I have wanted to get a BA for the last year since I lost 30 lb. Got a facelift 5 months ago which made me look younger so now time for the boobs after I worked hard on my body. I’m 68 and my husband and my PS thought I was nuts. But yesterday I did it! Local anesthesia, Sientra moderate plus gel 325cc overs. Dr Sachse was great - I had not much sedation at all and only felt a little pain once. One day post op and feel great - worked all day with just a little discomfort from the drains I have in. So glad I did it, and for all you older women who are still proud of your body - why not??

Drains removed yesterday - oh the relief! Didn’t feel the left one, just a tug, but the right one hurt like hell. That’s also where most of my pain was coming from and I think there’s been some nerve issues but hardly any discomfort at all now. Been working the last two days which was maybe pushing it but today is Saturday so I get to rest! Took the dressings off this morning and I’m just really, really happy. I know they will be a little smaller once they settle down and get softer, and they will look more natural, but what I live is that they still look like my boobs, only younger and fuller. Dr Sachse I love you!

Starting to get more used to them. They are getting softer and the feeling is coming back to my nipples. Asked my PS what he thought and his answer was “ they look amazing. What 68 year old has boobs like that?” Good point. Still feel I should have gone a little smaller but I do love them and I’m glad I did this!

This was my request. I had taken this bra to my size consult and said I wanted to fill it. Voila!!!!
Clothes now look amazing and I don’t have to wear a bra. Fun times trying on all my clothes lol.
My husband is starting to get used to them and is starting to play with them.
Incisions have healed really well and I am starting to massage them with vitamin E. Dr Sachse says I can do anything I want now. Just hoping and praying no capsular contraction. That would definitely suck.

So many of you have commented that I don’t look 68. Part of that is good genes, I work out almost every day which is not easy. Also a huge factor is because I have been on bio identical HRT for the last 18 months and got my life back, losing 30 lb and then having a facelift and eye surgery in March really, really helped too. So that’s my secret.

I missed a lot of comments and just wanted to update you on the face and boobs, especially for you older ladies. Everything is feeling good - both my husband and myself have now got used to the boobs and they feel and look pretty natural and have dropped a little. Hopefully they won’t drop too much! My nipples are still pretty sensitive but less so. The facelift seems to be holding up ok. So very happy I did that. I honestly look better than I did 10 years ago. Focusing on my skin this year. All that sun damage - ugh! I will be 69 in two weeks. Hard for me to believe! Good luck all of you who are considering surgery. Do it if it makes you happy - it did me, for sure!
