Dr. Donath was recommended by a friend and within minutes of meeting him I knew I’d found “my doctor”. He is very professional, but also funny and relaxed. From the start he set very realistic expectations and had even my mother at ease about both the procedure and the results. From start to finish my experience was excellent. His staff is lovely and both his office and the medical facility where he performed my surgery was clean, comfortable and well staffed with amazing people. I highly recommend Dr. Donath! One of the best things about my experience is that he really had my best interest at heart. He was honest in saying “I’m not the guy who’s going to give you enormous breasts that make you look ridiculous.” If he’d let me chose my implant size, I probably would have gone at least a full cup larger. I kind of fought him on it, even waking up from my surgery I looked down and exclaimed “where are they?!” But in just a few short months I’d fall in LOVE with the size and they really are the most appropriate choice for my body.

Excellent. Dr. Donath is kind and explains in detail what he will be doing during the procedure. I had my neck muscles under my chin tightened as well as a facelift. He has a wonderful bedside manner.

Dr. Gary Donath has the best bed-side manner on the Central Coast; he is easy to talk to and always willing to explain the confusing. Dr. Donath made me feel understood; like I had a teammate in my endeavor to recapture the fullness of my breasts without looking over done. He listened to what I wanted and didn't impose his aesthetic on mine. The result was complete satisfaction with the final outcome of my breast augmentation. You might think having your breast scrutinized by a professional would be strange or uncomfortable, but Dr. Donath is a professional and he always utilizes a female nurse practitioner during the consultations to put the client at ease. I am a 32 year old mom of two. I always wanted breast augmentation but waited to get consultations until I was finished breastfeeding and having children. I had two consultations and my husband and I both knew Dr. D was the one for us. Every question and concern I had was addressed and I felt very well taken care of. I was set to put my deposit down when we found out that Sientra was went off the market. I was devastated. It was hard to try to decide whether to go with a different brand or wait to see if Sientra would be released again. I was so set on Sientra that I knew in the long term if I didn't wait just a little longer for Sientra I would be bummed in the long run. But 3 months feels like so long to wait when you've finally worked up the courage to commit to surgery! My wait was well worth it and my Sientra implants are perfect. I healed very well and Dr. D and his staff took great care of me. I highly recommend Dr. D!! My results are so natural and the perfect size and shape.

I tried to have children in my twenties and I last two pregnancies. I figure I've lived long enough now that I know I'm not having children so I'm focusing on my future without that possibility. I have always (since childhood) carried a load of fat in my mid-section even when I was running and going to aerobics as a lifestyle. Even as a child my mean Big Brother called me Jabba the Hutt and told me there were ditches because I laid on the ground (and many other mean things consistently for many years until my self-esteem was beaten to a pulp) so I am sure there's some mental scars there. Anyway, I eat very good. I can eat too much sometimes but no binging style eating and no fast food, candy, cookies, donuts...to explain how disciplined I am. My fat rolls are the type of fat that pushes up my boobs when I sit down. I always wear frumpy clothes to hide the rolls. I won't even tuck my shirt in even if it's encouraged for a company photo. I work in a professional office setting and I feel that my insecurities with a lot of professional outfits that keeps me from wearing them would be hurting my career growth. That probably sounds silly but I just look at my competition and it is a characteristic that sets us apart. When I starved myself to my lowest weight 10 years ago, my face arms and legs were skeletal and my hip bones stuck out and my ribs showed yet the shape of those fat rolls always remained just in a smaller version. That was incredibly frustrating. I could not get rid of them even if I worked out 2 to 4 hours a day. Sorry, I have a life and I'm not going to do that. So after many years of dreaming, I finally realized I don't have to be a celebrity to give myself this tummy tuck gift and my husband is very supportive. People are living longer these days we might as well make ourselves during the roller coaster ride. Yesterday at 1 Day post op I had some rough spots in my fresh recovery and I even threw up a little bit so that was a bummer. Here I am today, two days post-op and happy and spunky in a way; today I washed my hair in the kitchen sink and took the dogs for a very slow walk for about a mile. I have had enough surgeries (including back surgery and a breast reduction) to know that this kind of recovery isn't possible without a skilled surgeon. Yesterday I went in for my first day-after post-op appointment and the Doc took off my garment so I got to look at my pretty, smaller tummy for the first time. I like my whole self a little more for the first time possibly ever...fresh wounds, bandages and all. My shape is smooth...no more "lady lumps" as my husband affectionately called them. I took before pictures the day before the deed and when I get a chance to get after pics I will post some to share.

I have always had small breasts, but after breastfeeding two children for over a year each, my breasts were non existent. I never liked the way that clothes fit on my chest and felt that my body was out of proportion. After implants I am so happy with the results and getting dressed is so much fun!

On my 59th birthday I was diagnosed with stage 3+ invasive lobular breast cancer which was followed by a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction. Dr. Donath has walked every step with me - the initial surgery and placement of expanders, extensive post-op, chemo, radiation, final implant surgery and the continuing follow-up. Now, at 60 and 1 year after the surgery, I continue to be happy with the results of his expertise and truly appreciate his compassion along this difficult journey.

I'm very happy with Dr. donath he did a great job on my breast implants. I had Seline implants and was having problems with ripples and dicided to see dr Garry and Made my decision to change to gel implants the best decition I ever made.. I highly recommend them. He is my surgeon doctor and to all my friends and family. he also does my Botox and family and friends as well and we are very pleased to get everything done with him he is my number one in San Luis obispo

One of my eyebrows was higher than the other. Dr. Donath injected botox above my right eyebrow as well as along my lower forehead. It corrected the raised brow and kept my forehead from wrinkling too with excellent results. He did a super job! His staff has always been caring and courteous. The wait times have always been to a minimum to see the doctor. Very pleasant experience.
