This Was Better Than I Could Ever Have Imagined

I am a 57 year old woman. I gained weight with 3 pregnancies and while raising my children. For every 20 pounds I lost, I gained 30 pounds back. The terrible yoyo years. After I hit menopause and realized what terrible shape I was in, I painstakingly spent 3 years losing 70 pounds the old fashioned way, I ate better and exercised a lot and every day. I lost everything but the fat roll that draped over my c-section scar and my beaten up breasts hung low (I had previously had a breast reduction in the 1980’s and I had scarred very badly).

After talking to a friend who had an abdominoplasty I was intrigued and contacted her surgeon, Dr Peter Lennox, for a consult. Between Toni, the amazing woman that takes care of everything, and Dr Lennox, I felt comfortable and made the fully informed decision to have a full frontal makeover. Dr Lennox was kind, patient, and answered all my questions.

On November 18, 2024, Dr Lennox performed an abdominoplasty with liposuction and a breast lift, and he also took out all my horrible old scaring and left me with a clean incision that is already fading. I followed all the rules before surgery, didn’t drink for 2 months prior, stayed hydrated, walked, etc., and had a fairly easy recovery. It’s a painful 10 days but it goes by quickly. My follow up appointments were great. Dr Lennox is easy to talk to and has a good sense of humor. Have I mentioned the Amazing Toni, she never fails to make you feel comfortable.

This has been such a great experience for me. I would never have lost the roll with diet and exercise and now I’m sporting a faint 6 pack (I do a lot of Pilates, which is so much easier now without the jelly roll). This surgery has been life changing for me and I am so thankful for Dr Lennox and Toni for helping me make this happen.

Now I wish I needed another surgery just to go back to see them both.
