I had scheduled surgery with another practice. I traveled from North Carolina to have a surgery. Upon checking in Monday, I started to get a bit suspicious. I got so uncomfortable with the lack Of consistency that I left the practice. I did a Google search, and I found Dr. Careaga. I went in for a consult with my suitcase in hand not knowing what my next move would be. This practice in comparison to the other was like Night and Day - or vice versa rather. The staff were so friendly, patient, helpful, and busy. These folks were just sitting around, holding up the counter. The place was clean anyway, but there were people constantly cleaning. The atmosphere was great! When I saw the doctor, I got a very honest opinion. Some of the work that I was going to have done wasn’t necessary, and he gave me some advice that I needed to hear. I was still going to get something done, and they quickly gave me a quote. At the very least, this doctor saved me from some unnecessary surgeries and expenses. However, without getting into too much detail, I think he saved me from much worse. Unfortunately, they didn’t have anything right away, so I had to come back home to North Carolina. Dr. Careaga: I want you to know how much I appreciate you. I think you are a truly an ethical, honest guy, and it appears you have a great team of folks working with you. Thank you much!

I had 2 procedures with Dr Careaga. He is a great person and surgeon. I recommend him anytime. The office staff are great as well. It's a great place to do any surgery you like to have done. Dr Careaga takes his time and answers all your questions. I am happy I chose him to be my surgeon.

Hello, I recently got a breast lift/ reduction Went from a DDD to i am not sure yet Just thought id share my recovery process in hopes it will help anyone thinking of getting this procedure or currently recovering from it. Updated on 11 Sep 2023: Im 4 days post op feeling pretty good This surgery so far has been a pretty smooth recovery. Updated on 13 Sep 2023: Updated on 13 Sep 2023: 6 days post op feeling great- this has been the best decision of my life its been a smooth recovery thus far now just a waiting game on the healing process ………………………………………………… Updated on 19 Sep 2023: Doing very well. Im so happy I did this surgery only regret is waiting so long to do it. I feel good id say im 90% back to my daily activities im still limiting my arm movements and im not reaching for anything I am applying neosporin to the incisions daily. Still wearing the compression bra given to me by my PS office 23 hours a day. I had to switch from wearing the gauze under the bra to just wearing a tanktop because the gauze was irritating my skin. The barrier between the tigt bra and the boobs/incisions feels necessary since everything is so sensitive. i have my 2 week post op on Thrusday and i hope you able to switch to a regular sports bra then. Im still bruised and my boobs feel swollen but im not in any pain. The worst thing for me has been sleeping upright. Happy Healing Updated on 27 Sep 2023: Feeling great! Updated on 27 Sep 2023: Healing nicley so far. Some parts are scabbing over and my nipples are peeling not sure if that normal but it seems to be. The nipples are slowly flattening out and gtting the normal color back as well as my boobs in general the bruising is starting to subside im sure it will get better each week i also have noticed the boobs falling into a more normal shape. Im not even at a month post so i am pretty sure they will only get better im so happy so far and i am so happy i choose my doctor he is top of the line! My boobs haven neer looked better

I have been a client of Careaga plastic surgery since February 2018 and I am pleased to say that I continue to be impressed with the friendly staff who is always able to answer questions, and are extremely respectful. Also, the cleanliness of the office, it’s a perfect 10! Of course the professionalism with each of the professionals. Both physicians, the PA, and the aesthetician. This last appointment was with the PA Rheana. I have developed a very close relationship with and she has instilled in me of what natural and youthful should look like. Because of her, people say I age backwards!

Couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon to have performed my tummy tuck. My scar looks amazing!! My belly button look sooo perfect!! Overall, I am in love with the outcome!!
