I was so nervous going into surgery that I couldn’t even sleep the night before. The moment I arrived, Olga (my surgery nurse) immediately put me at ease—she made me feel comfortable, calm, and cared for. Kayla was incredibly sweet and patient, answering all of my many pre-op questions with kindness. During the awake lipo procedure—definitely not the easiest experience—Olga and Chelsea were by my side the whole time. They were attentive to my pain, reassuring, and made sure I never felt alone or overwhelmed. Olga even went out of her way to offer support any time I had questions, and she brought such a fun, uplifting energy to our conversations. Even though I flew in for surgery by myself, I never once felt unsupported. The team truly went above and beyond to make me feel safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout the entire process. The entire patient journey is so well thought out by Dr Su and supportive from start to the end. I really felt cared for.

Dr. Su performed my lower legs (knees and ankles) as well as my inner thighs just a few days ago, and the results have truly exceeded my expectations. I went in with a positive outlook and realistic hopes, but what he achieved is beyond what I imagined. My case was very challenging—my legs were heavy and deformed, especially around the inner knees and thighs. Yet, Dr. Su sculpted them back to resemble how they looked before Lipedema over 30 years ago. If you’re on the fence because of cost or hesitation, please don’t be. This surgery is truly life-changing. While there is some discomfort—certain areas more than others—it was far less than I anticipated, and the recovery, though tough, is manageable one day at a time. The care team supports you every step of the way, and Dr. Su is highly responsive and attentive to your needs. I also want to thank Tara, who assisted during the process and was absolutely amazing!

I had awake arm liposuction done and I’m really happy with the results. I could see an improvement right away, and my doctor did a very meticulous job. The staff was absolutely wonderful—kind, supportive, and really helped me get through the experience. The only drawback is that you are awake during the procedure. Even though you’re numbed and given pain medication, it’s still painful and a very surreal experience. The first few hours after surgery were rough, but by the next day I felt fine, and within 24 hours I didn’t even need pain medication anymore. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my results and grateful for the care I received. If you’re considering this procedure, just be prepared for the intensity of being awake during it, but know that recovery is quick and the outcome is worth it.

I had my lower leg lipedema surgery 4 months ago (ankles/knees) and I thank Dr. Su every single day for the amazing work that he has done. I had pretty advanced stage of lipedema. On the day of the surgery I was informed that I could have loose skin above my knees due to the severity of my condition and if I wanted, Dr Su was willing to cancel the surgery and refund all my money. He spent probably 1 hour discussing possible outcomes with me, showing me photos of similar cases. He was super patient and so caring. I decided to proceed knowing what I was going into. I was never rushed for a decision and was allowed to take my time. The surgery was a breeze and the care and compassion provided by both Dr. Su and surgical tech Tara made me feel so supported that I tear up as I remember that day. I was in Florida all by myself, trying to recover in a hotel room and these incredible people did everything to support me (I’ll never forget the humane part of this experience). Results?! 4 months out, I have amazing lower legs. I can wear skirts again. I do have loose skin over my knees given how bad my lipedema was (and I was made aware of this outcome) but my lower legs look beautifully sculpted now. I will go for my upper thighs next year and saving money for it. From the first consultation through the peri and post operative phase, Dr. Su and his team have been amazing to work with. I thank this man every day for giving me my confidence back, for being so compassionate , honest, caring and professional throughout this journey!!!

Dr Su is amazing! So is his staff! He’s upfront and honest and cares about his patients! His techniques are like none other. I wouldn’t want to go to anyone else. His staff are excellent, personable and make the experience even better!

Dr. Su and his staff was “ ABSOLUTELY AMAZING “. I was very nervous at first but the attending nurse who was in the room with me and preparing me for everything was so assuring and explained step by step on what Dr. Su was going to do. I set there talkin with Dr. Su throughout the process and I just think he’s amazing at what he do. The passion he has for this type of work is also amazing. Thank you.

Dr. Su was amazing. The nurse who was in there with me the entire time was also amazing. Dr. Su was calm and made me feel calm because I was kind of nervous. Everyone was great. The nurse talked me through the entire process on what to expect. It was process but the process after effects were worth it. Everything about Dr. Su that I research along with the ads you see on Instagram/ facebook of him speaking on how he sculpt and taylor his work and even himself is just what you get and more. I was so impress with everything, Thank you.

Dr. Su and nurse Tara were absolutely wonderful! I cannot emphasize enough how Dr. Su is passionate about individualized results/aesthetics for each individual, which is why he has the best outcomes for his patients. I have always been lean but genetically (even at very low body fat/no menstrual cycle for months) I always had a layer of fat that hid the definition in my shoulders and back of arms. Being this lean wasn’t sustainable, and now 2 weeks post-op I can say my arms and lower abdomen look better than they ever have, and it’s permanent! Recovery - I think this is different for everyone, but recovery pain was extremely manageable/I only had to take Tylenol twice. The procedure itself was also very smooth/ no pain, and they were always asking how I was doing. I cannot recommend this doctor and his team enough to anyone searching!

My experience so far has been great! The doctor is good to communicate during procedure to ensure best results, Olga is sweet, kind & very patient with me. I cannot wait to see my final result once I am fully healed. Im glad I found Art Lipo and all it has to offer.
