided what he thought would work best. Once I agreed they escorted me to the procedure room and cleaned the areas for anesthetic and filler injections. I was nervous but desperate so I was game no matter if it hurt. It did not. When the doctor started filling, it felt a little bit strange but very tolerable and certainly not painful at all. After, the areas felt a tad warm and slightly tender but nothing unexpected or alarming. I had consulted another doctor for filler and noticed his front desk receptionist with very red blotchy cheeks. He did not use a blunt micro cannula and I could tell that her cheeks, which were also filled with Voluma, looked like they were going to bruise. She just looked like there was quite a bit of trauma with the blood vessels. After seeing that I knew I wanted the filler injected with a blunt micro cannula and boy am I glad I did. It was a five star experience all around. M.B.
