When a tummy tuck includes muscle plication or repair of the rectus diastasis it is more painful than a simple skin excision procedure. Dr. Polo does a "Painless Drainless Tummy Tuck". He places two small catheters through the skin and beneath the two layers of muscle sutures. The two catheters attach to an On-Q pump filled with local anesthesia which automatically drips into the site, making the patient more comfortable.

Unfortunately without implants or some type of surgery, there is no safe and effective method of achieving permanent augmentation in breast size. There are products and devices that will cause temporary engorgement of the breasts. Injectable fillers have also been used off label for augmentation of breasts, however these results are also temporary and large volume increases are not practically achievable. Use of permanent injectable fillers in the breast is definitely contraindicated due to risk of infection and deformity and interference with cancer screening. The best option for your breast enhancement may be to utilize fat from other areas of your body for grafting. This is a surgical procedure but involves minimal scarring. Permanent augmentation of breasts up to 1 cup size can be achieved with a single fat grafting procedure. Larger augmentation is possible with additional procedures provided that enough fat is available at your donor areas.

My Experience Was 10/10
After doing some research and a few consultations with a different plastic surgeons in Miami, I knew I had hit jackpot when I made my decision of going with Dr Polo. In the days leading to my surgery I was excited but extremely nervous with lots of things happening in my life at the time. Luckily for me, Dr Polo and his incredible team of dedicated, attentive and supportive staff made the entire process feel easy and uncomplicated. Each and every single one of my endless questions: quickly and clearly answered and explained! The day of surgery, I was again excited but not nervous. Dr Polo is soft spoken, gentle, articulate, assertive and under his care, I felt reassured and most importantly, SAFE. It’s only been 1 week and 1 day since Dr Polo did a breast lift w/ implants, lipo of the abdomen, flanks & revision of my old tummy tuck incision and so far the results are BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS! My breasts look so perky & beautiful! My torso is contoured and the revision of old tummy tuck incision is now a work of art! My only regret is that, I didn’t go to Dr. Polo sooner! More Than 5 Stars!
If I could give Dr. Polo and his team more than 5 stars I would. I was nervous about my lipo revision and fat grafting due to a previous experience (with another surgeon) that was extremely painful, developed an infection, and traumatic to say the least. I was left with irregularities, dimpling and unevenness as a result. Close to 4 years later, I was finally ready to correct those imperfections. Dr. Polo and his team were incredible from the first phone call. I had minimal pain/swelling post operatively, no infection, and my results are exactly as I hoped: smooth, seamless, and proportional curves. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend Dr. Polo! The Best Descision of my Life
I am 68 years old nd was concerned of the weight and size of my breast. Extremely uncomfortable and went to Doctor Polo to find out if he saw this procedure suitable at my age. I was surprised he showed me lots of women that have done it and I decided that second Inreally wanted to do it. A lot went on because on January he said your mammogram does show a concern so you need to resolved it before I can do anything. I said it was sooo minor. Please. Do it and he refused. I took my mammogram and waited the time. Went to MDAnderson that I need to be a patient there and until they cleared me we could schedule the procedure. I cannot tell you how easy everything was from the very begginig to today 6 months later. Inam the happiest grandmother of 5 children. Its been really wonderful. Thank Dr. Polo and staff. Almost 6 weeks post tummy tuck and I look and feel amazing
Almost 6 weeks post tummy tuck and I look and feel amazing! It was great not to have drains and I also had a pain pump for 5 days. Only used Tylenol for mild pain and discomfort. Great experience! Great bedside manners. Kuddos to Taylor and Natalia for being so responsive to all of my questions. Thank you!

Week no. 2 of recovery and I feel amazing
Dr Max Polo is an amazing doctor. Best of the best in every way. I am 71 years and wanted for years to have a breast reduction and lift and finally decided to take the leap. I started to search online and decided to check out 2 well known celebrity type plastic surgeons. I was so disappointed when i went to their offices for a consultation. I felt like it was assembly line for woman who wanted breast reduction or augumentation and all they cared about was the money which was basically $5000 more than Dr. Polo office quoted me and retaining me as a client. I was extremely disappointed. Then I remembered in 2002 I had eyelid surgery with Dr. Kelly, a former associate of Miami Plastic Surgery who moved to Georgia, so I decided to check out their office once again.The consultation was FREE, and from the moment I met Dr. Polo I knew I was in good hands. He is a professional, kind and caring and I had absolute trust in His ability to perform this long awaited surgery. I want to give a shout out to his entire team who assisted me from start to finish from scheduling to making my surgery go flawlessly without a hitch. Thank you Taylor, Ivette, Alba, Natalia, Liz and Dr. Exposito, they are truly exceptional employess. It is week no. 2 of recovery and I feel amazing.
