Dr. Lennox is such a humble, skilled, and considerate doctor, and my experience from start to end was amazing. The consultation was realistic and the results are better than I even anticipated. He answers all the questions you may have, and his work is by far some of the best I have seen in all my research. His bedside manner is great and I completely trust him and his judgement for anything aesthetic, and timeless results. I highly recommend him, the wait time is well worth it!
I had an abdominoplasty six months ago to remove some sagging skin and a c-section scar. I trusted Dr. Lennox to carry out the procedure after he did my upper eyelid blepharoplasty in the past. Both surgeries went well and the recoveries were as expected. I am pleased with both results, glad to have done them. I would not hesitate to choose Dr. Lennox for other cosmetic procedures.
My experience with Dr. Lennox in Vancouver, BC has been the very best. I had been struggling with unsatisfactory under-the-muscle breast implants for over 2 years and was seeking a surgeon who would replace them with larger implants over-the-muscle. I found Dr. Lennox upon recommendation of a patient of his associate. He and his staff provided me with the most excellent and expert personal and medical care. Dr. Lennox is exceptionally perceptive and proficient, a most skilled surgeon. Now 3 months post-op, my new 745cc over-the-muscle silicone breast implants look stellar. They are beautifully balanced, soft, and bouncy with amazing looking cleavage. I got exactly what I wanted and couldn't be happier. Also, consultation appointments and post-surgery follow-up care with Dr. Lennox and receptionist Toni have been most responsive, comprehensive, and kind. My breast augmentation experience with Dr. Lennox and staff has been a fulfilling, joyful pleasure.
I'm so glad I chose Dr. Lennox as my surgeon after thorough research. Surgery is serious, and Dr. Lennox clearly approaches his work with great seriousness while also maintaining a warm yet highly professional demeanour with his patients. He approached not just my surgery individually, but each breast individually. He took the time to explain his approach to each breast's surgery after doing so, and I felt I was being treated by a surgeon and physician who cared about the aesthetic end result, of course, but from a medical perspective of health and healing. Dr. Lennox is a meticulous surgeon and a physician first and foremost. If you choose him, you are choosing a doctor who will make decisions you can trust, on the day, in the operating theatre. He also fully supported my decision on the day to not have a breast lift on one nipple, which turned out to be a good one, as the augmentation nearly fully corrected my asymmetry on its own. He explained how he could correct asymmetry in the future if I so chose through an outpatient procedure. I never thought I would ever have plastic surgery, but eight years after having nursed my daughter for three years, I decided to restore volume to my breasts. I am so happy with the results. Healing was more painful than I had anticipated (I only took Advil, so that is on me) but I am pain-free and have virtually no under-breast scarring and no capsular contracture. My breasts are soft, natural, and perfectly sized to my small frame. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Lennox, and have no doubt he is one if not the best surgeon for breast augmentation in the city. Thank you to his patient care coordinator Toni, who is the epitome of professionalism and warmth.
While undergoing a tummy tuck I decided to have some fat grafted to my hands, may as well transfer the fat that was removed from the liposuction to the right places :) I was quite swollen for a couple of weeks, there was minimal pain. I am happy with the results, I might still consider another fat grafting in a couple of years? Dr Lennox did an amazing job. Updated on 3 Oct 2023: I am still pleased with the result 2 years post op. I have lost around 10% more fat since the 3 months post op picture but the result is still noticeable. I am happy I had this procedure, the fat graft is helping my hands to age more gracefully.
I am 7 weeks post op drainless tummy tuck with muscle repair and breast lift/breast reduction to one breast. I am so happy with the results this far and they far exceeded my expectations. I met a few PS and after meeting Dr. Lennox and Toni my decision was made, and I am so happy I trusted them. Dr. Lennox has amazing bedside manner and Toni’s patient care coordinator skills are some of the best I’ve seen - and I can say this because I work in the healthcare field. My incision lines are already so thin and the redness in the pictures are because I just removed the silicone tape and it left marks. These photos are taken at 8pm at night when swelling is at its worse - and yet I still am so happy with my results. I have seen a lot of TT/BL pictures and thought I had an idea of what to expect, however like I said, Dr. Lennox’s TT and BL results far exceed what I was expecting and I am thrilled! I said I would post pictures because I used this site for a lot of reference - what I want to say is that pictures don’t really do the job work justice. I am excited to see the results once swelling continues to go down and scars lighten up. Updated on 21 Dec 2021: 7 week post op - I am still using silicone tape on my scars. Haven’t started working out at the gym - although fully back to all other activities. I am so happy with my results :) ……………………………………………. Updated on 29 Dec 2021: Today is 8 weeks post op drainless tummy tuck with muscle repair and breast lift with rt breast reduction. Still swollen but starting to see more abdominal definition. I had to wear my spanx over Christmas as the swelling from the extra food and sodium made my stomach feel tight and uncomfortable but now it’s feeling somewhat back to normal. I would say I’m 90% back to normal - stomach muscles still feel tight and swollen at times but not uncomfortable. I usually only notice them in the morning or when I’ve been sitting for a long time and stand up. Like other say, I just regret not doing this sooner! Redness and puckering around incision on TT is because I just pulled off the 1 inch silicone tape that I wear to help the scar heal. Without tape it it’s flat and not so red. :) I can easily cover incision with bikini bottoms and I’m so happy with the surgery so far. Updated on 6 Jan 2022: 9 weeks post-op. Feeling great. I started doing yoga and stretching this week to help with the tight muscles. Still swollen but seeing a reduction. I see my PS next week for a FU. This is my bathing suit - covers all scars. I have been applying a silicone cream to my incisions and will ask my PS next week what he suggests. I ran out of silicone tape so I’m making do with cream until I get more. I had a massage this week and was able to lay flat comfortably the whole time. My only regret is that I didn’t do this sooner. :) Updated on 8 Jan 2022: 9 weeks post-op. Feeling great. Still not cleared to do any abdominal work or heavy lifting but i can do cardio and light weights. Feeling 95% back to normal. Still notice swelling but definitely better. Clothe fit better and the ‘muffin top’ is gone in jeans. Still wearing a silicone tape over incision and really noticing a reduction in the redness from it. Updated on 18 Feb 2022: Very happy with results. I am back to working out with weights and feeling 95% back to my old self. Still to nervous to do sit up yet but will slowly incorporate. Wearing silicone tape on incisions to help them heal and a small marble my surgeon gave me to place in my belly button at night to help create a natural appearance. Updated on 16 May 2023: Best decision I ever made! Still so happy with results. This is low wasted bathing suit… you can see scar line but it is so light. Pulled up it covers it. I haven’t noticed swelling in a long time and I just wish I did this surgery sooner in life.
No matter how much exercise I did I could not get rid of my pouch, so as a treat to myself for my 50th I decided to go ahead with a tummy tuck and muscle repair. I am thrilled with the results so far (8 days post op), so nice to have my vertical scar gone! I put up with it for 20 years! I have minimal swelling and bruising, Dr Lennox did an amazing job! I have not seen my new scar yet as it is covered by the surgical dressing which will be removed in a couple of weeks, hoping for the best. The first 3 days were the most intense but still manageable, I felt pretty good by the 5th day, surprisingly I now have lots of energy so I have to remind myself to take it easy. My essential tools for my recovery were a head and leg proper (from amazon), those helped me stay in the perfect position while resting and sleeping. Laxative are also important, trust me, the sooner you take them the better. I did quite a lot of deep breathing exercises to oxygenate myself (as deep as I could, breathing from my back), made sure that I completely emptied my bladder and went for short walks or moved my leg around in bed to prevent blood clots. So grateful to my husband who was an incredible support. Thank you Toni for patiently putting up with all my questions, I was pretty nervous, I even cancelled once. It's interesting I spent so much time worrying about the anesthesia but that was the easiest part, as soon as you go to sleep, you wake up, no time passes, I was actually wondering if anything had happened, I felt no pain just some tightness around my abdomen. The team at Cambie surgical centre was very supportive especially nurse Krissy who stayed with me all day. I would be happy to answer any questions, connecting with other women on the real self helped me a lot with my decision (thanks Jen!). I will post more photos as the healing progresses. Updated on 3 Dec 2021: The surgical tape is off and I was able to see my scar for the first time, it looks nice and thin so far and it is healing well, I started putting silicone tape on it. My only disappointment is that it is higher on one side compare to the other, if think I might get a tattoo at some point to over one of the sides. I would say this is minor compare to some serious issues other people can have, so I am still very happy, my procedure was done very well overall. My belly button is still a little raw and is taking more time to heal, I hear this common since there is less blood flow to that area, I like the shape of it, I think it will end up looking quite natural. I am more swollen now compare to my last photo but I am comfortable, my energy is good, I can't wait to be able to exercise again! Updated on 11 Dec 2021: I tried on a swimsuit for fun :) Despite still been a little swollen I am very happy with the result so far. I am healing well overall and feeling good. I am now fully upright and I can go on longer walks. My only concern is still my belly button, it is healing much slower than the incision but apparently this is normal because of the lack of blood flow to the area, my surgeon assured me it would heal. Updated on 20 Feb 2022: My healing is still going well, my muscle repair has finally stop hurting, I would say that I feel pretty much recovered at this point, I am easing into more strenuous activities like CrossFit, I am careful not to overwork my abs. I am slowly regaining more feeling. My tummy is starting to look more defined and my belly button which I was worried about is healing well (I love the shape), I still have a little swelling in my lower abdomen and hips. I am still wearing silicone tape day and night. I have been wearing my girdle religiously day and night until recently, I just wear it during the day now, I like the brand from "Design by Veronique" which is sold in BC Canada by: https://nightingalemedical.ca/ The hardest for me emotionally was between 1 months and 2 months post op, I think I was experiencing some grieving for my old tummy, I understand now why it's important to be in a good emotional state before having this kind of surgery. I am super happy now that I went through it, I love my results, it was so worth it! Can't wait for summer :)
My experience with Dr Lennox was outstanding, from the initial consultation through to the final check up. The surgery far exceeded my expectations and my scar is as perfect as a scar can be. It is very low and easily hidden under bikini bottoms. This procedure has been completely transformative and I am thrilled with my results. Dr Lennox was at all times professional, warm and caring. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Lennox to anyone considering plastic surgery.
Peter Lennox did an absolutely amazing job on my revision! This is my second revision for reoccurring capsular contracture and animation deformity. I am 7 days po and so far I am very pleased with the results. Looking forward to seeing the final outcome as they settle! I originally had Allergan 495cc smooth gel, high profile, under the muscle. I now have switched to Mentor 450 filled to 500cc smooth saline, mod-plus, above the muscle.
I can’t begin to describe how ridiculously satisfied I am with Dr. Lennox and his team. Firstly, I feel like this surgeon has a better understanding of women’s bodies than some of the others I met beforehand. He really seemed to understand ‘my’ needs specifically. The consultation went extremely smoothly. He asked me what I wanted, asked me all about my lifestyle, then gave me a recommendation based on my desires. His other half, his secretary named Toni, is such a wonderful woman as well. She really walked me through every step of the way and gave me all the information I could ever need. They were both extremely responsive, polite, friendly, and to be honest they work extremely well together. On the day of the surgery, I was pretty nervous, but the entire staff at the surgery centre was beyond friendly and helpful. One of the nurses sat and chatted with me while the team set up my surgery room. The procedure itself went off without a hitch. Everything went so perfectly and smoothly. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. And the results… I think I cried tears of joy the first time I laid eyes on my new breasts. I got 470 CC’s over the muscle, silicone implants. I was expecting them to look a little funny, but they’re actually perfect! Perfectly symmetrical, nipples exactly where they’re supposed to be, and there’s barely any scarring! He used tape to hold my incisions together, so you can barely see any scaring at all, and it’s only 10 days after surgery for me. Everyone around me is so surprised by how amazing they look so soon after surgery. I’m already back to work and feeling pretty good. I stopped taking the pain meds 3 days after surgery, and there was barely any pain to begin with. All-in-all I can’t stop gushing over this surgeon. I’d recommend Dr. Lennox and his team any day of the week!
Thank you for your question. We know that as you increase implant size (over around 350cc) the complication rate goes up, and the predictability of the result goes down. Also, with large saline implants, the chances of your tissues supporting the implant in the position you want over the long term is low. Finally, increasing implant size does not lift the breast. You should get some other opinions from board certified plastic surgeons with experience in breast surgery.
Firstly, congratulations on your weight loss and your healthy lifestyle! Based on your photos, you are an good candidate for a breast lift (mastopexy). There are many different ways of doing this, and some involve using an implant or your own fat depending on your ultimate goals. A lift will elevate your nipple position, tighten the skin and elevate your breast on your chest. You should start by seeing a board certified plastic surgeon who has experience if different types of breast surgery to get an idea of what is possible for you.Good luck!
If you are happy with your current breast volume and shape, I would not recommend an operating simply to change to silicone. A Baker I capsule is essentially no capsule. If you have a specific reason to change, then silicone implants are safe from an autoimmune perspective. In terms of what specific type of silicone implant, that is a discussion you and your surgeon should have in detail to determine what is best for you.
Thank you for the question. I suspect that your implants are above the muscle. You would likely get an excellent result with removal of your implants and scar tissue and revision augmentation with new implants under the muscle. This would give you a more natural shape and your breasts would be much softer.Good luck.
The profile of the implant can also affect this. For example, lower profile implants are wider, but less projecting. If your original saline implants were higher profile, they would project more and may appear larger to you, whereas a wider low profile (higher volume) gel implant may fill your bra less.
