Amazing experience. Went with 750ccs, under the muscle, silicon, ultra high profile I believe, Inspira Natrelle. I went through a facility, not his private practice, and I was a little nervous. He looked over my inspiration pictures and gave me exactly what I wanted it appears. I'm now 4 weeks post up with my results getting better daily. I'm so happy with them, my only regret is not getting them sooner. I'll update after they fully drop. Price includes implants, bloodwork, and ultrasound. Updated on 4 Jul 2025: I wanted to make an in depth post about my experience. My photo shows week 1-6 progress. I had seen various photos of CG Cosmetics' work and loved the results. Looking through the doctor reviews I decided on Dr. Hunsaker. My care coordinator told me she personally had a breast augmentation from him that had come out great. My care coordinator, Barbara, was great. She answered my questions, went over a lot on information with me, we spent almost an hour and half talking about everything and getting financing. My preop was Friday morning and I arrived at CG, there wasnt much signage but we found where to go pretty quick. I got there at 915am for what was supposed to be a 930am appointment. I had received a text that you could expect to be there 4 or 5 hours. I told my husband I shouldn't be that long since I already had all my blood tests and mammogram done and in hand. How wrong I was. We were there til after 1pm. Another woman asked if it was always like this and the receptionist told her no. I dont know if it's true but be prepared to wait if you go through CG. I was hoping to get to try on bras at the very least but the appointment consisted of looking over my paperwork, confirming payment, and taking before photos. There is no seeing potential results, so you really run a potential gamble. Monday morning was my surgery. I arrived 30 minutes early, again not much signage explaining where to go and we walked to both sides of the building before finding the surgery center. Once in the room, which is more like a closet with a curtain, they started my iv and I met the doctor and anesthesiologist, I forgot his name. Dr. Hunsaker looked over all my inspiration photos and drew on me. I felt as confident and comfortable with both as I could. When I woke up I was in excruciating pain. I don't remember a lot up until I got in the car. I don't remember anyone checking on me or offering advice, except to tell me not to use my arms to sit myself up. I just wanted to get out of there and asked to leave. They seemed surprised I was asking. Once I got into the car I was able to tell my armpit was stretch taut and spasming. It was terrible, 10/10 pain. Then came the issue of getting my meds. Miami is full of plastic surgeons and I guarantee they all prescribe the same thing. We went to/called 9 different pharmacies in a 30 mile radius before finally finding a pharmacy that had my medication. They closed at 130pm for a holiday and I found then at 1pm. So I didn't get any pain meds or muscle relaxers til the day after. I tried calling the non emergency line to ask what to do and never received any communication back. The day after my pain level was a 3. What it probably should have been when I woke up. I wish staff had been more attentive and controlled the pain better. Day 2 I was so tight and high, which is normal. I was unprepared for how tight they were. I thought they were going to pop. The next day, day 3, the over the top swelling had gone down, no more pop feeling just a tightness. Since then I have followed my aftercare to T. I wore the breast band 24/7, did my massages multiple times daily, didn't lift anything heavy even when I felt I could, slept elevated on my back, basically anything they told me I've done. I'm so impressed with my results, they fit my frame well, and they look better most days. Since they are still dropping some days look a little lopsided or one will appear way smaller than the other but the next day theyll look even again. Ill update again at 6 months post op and 1 year post op. Overall I don't regret getting them done at all, just that I went through CG instead of private practice.
Cg cosmetics sucks but doctor hunker does a beautiful job . I got 450 cc breast implants exchanged my old ones and a lift and they are looking so good at just 4 weeks post op . Thank you doctor ! Fits my body perfectly.
As I’m writing this, I am 20 days post op from my Breast Augmentation. I am 200lbs, 5’4 tall, original bra size around a large 36B/small C. My implants are silicone 445cc which were placed under the muscle. I initially had a consult with another surgeon who recommended I get 315-375cc silicone implants placed over the muscle. I had tried on sizers as well which made me think 315cc was enough to balance my frame out. My CG cosmetic experience: I was an out of town patient so I arrived in Miami the day before my Preop appointment. Preop day arrives and i arrive in a crowded waiting room. It felt like an assembly line of women going and returning. I waited longer than I expected. I was told to arrive at noon and didn’t leave until about 3pm. I didn’t get to see the surgeon or talk to him yet and my surgery was scheduled for the next day. Surgeon experience: About 20 mins before the surgery I finally got to meet the Dr and the anesthesiologist. I first spoke with the anesthesiologist and he asked me about any medicine I had been taking prior and any medical history. Next, I met Dr.Hunsaker. I was told to have some pictures to show the Dr ok how I would like my breasts to look. I only had time to show him 2 max. Then after marking me up her recommended I get 445cc on both sides which sounded huge to me. I thought I would definitely be somewhere in the 300s. Everything else after that moved pretty quickly. Now I’m almost 3 weeks post and I think they look great so far. I’m mostly keeping an eye on my incisions and researching massages. CG cosmetics exp cont: The thing about CG which doesn’t seem to be the surgeons fault is the volume of patients they receive so they aren’t too much involved after the 1st post op appointment so I’ve been doing a lot of research on what I should be doing after the fact now. I don’t remember receiving a post op instruction sheet that goes in depth on care after the first few days after surgery, but you get what you pay for. They do seem to be available if I have any questions but my time with the Dr was very very brief. All in all, so far I am satisfied with Dr. Hunsaker’s work. My mother in law who is a surgical nurse looked at my breasts when I was 5 days post op and helped me take off my tapes and she said my incisions and the breasts overall look to be healing very nicely. My motivation: I always (in the back of my mind) was self conscious about my breasts. They just didn't seem to fill out to match my figure. I wasn't going to get the implants but an encounter with someone made me research breast fat transfers and implants again after like 15 years since my last serious consult. So far I don't regret my decision. I somehow regret waiting so long now being in my mid 30s. Updated on 15 Jan 2024: I’m 4 weeks post op and I haven’t been experiencing much pain. I get some pings of pain every now and then around my incision area. Ive been able to wear regular sports bras now instead of the front close style. I’ve been keeping my incisions covered with gauze and tape to prevent the sports bra band from rubbing up against that area. I haven’t started working out yet but I’ve been able to lift slightly heavier bags like groceries. I’ve still been sleeping with extra pillows instead of laying down flat. I found some massages I could do on YouTube but I haven’t been consistent on massaging (probably like 4-5 days out of the week). I bought a breast band to wear but I wasn’t told why it’s helpful or anything so I haven’t been consistent at all wearing it. It does seem like my boobs have dropped some though. I had a bruise on my right breast that is just about gone now. No one has really been able to tell I got work done with my clothes on and since it’s winter so that part has been easy. Can’t wait to see my progress in 4 more weeks! Updated on 10 Feb 2024: I have been able to sleep on my side since my last update and could maybe sleep on my stomach with some support from my arms/hands. My left breast seems to have dropped more than my right (more dominant) side. You can see from photos how my right side (side holding phone) still kind of points down. I still like them but sometime I wonder if I should have gone bigger. My clothes definitely fit better and my body feels more in proportion. Updated on 8 Mar 2024: So the only thing that I’m worried about now is that it looks like my left breast may be bottoming out. The area below my nipple looks a little misshapen. I mentioned it to my plastic surgeon’s office and they suggested I wait until I’m completely healed at 6 months. So now I am trying to determine if this will bother me aesthetically if I don’t get surgery to correct it. Aside from my left breast I think my right one is almost done dropping. Any thoughts on my left breast? Updated on 23 Aug 2024: It’s been 8.5 months and I am considered fully healed now. I mentioned before that I was considering reaching out to the surgeon for a corrective surgery (for the breast on the side of my body that doesn’t have a shoulder tattoo). I’m not completely dissatisfied with the results and I wouldn’t want to leave from the corrective surgery in worse condition than before. My results now are good enough for me :) I get annoyed occasionally but it’s ok. People are rarely symmetric when you compare both sides of the body. I added some pics from this morning.
I had an implant exchange done in December of 2021. I am now currently 5 months post op. My breasts look phenomenal and so much better than my first 2 sets. Dr Robert Hunsaker is the “Boob God”. He is very understanding, listens to all of your questions & answers honestly. Such a nice guy and I would recommend him to anyone! Updated on 4 Aug 2022: Updated on 2 Jan 2023:
Tremendous doctor with kind and caring bedside manner. His anesthesiologist is the best!! I had a botched boob job in Colombia. He fixed them and I can’t be happier! He does exceptional work! You do not have to book through CG cosmetics!!! Cosmetic plastic surgery - thank me later ladies! Talk to Maria she will schedule you and he also does other plastic surgeries. I am having my eyes done next!
Obsessed! I flew from Texas in March to have my BA done with Dr. Hunsaker. He and the operating crew had great bedside manner and my results are AMAZING! 650 cc in each breast, silicone implants. They not only look SUPER natural, they also fit my figure perfectly and I feel more beautiful and sexier than ever. Highly Recommend Dr Hunsaker!
He is absolutely amazing! He actually cared about what I wanted. Everyone said he only does big boobs but he gave me a great size for my frame. If you don’t like CG cosmetics book him at his private practice. Updated on 10 Jun 2021: I went to CG April 2021, the pre op was an experience it’s self. They were a tad bit unorganized and patients were giving them hell for it and the staff was becoming frustrated especially with the language barriers. Most of the staff barely speak English. Besides that the day of surgery went smooth. Dr. Hunsaker was AMAZING he gave me exactly what I wanted and 6 weeks later my boobs look WONDERFUL!
In March I got a BA with Dr. Hunsaker at CG cosmetics. The facility itself is a complete ZOO! However, Dr. Hunsaker was amazing and I couldn’t be happier with my results. Once I met him he eased all of my anxiety and fears. He asked me to show him a picture of what I wanted to look like. I did and he suggested 375 high profile silicone (345 in my right breast because I’ve always been naturally uneven.) I asked if we could do 475/445 and he said “yes sure!” With a big smile. I’m glad I decided to go up an extra 100 because I couldn’t be happier. Thank you dr! Post op care was easy. My incisions have healed very well now I’m just working on lightening them up because the scars are dark.
Dr. Hunsaker gets 5 stars from me. My BA was March 23rd so I’m only 5 days post op but so far I love my results. I went with 435cc (L) 470cc (R) ultra high profile. He was very nice and knowledgeable. Answered all of my questions. I asked what he suggested I get and he said 370cc but I decided to go up another 100cc and he was completely fine with that. I’m so glad I did!
Kenia and Manny were great. I emailed manny my labs directly and he responded quickly. He even emailed me to let me know that they had received my medical clearance and ekg from my doctor. Kenia was very informative and friendly. I went with Dr. Hunsaker who was very pleasant with me. I didn’t feel rushed and he answered all of my questions. My anesthesiologist was great as well. All and all I had a good experience although I will say that I don’t believe they review your medical records until the day before or day of surgery because I was told that they had received my medical clearance and that I just needed to have my CBC redone per my dr which I did however I was not inform they had not received clearance from my hematologist until the day of my surgery literally mins before my appointment. Luckily I was able to get a copy of my dr note email to them to have my surgery done otherwise I would have been pissed. I am 5’6 123lbs and I got 525 cc silicone under the muscle.
Unless you are planning pregnancy in the next couple years there is really no strong reason to wait. The future if full of "ifs". Reminds me of a conversation I had recently about the poorly constructed vacation homes that were destroyed in the hurricanes in the Virgin Islands. I was intially critical of their not building them out of concrete etc. I was reeminded that most of these were built as dream cottages by people of more limited means. They knew the risks and many/most got close to 20 years of great use from them whereas they could have never even had them if they were required to spend the money to build them stronger. Point being, only you can decide the "value" of the improvement over time.
I would recommend under. You have very little cover for the implant and would also be in a more ripple prone plane with a higher risk of capsular contracture in front. Exercise, working out and weightlifting are essentailly non-factors in deciding unless you are a very serious bodybuilding/figure competitor.
TOTALLY normal . . ............................................................................................................
It's not. The purported difference is less blood loss. Because there is typically only maybe a total blood loss of one drop using a scalpel it is not meaningful. Recover does not depend on scalpel versus laser. In the words of one of my former southern mentors - "Son, a difference has got to MAKE a difference to BE a difference".
Prices vary. In my practice there would be a difference since in the "pinch" there is less work, risk, supply cost, time. etc. In the pinch, there is simply some superficial skin(sometimes muscle) removal. In a full blepharoplasty, deep fat is also removed or repositioned. Totally different.
