Late in Life 325cc over - Finally Did It!

WORTH IT$5,000
I have wanted to get a BA for the last year since I lost 30 lb. Got a facelift 5 months ago which made me look younger so now time for the boobs after I worked hard on my body. I’m 68 and my husband and my PS thought I was nuts. But yesterday I did it! Local anesthesia, Sientra moderate plus gel 325cc overs. Dr Sachse was great - I had not much sedation at all and only felt a little pain once. One day post op and feel great - worked all day with just a little discomfort from the drains I have in. So glad I did it, and for all you older women who are still proud of your body - why not??

Drains removed yesterday - oh the relief! Didn’t feel the left one, just a tug, but the right one hurt like hell. That’s also where most of my pain was coming from and I think there’s been some nerve issues but hardly any discomfort at all now. Been working the last two days which was maybe pushing it but today is Saturday so I get to rest! Took the dressings off this morning and I’m just really, really happy. I know they will be a little smaller once they settle down and get softer, and they will look more natural, but what I live is that they still look like my boobs, only younger and fuller. Dr Sachse I love you!

Thanks - you are right. I question myself sometimes. I was such a feminist and I haven’t even told my two daughters. But I’m so glad I did it.

Good on you! You obviously work hard to maintain your figure so go for it I say!

YOU GO GRRR! Don’t tell your daughters. See if they notice. They’re bound to that see you’re smiling a little more and a little more confident. Actually, you looked great before, if that’s you “before” pic with your arms in the air. You had a great “athletic” figure. But treating ourselves to a little more femininity, especially later in life, gives us a little extra rocket power as we sail into our final third of life. I know it did for me. At 64 I got a tummy tuck, breast reduction from a back killing 38G, and liposuction on my back. Grrrl it fired my rockets and they’re still revving all these years later at almost 73. So pat yourself on the back, brave one. And sport those girls - I think they make your fit figure look even better!

Starting to get more used to them. They are getting softer and the feeling is coming back to my nipples. Asked my PS what he thought and his answer was “ they look amazing. What 68 year old has boobs like that?” Good point. Still feel I should have gone a little smaller but I do love them and I’m glad I did this!

You look great, I’m scheduled for a facelift January 2022. I’m going to stay awake, but starting to feel some anxiety. Any words of wisdom?

Hi there! I was really glad I was awake. My surgery was 5 hours but I dozed off at one point, I was so relaxed. Definitely the way to go. I was pretty anxious but it was totally fine! Good luck!

I thought mine were too big too, and everyone tells me no!

I am 69. Will be 70 in October. Having a facelift and lip lift in 6 more days. In January all my upper teeth were pulled and wearing a denture now. So glad I did that before the facelift because even with my denture in I have noticed I have “lost” some upper lip and my smile has gotten “wonky”. I think the lip lift will make me look more youthful in the lip area.

You look absolute amazing and an inspiration especially in later years! Where implants on top of muscle and if so why did doc recommend that as many are advising to go under and I’m not keen on that. Thank you.
