345cc dual plane 5’0 117lbs

Just had my breast augmentation done yesterday and I’m so excited to see the results! I was around a 34b before surgery and got 345cc. I was 117lbs and 5’ 0” dr matas was amazing. We went back one forth on whether to go 325 or 345cc, ultimately I decided 345cc Updated on 25 Aug 2021: Today I’m 2 days post op and feeling decent. All I have been taking is extra strength Tylenol. I feel like one of my boobs are a little more firm than the other. But I’m happy with the way they’re looking! Can’t wait to see what size they’re going to end up being! Updated on 26 Aug 2021: Feeling better and better every day. Still swollen, but can move my arms around a lot better today. I am bruised where my surgical bra sits like under my arm, and I think that’s the most sore spot. Other than that, I think everything is looking okay! One boob is still harder and higher than the other. Updated on 28 Aug 2021: Five day post op and feeling great! Loving my results so far! Still taking some extra strength Tylenol as needed. My boobs don’t hurt much, just some of the bruising on the side does. My right side is still higher and I can hear the fluid in it when I raise my arms. It’s a little weird but the dr told me that would happen. Left side isn’t as swollen and feels like it has dropped some. I’m loving them! Updated on 30 Aug 2021: My boobs are feeling good!! I’m not taking any more Tylenol. My right is still a little firmer and higher than the left, but I feel like throughout the day it drops some. It also hurts more than the left.. I can hear the fluid in it is well, so I’m assuming that’s why. Does anyone else’s boobs hurt the most first thing in the morning!? I feel like it’s also more firm in the mornings, then settles down again as the day goes on. Is it just me? Or does this happen with everyone!? Lol! Updated on 4 Oct 2021: I’m finally clear to wear a different bra! My boobs feel like a part of me now and I love them so much! I feel like my right is a little smaller than my left, buuut that’s how they were pre op as well, so it doesn’t really bother me. I love them! Updated on 4 Oct 2021: 6 weeks post op and I can finally buy new bras! Yay!! I feel like they have dropped and fluffed and feel amazing! When did your boobs drop and fluff completely!? I’m wondering if mine are done or if they’re going to look any bigger lol! I’m happy with the size they are. (Even if one is a little smaller than they other haha! It was that way pre op, so I don’t mind it) I feel like my surgeon did such a great job!! Updated on 12 Nov 2021: Loving my new boobs so much! Just had my 3 month post op appt and everything is looking and feeling great. They are now soft and feel almost natural! I haven’t had any issues, they look and feel great. Totally wish I would have gotten them sooner! No more deflated looking boobies. My scar is still a little red, but I don’t mind it at all cause it’s in the crease so you don’t even see it.

Consultation review: Very Sound Advice

I went to Dr. Matas to inquire about getting Permanent Lip Implants as he is one of the few surgeons that actually advertises the procedure on their website. When he walked in the room and took a look at me; he said, “you don’t need it.” In today’s World, “who does that? After further examining my lips he talked me completely out of the procedure and we did some filler instead; which he expertly injected. Normally, I would probably just go find another doctor. But, after showing me pictures of previous Lip Implant surgeries he has performed and stating that he didn’t want to take my money just to take it; I knew that he advice and judgment was sound and I should just listen. I have seen many negative reviews of this surgeon all over the Internet. But, for the life of me; I don’t know why? Some people are just not happy no matter where they go I guess? I however would highly recommend Dr. James Matas. Thank You Dr. Matas.

I Did It - Tummy Tuck/Lipo/Breastlift No Implants - Orlando, FL

am a mother of 2 boys and I finally decided to take some time and put some money into me. I broke the news to my close friends and family about my decision to do a tummy tuck, some lipo on my flanks, and a breast lift without implants. I was very surprised to hear of the negative feedback from those who I thought would be supportive (with the exception of my husband - he was all for it). I think one of the biggest insult I got was, "why are you wasting all that money on yourself." I kept tunnel vision and proceeded with my plans. Worked my butt off 7 days a week for months to come up with the payment in full. Well, the deed has been done and I am ecstatic with the results. I have a small frame, but had a pouch. Upon discharge my doctor told me that my muscles were fully separated and needed to be repaired. The surgery lasted 6.5 hours. What has been working for me postop: the raised toilet seat purchased at the Salvation Army for $4.99; the walker purchased from Craigslist $20 are my best friends. I have been taking percocet every 4 hours for the pain and it only took the edge off. My doctor told me to take percocet and 1/2 valium and that has worked wonders - the combination lasts 6 hours. I now day 2 and am going to try taking only tylenol because the constipation is real even though I have been taking miralax & milk of magnesia. I just had to do a fleet enema which did the job. I only have before pictures and will post after later on when I get it - I go back to my doctor Tuesday for my drain to be removed. Updated on 6 Jun 2016: Ok, so I am four days out and am feeling great - self esteem wise. I am still in pain, but it's manageable pain. My daily routine is take my antibiotics at 7 am (then again at 7pm), empty my drain (has been a consistent 25 cc every 5-6 hours), take my vitamins and drink lots of water in between. I also clean my stitches once daily with peroxide, apply polysporin and then change gauzes before binding again. Another thing that has worked for me is the anti-itch cream. Wearing the compression stocking are the worst (I have to wear for 5-7 days), they itch like hell. so every day, after sponge bathing, my hubby rubs it all over my legs. Another thing I find work is apples. I have one every morning because it coats my stomach for me to take my pills and works great for bowels. My constipation is now gone, because I am now solely taking tylenol. One of the things that I didn't use is the Ambien, I find that I sleep a lot without it. Below, I included some before and after pictures of my tummy, I will post breast lift once I get those from my doctor tomorrow. Great experience, no regrets. Updated on 8 Jun 2016: So I had my post up 2 days ago and was hoping to get my drain out-well that didn't happen because my total drainage was 75cc. I go back tomorrow for it to be removed, my total for the day has been 30cc. I pray the drain gets taken out so I can get out of this dreaded binder & into a garment. I hate my binder. It gets soooo freakin hot, it presses on the drain and it's uncomfortable. Here are pix of my BL - which I love love love... Updated on 9 Jun 2016: I'm so ecstatic. I had my drain taken out, which felt weird. I also had the stitches removed from breasts, and belly button. I also got my first hour of massage with electrodes. It truly made a difference, my stomach no longer felt stiff. I'm deliriously happy with the work Dr Matas did.

Implant Removal, Breast Lift, Tummy Tuck and Lipo - Orlando, FL

Please note price above is for all the procedures I had done ( the drop down only allows you to select one) I couldn't be happier with the results, the doctor's professionalism and expertise and his support staff. I saw many doctors prior to choosing Dr Matas and I could've made a better choice! Look no further. Make sure to include him in your list of considerations. I also heard he is an expert in facelifts from friends who have lived in Orlando a long time and know of him.

Restylane Lips Orlando 2 Syringes. Orlando, FL

Had the most amazing experience today! I went in to get my lips pumped up and juicy again but I never expected such perfection! Dr. Matas was incredible! He actually listened and didn't judge wanting more than average amount in one session! He was gentle and explained everything as he worked making me feel comfortable... He was great! Lynn in the office is so pleasant and welcoming it was an incredible experience! I LOVE MY LIPS SO MUCH! I've tried everything... Juvederm, ultra, XC, Plus... Radiesse, you name it... I've spent a mini fortune on these temporary fillers and was so disappointed! I am so grateful I found this office and Dr Matas and Lynn... I will never go anywhere else again! Now I'm wanting more procedures! Updated on 24 Sep 2015: My upper lip lacked definition! It desperately needed more volume! I tried so many other products but nothing lasted Updated on 24 Sep 2015: One week and significant decrease... I love the full swollen pouty look so I may go back for one more syringe! But I'm still happy! Updated on 4 Oct 2015: Love them! Not as much fullness on the top lips as I'd hoped but still pretty darn full! Going back for more ASAP!!!

Totally Worth It! - Orlando, FL

Great Staff and the appointments were always on time. Dr. Matas explains everything he's going to be doing and what I should expect in detail. I've done 3 procedures so far and one of them was a male breast reduction. Everything was safe and happened as planned. He really knows what he is doing. It's been a week and I already can see the results and the recovery process is going great. It's worth it. I would recommend the procedure and the doctor as well.

Dr. M is Amazing - Orlando, FL

I just had a breast augmentation and rhinoplasty at the same time from Dr. M and I am very pleased with my results. The Breast Augmentation results were beautiful from the day of surgery and my results just keep improving every day. I got 390cc and 375cc high profile saline implants. Pain was very mild. I love my results and they just look better every day! The price was comparable to other doctors in the area however I feel I received much better care and results than people who went elsewhere or looked for a "discount". I am also very happy with my rhinoplasty results, the cast just came off today and I am already amazed.

Full Tummy Tuck, Lipo on Thighs and Back, Flanks

I've wanted a tummy tuck for about 10 years now. I've always struggled with my weight...always. My doctor bluntly, yet lovingly told me that if I didn't change the way I ate it would be useless to go through this procedure because I would gain it all back and gain in places that was not attractive! He recommended me lose 15-20 lbs. before the surgery. I thought long and hard and decided that I was going to this, and not just temporary! I lost 16+ lbs. and weighed in at 151 (I'm 5'3") the morning of my surgery. I can't wait to heal to get back in the gym because I'm so scared of gaining any weight.Well about the surgery.... I was soooo nervous about going under anesthesia. But all went well and I can say that I'm on day 5 and the most pain I've felt is like a stinging pain, similar to when I had my C-section, but honestly not as bad because I have this great binder. The lipo is actually more painful - but not that bad. Some bruising and swelling but every day is getting better. I had one drain remove today along with the stitches for the lipo, a total of 4 stitches. The drain coming out hurt the worse - so I recommend a pain killer an hour before you go in. My doctor also prescribed valium to help with the nerves the night before. One problem is constipation, which is caused by the pain Rx. I really recommend starting a stool softener on day (check with your doc) one because the last thing you want after a tummy tuck is to be bound up, pressure and possibly needing a doctor to insert something in your behind to release it, uh no way!!! I also started milk magnesium - whatever works for you - just do it!!I really recommend getting on vitamins if your doctor doesn't provide them and a homeopath for bruising and swelling. Plus work-out - it has does wonders for speedy recovery. Remember you are doing this for yourself so prepare yourself the best possible way - you owe it to yourself and you'll be glad you prepared! So far the tummy tuck looks greats, need a lot more healing though. The lipo is too early to tell, or so I think anyway. Doctor says he's pleased with my healing. The cons: I have to sleep in like a jack-knife position, which isn't easy, but my doc Rx sleeping meds too - he's so wonderful! It also sucks that you can’t get the incsision wet so I have to sponge bath which let’s face, just isn’t the same so I feel gross. I had to have my husband wash my hair today (day 5) so that was gross too. Um, I’m starting to itch now – is it from healing or not being able to properly shower, dunno, but it’s temporary.

Never Ever Choose Him

I had my first breast augmentation done in 2007. I came to Dr. Matas and he performed surgery in July 2018. He removed a silicone capsule that had leaked. He cut and cut and cut and cut. He put in a Saline implant to each breast which later I found out, through other surgeons, that I am NOT a candidate for. Saline implants, in the most basic terms, just take the shape of what he left me with. Basically exposing his handy work. After surgery he told me while I was coming out of anesthesia that I had a ruptured silicone implant and that I should press charges against the surgeon who done the surgery in 2007. Why would u upset me with that information when my husband was there to be my caregiver. Tell him that as I just had surgery. He also left me with a scar that went no where. No other surgeons could identify why he cut below and away from the underlying breast. When I asked him why this extra scar was needed he simply lifted his shoulders and shook his head. Indicating to me that he too didn’t know why he did that??????? The day after surgery he insisted I come back into his office. I sat at a table where he straddled me from the front while his nurse behind me tore from the back and the Dr. tore from the front to rip my close off and unfasten the surgical bra I was put in the day before and remove the bloody bandages.!!!!!!!!!!. Even as I protested they assured me that they knew best! They released me even more traumatized. I continued to take a prescription called Singular and Vit E. He also recommended me to do breast massage as he explained this would all prevent new capsule. I continued my scheduled appointments where he hurt me every time and never answered a single question I asked. At the one month mark I went in for my routine exam and he blamed me for getting another capsule on the right side. Saying I’ll see u again in 6 weeks. I contacted attorneys and started looking for a real reconstruction surgeon. I went in for my last exam 6 months in and just wanted to speak with the Dr. Matas and not be examined by him until I got some questions answered finally. I told the front desk that is what I wanted to do first. He came barging in the room yelling at me as I sat with my legs crossed and dressed. He shouted that he can’t give me any answers until he exams me. He can’t give me any what if questions etc. He then said if I want to find another Dr. to help me I could. He said I’ll give u a few minutes to think about it. He turned and slammed the door and 30 seconds later came back in and I hadn’t moved. He said do I want to talk to one of his female staff? I said yes please. He closed the door again and came back and said she will see me when I am ready. He sat in his chair in the hall at his computer while I made my way to that other office. I spoke with his female staff and he examined me. He said I want to help u. I didn’t believe anything he told me in that meeting and I asked for my records. They gave me my file and I looked for another surgeon to help me. When I presented my file to other surgeons they explained that this Dr. Matas was sloppy, inconsistent and gave false information in my file. My OP report was literally one small paragraph long. I came across Dr. Anup Patel and Dr. Paul Afrooz. They took excellent care of me. If you are looking for great surgeons in the Florida area please contact them. I will be happy to submit before and after pics in this forum. Feel free to read my reviews on both Doctors on Google reviews and RealSelf. I wish everyone the best choices. Please, please do your research. There is no such thing as a routine surgery.

I had a chin implant and upper lip implant. I chose this doctor because he had pretty good work from the photos I seen and that the price was a lot more affordable than others. Upon meeting the doctor, he didn’t seem very personable but I was more concerned with good results at a reasonable price. I told people at work I was having surgery done. When I came back, every single person asked me what I had done because I look exactly the same! Friends as well. No one could even tell a difference. I feel like I threw away $3,600 and missed work without pay and endured pain for nothing. I thought I needed a chin implant after research because I have dimpling in my chin which is unfavorable. And the upper lip was partially because I have a gummy smile and wanted to hide it as well as make it symmetrical to the bottom lip. When I went for a follow up I told the nurse I wasn’t happy with it and I don’t see a difference. She said ok, the doctor will be right in. As soon as he walked in, he was very defensive and told me he wasn’t going to refund my money (not that I asked) and that he did what he could. He told me that there is “no way to predict the outcome”. Yet he’s been doing this almost 40 years. Ok doc. He did not offer me any solution and I walked out. Later, his office manager called and told me he would like to switch out the permalip implant for the largest size and I would just pay a small amount. And that they would offer me complimentary Botox in my chin to eliminate the dimples. I made the Botox appt and at the appt I told him I wanted to switch out the implant and he seemed like he changed his mind and was making me nervous talking about scar tissue, etc. I decided I don’t want him doing this if he’s unconfident with his abilities. Let me also add which is very important: during the consultation he told me he would put in the largest size (5MM) but when she called me with the offer, she said in the notes it said he inserted the size below (4MM). The 4MM and 5MM look significantly different in size by the way.
