5 out of 5 stars Rhinoplasty

Five weeks post op

I chose Dr. Farrior because I have had consults with him in 2000 and in 2005 already. A nurse practitioner I used to work with AND my best friend had Dr. Farrior do their rhinoplasty surgeries. Even STILL I had consulet's with 3 other PS's for my own piece of mine. What I like most about him is that he ONLY does FACES. The amount of Rhinoplasty experience was a selling point. A lot of his staff has had him work on them and unless they tell you, you would never know since the results are so natural. He has that super sweet "fatherly" way about him that completely puts you at ease. like he has known you all his life. And his staff? Forget it! Those girls are awesome.

5 Weeks..Already Amazed! - Tampa, FL

Dr. Farrior and I developed a plan for my surgery utilizing one on one conversations, photos, drawings, and copious notes. His availability to me before and after the surgery was outstanding. He would reassure me that as the recovery time frame moved along, I would be able to see the planned results. They are even better and he far exceeded my expectations. He is a perfectionist and is a highly skilled surgeon. I would highly recommend Dr. Farrior.

Upper Eyelid Surgery in Tampa, FL

Dr. Farrior is experienced and professional. He didn't really offer any information about the procedure or what to expect afterwards, but he did answer all my questions. He has a great staff and I am very happy with the follow up care(I've had 2 follow up appts- one at day 3 and the other at day 11) and will see him again in January. His wait time was excellent, with the exception of the surgery day itself. I was originally supposed to have surgery at 7:30am. They called a few days before and changed it to 1:15pm. They called around 12pm the day of the surgery and changed it to 2:45pm and I was probably sitting in the lobby until around 4pm before they finally called me back. This made the day of surgery very stressful and frustrating. Dr. Farrior seems to be a little more conservative than some of the other doctors on here(he doesn't take stitches out until day 11 and he's pretty firm on the no make-up rule for 3 weeks). His office provides a thorough and easy set of instructions for pre-op and post-op, which I found very helpful.

8 Days Post-op and Could Not Be Happier! - Tampa, FL

Once I decided to start down this road, the first question was a big one. Who do I trust to alter my face forever? I asked my friend, who owns a med spa in Tampa, who she would recommend and she didn't hesitate when she said, "Dr. Farrior would be the only person I'd consider." After a couple months contemplating this very personal decision, I made an appointment. I asked people if they had heard of Dr. Farrior. Almost without exception they would respond, "Oh, I've heard he's the best!" After my consultation, I knew I had found the doctor for me. Dr. Farrior said, "If you want the perfect Hollywood button nose, that's not really what I do. What I will do is give you the nose that fits your face." Considering my biggest fear was not looking like myself after the procedure, that was all I needed to hear. We scheduled surgery for 3 weeks later. Dr. Farrior performed the surgery in his office's surgical center, which was a huge comfort to me. Instead of being in an unfamiliar place, I felt right at home. I had surgery 8 days ago and cannot put into words how thrilled I am with the results. Today, strangers would not know I had anything done. Acquaintances might do a double take because something looks a little different. My closest friends, family, and my husband are so happy for me and they love it. It is evident that Dr. Farrior and his entire staff are doing work they love to do. Even though I know they have been through this with thousands of patients before me, I felt like my case was their most important one of all time. These people change lives and I am so glad that I chose Dr. Farrior and his team to be a part of mine.

I Would Not Recommend Dr. Farrior Doctor to Anyone. I Had a Terrible Experience - Tampa, FL

I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty performed by Dr. Farrior six years ago. From the moment I came home from the procedure, I experienced very bad nerve pain that persists until this day. I never received a call from Dr. Farrior or even a nurse following the procedure and I while was in very bad pain, I contacted the office myself. Someone finally called me back and when I described to her the pain that I was in, she was very unhelpful, uncaring and lacked any type of medical knowledge or assistance. I never heard from Dr. Farrior himself that evening or at all for that matter in regards to my operation or the pain that I reported, much to my suprise. It was not until I was able to go in for my post-op appointment that I was able to explain the pain that I had been experiencing. He offered nothing in regards to a treatment for me, but just referred me to opthamologists, who have not been able to help with the nerve pain. I have been to several eye doctors who have not been able to help with the pain. Dr Farrior was completely unsympathtic and made it very clear that he wanted me out of his office. He was rude and uncaring. I just wanted him to take resposiblity for my discomfort and offer me some type of treatment, being that he is supposedly a specialist in facial cosmetic surgery. I still suffer to this day with nerve pain around both eyes. I wish that I never had this procedure performed by Dr. Farrior as I am still in pain everyday. If you are considering any type of facial surgery, stay away from this doctor and his practice all together to avoid this happening to you
