I had a smas lift in 2010 for sagging skin and jowls. The surgeon at that time did beautiful work, no scars. After six years gravity , once again, created the same problem. I did not want to go through the pain of another smas lift.I researched and found a genius that performed thermi tight. Very happy with the painless procedure . The numbing shots were not as painful as at a dentist office, they are injected in the soft tissue.

Dear Goodtimes,

I have wondered if Thermi Tight was as effective if/wen it was going through prior scar tissue. One PS tole me it made no difference, but I have still been a little skeptical...Your thoughts/experience?

Healing

Day three and if the itching was not so intense , I would not know I had surgery.I don't want to ruin my results and not wear the headband.I am swollen still, and not sore unless I touch the area.

I would love to hear more about your results after a month or two. I am considering this procedure but haven't read many real life accounts about how effective it is. Thx!

I will do that, thank you for your interest.

I also am considering this procedure for slightly sagging jowls and neck banding. I'd love to hear more about recovery time and exactly what areas were treated on you. Also if you had any additional treatments at the same time like fillers, and, if so, what other treatments or what fillers. Thanks so much!

At the time of this procedure my doctor decided to remove a small amount of fat from each jowl and under my chin with lipo. That is probably why I had four small holes instead of three.I am happy with that, as I don't have fabulous bone structure (my jaw naturally recedes),and everything stayed hidden. One slight puncture under each ear and one closer to the jowl, can't see any of them now. When I had my SMAS,my doctor did not do an incision under my chin,he said I did not need it.I like the decision both made.I had fillers after my SMAS,at a local med spa that closed down. When they did my fillers (marionette and nasal folds),the swelling and bruising was ridiculous and procedure very painful. In 2012 I found Ritacca Medspa. Dawn put filler in areas of my face that needed it. I still have not had to put anymore ,anywhere ,in my face since ,other than the tear trough. That was two months ago when they had a special on it.Other than that,I have had two ultherapy treatments from Sarah ,it did not melt any fat or filler on my face.It tightened my neck and gave my skin a really nice texture. Gravity and time marches on,it was time to be more aggressive,I don't want surgery again.I am a person that does not tolerate pain well.Even if it is a 1-3,the constant feel of being uncomfortable ,makes me miserable. My doctor was understanding and graciously wrote me a prescription for low dose hydrocodone after my thermi tight. My desire is not so much to look as young as I can, just to look as best I can,for my age,and tolerance. I reread your question,When Dawn did my fillers she used a cannula,no bruising no monster features from swelling or pain other than a few numbing shots. She used a combination of fillers for cheeks, marionette, nasal folds, temples, her discretion.I am fairly certain, juvederm and juvederm plus. All, are wonderful procedures that in the hands of a skilled nurse or physician, can really make a difference in everyday life.I am sure you will make the best decision for you BarbH,and you are very welcome.

Thanks so much for your thorough reply! So I guess your whole look is basically due to the thermitight, ultherapy, and fillers. That's important to me, is when I see pictures, is having an understanding of all procedures that went into achieving your look. Your neck and chin look great, you should be really pleased! I have limited funds and for me i need to carefully decide which are the best procedures that will help my issues, that will have the longest lasting results. Thank you again!

You are welcome. I just replace what I lose through the aging process . These procedures have never been performed the same year , and have taken place over a twenty year time span. My first filler was in my forties. Sometimes less is more. Now, at 60, I share that same concern. Thank you for your compliment. This is the first major procedure I have had since my SMAS lift in 2010.I don't know how old you are but I wish you well ,nothing lasts for years and years. They do have a payment plan at my Medspa to help with such issues. I hope to hear from you again, and wish the very best.
