I am 30 and have 3 kids, had 32b boobs before kids but after breastfeeding all 3 I now am a deflated 32A. I really can't wait to feel sexy again for myself. I went to three consults and finally chose my PS. He was great, he took his time to answer every question my husband and I had. I go to my my pre-op on 1/27/12. I am very petite 4'11" and 106 pounds and I really dont want to look like a [RS bleep] star but do want them to look noticeable. I am going for a full 32C saline under the muscle with an under the breast incision. My PS mentioned that I was gonna be a 32 C with about 330cc to 350cc. I over think everything and am anxious and worried about a size that would go with my petite body. Any suggestions??? By the way my surgery is scheduled for 2/8/12. Can't wait! Updated on 28 Jan 2012: Well went to my first preop and changed my mind I'm going with silicone instead. Now I have to choose from 339cc or 371cc. Its only 32cc difference which is not much but I am worried to go too big or for it not to show enough.... The nurse in my PS office says ladies usually come back wishing they would have gone bigger so she recommends the 371cc for me. I have one more appt. on 2/3/12 to give them my decision and to go over my labwork can't wait. Updated on 7 Feb 2012: Just a few hours away from surgery and am very anxious and scared. Just hope that my choice of 371cc is not too big. I went with the bigger of the 2 choices that I was going back and forth with because I was told that when the implant goes behing the muscle it gets diminished by about 15%, I hope that is true. Can't wait till I am back home in my bed. Will post after surgery... Updated on 6 Mar 2012: I had the surgery on Feb. 8th and everything went great I am 4 weeks out and feel great! I am very happy with my results again I went with allergan natrelle silicone 371cc under the muscle with a crease incision. I was worried that they would be too big but they actually are not. They fit my petite body just perfect. I cant wait to go this weekend bra shopping. I did buy one already and tried 34C but was a little tight so bought a 34D and it fit great. I love them!
I had a lot of extra skin and large panus from childbearing and weight loss.
To help me feel better about myself
I had an incredible experience with Smart Lipo. I did the hips, stomach, waist and thighs. I saw incredible results in every area except inner thighs. I am completely satisfied with results and with the procedure. Finding the right Doctor was key, one I was comfortable with and knew would be with me every step of the way. The downtime was minimal and I was back on my feet and back to my life within days from the procedure. Back to normal activity, working out etc....after a few weeks. I would absolutley recommend this procedure if you are looking to trim your edges and get your curves and shape back.
As a middle age woman who works out everyday and look and feel very good. The only was I was going to lose my lower stomach fatty tissue around my hysterectamy scar was through surgery. I would recommend this procedure to anyone with this situation.
After having 3 babies over a couse of 4 years that I breast fed, my breast were in need of help. I needed the self confidence of my pre-pregnancy body. I did it to improve my over all looks and so that my body all matched in it parts equally. I am so happy and secure in Dr. P that I highly recommend him. I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. P as a nurse also and can say his bedside manner and professionalism are one of the best I have ever seen and experienced.
] would like to take this opportunity to express to anyone who is interested in having Plastic Surgery to please see Dr. P. He has been my Dr. Now going on 4 years and I can honestly say he is the best there is. I had 4 surgeries done by him after my Gastric bypass and I can say he has changed my life. I have had lower body lift, upper body and breast lift, and thighoplasty. I had Gastric bypass and it was the end of a long journey and I wanted only the best and that is what I received...
One of the most frustrating outcomes of Body Contouring Surgery Following Weight Loss is the re-stretching of the skin, especially to the Upper Arms or Inner Thighs. The degree of stretching is due to many factors: age, genetics, amount of skin/fat removed during surgery. Some patients need a second operation to achieve their goals. I recommend that you have a consultation with your Plastic Surgeon to explore the options that are available. I do not recommend any Laser Skin Tightening/Velashape treatments or any other non-surgical treatment based upon the information you provided in your question.
A focused upper arm/shoulder exercise program combined with your Brachioplasty Surgery will give you the best contour. Your action plan should consist of: 1. Personal trainer who will help you isolate and develop the Deltoids/Biceps/Triceps muscles of the upper arm and shoulder. This will improve your "deep volume." 2. Brachioplasty Surgery (combined skin resection and SMARTLIPO MPX or Erchonia LIPOLaser Liposuction sculpting of the fatty tissue) 3. Laser Skin tightening/Velashape to improve the tone and stretchmarks of the skin. Good Luck with your surgery!
Scar Revision following Brachioplasty (Body Contouring Surgery) is a common procedure performed under local anesthesia in an office setting. However, Contour Revision combined with Scar Revision may require a return to the operating room with a greater level of anesthesia depending on the extent of the revision that you require. Prior to revision of any Body Contouring Surgery site, it is important to compare, with your Plastic Surgeon, your pre-operative photos with your most recent post-operative photos. If your main goal is improvement in the appearance of the scar, and you only wish to have a portion of the scar revised, then an in office procedure is the most economical way to proceed. However, if you are unhappy with the shape of your arm (contour) as well as the look of the scar, then you may need a return visit to the operating room to achieve an optimum outcome. A frank conversation with your Plastic Surgeon is the best way to proceed. Good Luck!
Based upon the information provided in your question, you seem to be the ideal candidiate for breast reduction: trim, healthy and with symptoms of neck pain/back pain/shoulder pain that have not been relieved with non-surgical treatment. I recommend the following: 1. See your Pediatrician with your Mom and ask she/he to order x-rays to determine if your bony growth plates have closed. If they are closed, your have stopped growing in height. In addition, if your breasts have not changed in size in the last year, they have also likely stopped growing (except if you gain weight). 2. Ask your Mom to schedule a consultation with at least 2 Plastic Surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (you can check on line to confirm their certification) that have been recommended by other Nurses, Physicians and family members and friends. They will be able to provide you detailed information that will help you and your Mom make an informed decision. Even with all of this information and if you choose to proceed with surgery, it is possible that you may need a revision operation if your breasts have not stopped growing. Read as much as you can about Breast Reduction Surgery and ask your Plastic Surgeon to refer your to other young women who have had Breast Reduction Surgery so you can decide if this is the right operation for you. Good Luck!
The most transforming BODY CONTOURING LIFT FOLLOWING WEIGHT LOSS is a Lower Body Lift. No single body lift procedure seems to restore a patients self confidence as does the circumferential Lower Body Lift. However, many patients do not have the financial resources or the recovery time to devote to proceed with the LOWER BODY LIFT. In my experience and those of other large University Medical centers in Pittsburgh and Dallas, a Lower Body Lift can be safety performed in a reasonable operative time with the appropriate surgical team. Be sure to choose a surgeon who has a team to assist her/him in the operating room to both reduce the operative time and to perform the "extra" procedures (Auto-Augmentation of the Buttocks) that will result in an outstanding surgical outcome. Other than your own weight and general health, the experience of your surgeon and the surgical team is the most important factor in determining a safe and satisfying outcome.
