I look so much younger, no more neck “gobble” or jowls. Dr. Jacobs is an artist and an expert. He only does faces and he’s excellent at it. My face looks smooth and completely natural. People are constantly stunned when they find out my true age. If you’re thinking about getting a face lift, I highly recommend this doctor.

I have had Mini Lifts before, as the years go by you continue to loose elasticity. The last one I had was with an MD in Stanford and it was a mid-face lift. Did nothing and he told me nothing could be done. Well a few years passed and through a friend, I decided to go to Dr. Stanley Jacob's lectures. I was impressed at his dedication to understanding new techniques and advancing his expertise and genuine interests in the patients concerns. I set an appointment to chat, and when all my questions were satisfied, I booked a date for surgery. I was amazed at the results, the best I have ever had. I had a few days down time, but the surgery was so clean it healed flawlessly and after a month you could not see any scaring around my ears. The whole thing was done at his office where he has a complete operating theater. Took a few weeks for all the sutures to fall away and now I am me again! Thank you Dr. Jacobs, you are the best!

Dr. Jacobs first did a basic facelift, including an eye lid procedure. He lifted my brow, and lifted my cheeks, and this alone took 10 years off my looks. Then, a year later, Dr. Jacobs inserted a chin implant and narrowed my nose. You would think that I would be unrecognizable. But I am just a younger, better looking version of myself.

Hello, Looking forward to my procedure on April 21st..didn't realize when scheduling that I scheduled on my birthday..I guess a rebirth on my birthday ????. April 9th Pre-op with nurse and Dr. Stanley Jacobs. If anyone has any info I should ask at my pre-op please let me know.. I'm 48 years old and realizing that there is a shift in my appearance. Even thou it's subtle I look in the mirror and see the changes and I'm at the best age to have the mini lift procedure done and hopefully it will give me significant time 7-8 years of looking good that by the time I'm 57 I'll age gracefully. Updated on 9 Apr 2015: Today I go in for my Pre-op appointment to go over all the info needed for surgery and recovery. I will be meeting with Dr. Jacobs nurse for the first hour of explanation then with Dr. Jacobs to go over surgery. Updated on 10 Apr 2015: Pre-op went very well, a bit overwhelming but very informative..brought a friend with me so there were more ears to listen. Many things to read. Prescriptions to fill. Had a EKG, vitals. Had the elasticity measured in my skin. Met with Dr Jacobs to go over an questions. Surgery will take aproximately 2 hours, under twighlight sedation. The great thing is for one year Dr. Jacobs will monitor my skin, and included in my package I will have 3 mini peels, micro dermabrasion and all skincare line. I'm getting nervous but know I'll be extremely happy with the outcome. The photo I've included is from their office. Updated on 17 Apr 2015: Hi all, Started Arnica and Bromelain today..picking up prescriptions tomorrow..this is beginning to feel real by the day..any last minute details you care to share please do! Updated on 21 Apr 2015: Surgery day - arrived at appointment was given a Valium to relax, went over any last minute questions with Dr Jacobs and anesthesiologist. Changed into gown and socks.. Off I went to surgery. My face was covered in a numbing cream prior to laying down. IV put in and off to sleep I went. Woke up with no side effects from anesthesia..sat up just fine, head wrap with ice packs was put on. Walked to recovery room. Listened to nurse for last minute recovery do's and dont's. Put into wheelchair, wheeled out to car and on my way home. Set up bed with a wedge memory foam and pillows under legs and on each side..a little discomfort so far but took a tramadol and definitely takes the edge off. Ice packs changed out every couple hours for swelling. Blotting upper lip for any discharge then apply aquaphor..keeping face very moist! Tightness in face but that's to be expected..I'm told around 2-3am will be my most uncomfortable time the nurse said. So may need Valium and a tramadol if needed. Drinking lots of water, apple juice and squeeze apple sauce (children's squeeze punches) they work great! A little sore throat apparently that's caused by the oxygen flow but will subside in a day. Trying to keep talking to a minimum..I have another appointment tomorrow at 9 am for a bandage change and will get another picture..now just need to rest, rest,rest!!! Updated on 22 Apr 2015: Slept pretty well, some swelling and pressure..making sure ice packs applied every couple hours to reduce swelling. Drinking lots of water and apple juice. Went for dressing change. Incisions look good no bleeding not much pain. A little bit of brising but nothing significant. Must continue ice packs till tomorrow. Start medications today - prednisone and chephalaxion for the next 4 days. Continuing aquaphor..dabbing upper lip area that natuarally is weeping then apply sheen of Aquaphor. Overall feeling pretty good. Will try and eat some scrambled eggs for protein and need solid food in belly for meds. Tomorrow will be a shower and bandages off, also aware that there wil be some hair loss to not be alarmed.. Updated on 23 Apr 2015: Finally able to shower, never felt so good..incisions look good, quite a bit of numbness and a bit if brusing but overall feel ok..peel has started especially my lips, very annoying the way it's peeling on the inside of the lip first. Ear lobs I have probably the most discomfort and side of neck area. Taking meds and drinking lots of fluids..photos today of side views Updated on 24 Apr 2015: Feeling pretty good, still lots of swelling, peel is pretty tight. Keeping skin hydrated with aquaphor. Keeping movements to a minimum with talking. Ears are the most sore at this point. Lots of numbness. Incisions look good..have been showering twice a day with cetaphil on incisions and making sure dry after..posting pics of today Updated on 24 Apr 2015: Finally seeing some peeling, was beginning to wonder but reading others comments the mouth area is the first to start..here's a pic Updated on 25 Apr 2015: Boy I never thought it would begin, but it's happening..beautiful skin underneath, who knew it was hidden under all those freckles! Swelling continues to subside, ear areas still quite tender but tolerable..once the peel is finished that tightness will be gone I feel..here's a pick today of TCA peel Updated on 27 Apr 2015: Well most of my old face has peeled off! Beautiful skin underneath! Still swollen and brushing but expected. Neck area is creepy and wrinkling, some peeling but slow going which also is expected. Still feeling some pain in my ear area..I'm finding that if I'm not sitting up I find I get more pain I'm assuming due to swelling. It feels like when you've slept on your ear wrong and wake up with that pain from it being bent over..cleaning behind the ear is quite challenging I have to say..it's hard to get a mirror at the right angle to be able to see back there..plus I can't wear my glasses so it's even harder to see..I ask my husband to check if all clear. :0) Stich removal today, I'm told to take a pain pill before I come, so definitely will. I'm starting to look more like myself, I was getting worried I'd remain like the cat women forever. : ~\ I've not experienced any waves of sadness or depression like some I've heard..I've been pretty upbeat and positive and can't wait till I'm completely healed, which I know takes quite some time..but I'm completely satisfied with what I'm seeing so far..even if your on the fence about doing a mini lift, a TCA peel will show amazing results if your looking for just a fresh rejuvenated look. Updated on 28 Apr 2015: 7 days post op, still peeling chest and neck area..lip dermabrasion is doing its thing..cheeks swollen and tight but every day I see more and more I love Updated on 16 May 2015: Getting better and better by the day..some numbing still in front of ear on both sides..still a bit of discomfort along jawline/cheek area..waiting for the annoying dissolving stitches to dissolve..I'm very satisfied with my outcome.. Updated on 4 Jun 2015: It's been 6 weeks since my procedure and everything going great, healing quickly..a tad of swelling under chin and cheeks a bit..numbness still on each cheek area but subsiding..Incisions all healed and scars looking good..putting vitamin E oil on every night..every once in awhile a twinge of pain I'm sure nerve related..very pleased with results..had a little breakout on chin area from peel but that's to be expected..using Dr. Jacobs moisturizer and a tinted broad spectrum moisturizer and bare minerals foundation.. Updated on 22 Feb 2016: Well time has flown, I can't believe it's coming up in April that I had my procedure one year..so far I've been very happy with my progress..everything looks as it should and I'm glad that I had it done when I did..that being said..know one noticed..which is what I wanted..they may have but we're not sure..no scarring that's noticeable. I have one small little scar buildup behind my right lobe but we will address that at my recheck in March, probably just a cortisone injection to make it go down. The TSA peel is holding up well, I am having a couple spots taken care of at my appointment also. Dermabrasion on upper lip seems to have helped the scaring I had from a dog bite when I was younger..I may have the one side done again a little closer to my lip line like the opposite side..the lift feels nice and tight and neck line is great. Over all good. Needed a friend the first nite. Hetta peel around mouth was another 900 and I don't see a difference. TCA peel good worthwhile . Three weeks later my eyes r still recovering. They are uneven but I'm hoping for the best. Pain is minimal. No doctor wants to hear your complaints so I'll wait 3mos Updated on 30 Dec 2013: My eyes are better than before the surgury, but I would of liked them to recover a little better. My R eye has a bump in the corner, and it feels like a small amount of tissue and my left eye has a hood still. Am I expecting too much. Glad I did the peel. IT was all top dollar and by the best, so my expectations are high. Updated on 30 Dec 2013: Updated on 14 Jan 2014: I really am happy I did this. I was picky at first but now I'm really happy. People often report how much better I look . It's worth every penny.

I went to Dr. Sina Bari & Dr. Stanley Jacobs and am thoroughly impressed with their care and most importantly..MY AMAZING RESULTS! I had been all around the Bay Area and even went to the Los Angeles area looking for the right docs for my breast augmentation, liposuction and nose job aka rhinoplasty...these guys are the most caring, passionate and intelligent docs I've met so far. I felt like I was part of the family. I had a million questions and fears regarding these procedures but was completely at ease after my consult and they seem to be the most affordable in the Bay Area too! LOVE! Its been 4 months since my surgeries and I look and feel amazing. I had wanted this mommy makeover for years and finally was able to feel comfortable enough to make the decision. NO REGRETS! Their office staff was incredibly friendly and loving. The Nurses were outstanding and compassionate. I have referred my mother to their practice for a lower facelift and arm lift and she is also extremely pleased with her results. I highly recommend these guys! The best plastic surgeons in California!!!!!!!!!

Only the worst of Dr's would force a patient to undergo surgery during a natural disaster. It was September 1, 2020, during the extreme fires that engulfed Healdsburg all the way to the ocean. Everything West of 101 was mandatory evacuation. His office is 1 block East of 101 was in an EVACUATION WARNING. Meaning you had to be ready to drop everything and get out at a moment's notice. I had already paid-in-full. When the Evacuation Warning went up on the CalFire map, I called the office and was told I would lose the entire amount if I did not come to have the procedure, even during the Evacuation Warning phase. No delays/ No reschedule. Come to Healdsburg or lose it all. I went under duress and drove from Sacramento through the smoke, the evacuations, delays, etc. A harrowing journey. The next morning, I was put under full sedation and Dr. Jacobs raced through the procedure. He did a sloppy job and took my money. My neck fell within 5 weeks, and stretched my earlobes into Pixie ears. The sutures look like he used a fish hook. My lip lift/smile is crooked, and now 4 years later, the left side of my face has fallen. Within 5 weeks of the procedure I had Pixie ears, a Cobra neck, a crooked smile and a weird fold on the left cheek that is uneven with the right cheek. The white scars are very visible. I need a revision. Shame on you, Dr. Jacobs for a man of your talent to do this to me. I hope the $$ was worth it Dr. Jacobs. Never trust this man. Buyer Beware!

In this review, I will share my direct experience & opinions, as is my confidential right as a patient, in the hopes that it might help others in choosing the best doctor for facial plastic surgery. The biggest mistake of my life was having surgery with Dr. Jacobs. He is the worst surgeon, in fact the worst doctor, I have ever encountered. I wound up with a botched nose visually and functionally. Before surgery I was a confident, successful person in the prime of life. I had no functional problems with my nose and enjoyed top health. When he was done with me, my looks and ability to work or fully enjoy life were markedly diminished. I met him for something unrelated to rhinoplasty, but he brought up my nose (red flag). He proposed surgery to improve it but not change my overall look. Having had positive experiences in the past with other doctors, I trusted him. Dr. Jacobs initially comes across as nice and was admittedly quite good at creating a convincing computer morph. I learned the hard way that those factors are nowhere near enough when choosing a surgeon to operate on your face. The outcome of trusting him was disastrous. My experience with Dr. Jacobs taught me that untalented surgeons do exist. I believe he lacks the skills and artistic eye needed to deliver quality results. My nose was left disfigured requiring a full revision by another surgeon. It has cost me more than double what I paid Dr. Jacobs including over a year of lost income & other ongoing damages. My career has suffered immensely. Photoshop/filters can only hide so much. I will never look as attractive as before; my best hope is to look less deformed and at least function normally. What Dr. Jacobs did to my nose bore no resemblance to the morph, and in fact “leveled down” my looks so badly that friends, colleagues & loved ones repeatedly expressed concern over what was done to me. Some of the serious issues his surgery left me with include: -Permanent visible crater/dent on nose tip -Crooked, badly grafted cartilage sticking out in various locations -Widened/bulbous ugly nose on frontal view -Semi-paralyzed upper lip -Persistent dripping/runny nose -Overly-reduced/deformed nostrils -Bumpy bridge; didn’t smooth bones as proposed -Pollybeak deformity In sum, he turned my nose into a nightmare. I repeatedly tried to get complete answers from Dr. Jacobs often to no avail, which in turn forced me to have to repeat myself. He then chastised me for the number of emails exchanged (even mere pleasantries; he literally went through and counted emails) and said if I was so unhappy with his work then I should go talk to a psychiatrist, which is flatly outrageous. He seems adept at denial and deflection. Never have I experienced such egregious, unprofessional conduct as with this doctor. The best way I can describe his behavior is that he seems to carefully protect himself from liability. Rather than admit and take responsibility for the objectively obvious failures of his work, he was embarrassingly self-congratulatory, to the extent that he claimed he “knocked it out of the park.” Meanwhile, friends suggested I go on the show “Botched.” I am left wondering if Dr. Jacobs meant he knocked the ball out of the park, and into my face, perhaps. Once I requested & received my records, I never heard from them again. All the “we are here for you” niceties vanished once it was clear I was unhappy with his work. The overall conduct again smacked of liability avoidance rather than quality patient care. I began seeking professional opinions from other surgeons, including a world renowned rhinoplasty expert who immediately recognized numerous problems & informed me a full revision surgery was needed. Another red flag was the lack of truly excellent photo examples of the specific procedure Dr. Jacobs proposed. He’s pitching the surgery, he should be able to provide abundant proof of his abilities. He had some from limited angles that didn’t show much detail but seemed ok to me at the time due to my naivete. However, one disturbing example haunts me: It was of a patient whose results were so bad that I thought he ruined her face. I’d even shown it to a friend & we both noted how bad it was. Right then I should have declined surgery. But his staff said that patient wanted that look, so I unwisely dismissed it. Before/after photos, very clear ones of all angles, need to show many, many consistently stellar examples of what the doctor is proposing. If they can’t, or they make excuses of any kind for not having them, run. Great surgeons can and do provide this easily. I’ve also since learned that Dr. Jacobs is not a member of the gold standard in plastic surgery, The American Board of Plastic Surgery. Rather than rely solely on my words, I will include some photos to the best of my ability while protecting my privacy. If this is what Dr. Jacobs considers "knocking it out of the park” for rhinoplasty, what might he do to your face?

Just had consult 2 and scheduled for Feb 14th. Doc is a well known facial plastic surgeon and has done over 2,500 noses so I am confident in his results. Saw him 7 years ago for a consult and chickened out so excited to go through with it this time. I'm going for a very natural look and certainly don't want a cute tiny, sloped nose. I want it a bit thinner from bridge to tip and have it smoothed out so my profile and 3/4 view is nice and straight, not sloped.

I am not new to Plastic surgery. I am a mother of eight. I had a mommy makeover 2013, lipo of arms and thighs March 2020.I would like a slimmer less bulbous nose as well as a smaller philtrum. I am worried because the PS i chose seems conservative with his lip lifts . I will share a photo of my dream lip lift and my dream nose. . Sometimes I look at other sisters I feel like the nose is too small for the face like the surgeon took off too much nose.Updated on 18 Aug 2020: One thing I’m super worried about is my nine-month-old I’m scared he will rip my cast off my face and pull on my lip and alter my results during the healing process.So hard to juggle everything not to mention the fact that schools are closed due to corona and I have several children at home that I’m trying to help with distance learning also have two jobs to boot. i’m lucky my husband is super helpful but at the end of the day most of the cooking and cleaning and diaper changing falls on my shoulders. I have a funny joke though I tell my friends that’s OK I can change his diapers all the way to the bank!!!!! Updated on 25 Aug 2020: So I got a call last night saying are we ready for surgery tomorrow and it completely took me by surprise first of all I thought it was on the 26th not the 25th and second of all with all the California wildfires up in Sonoma County I had assumed it was canceled while I was wrong. They had previously booked me a complementary stay at a hotel up there but while driving up there the smoke was so bad I decided against it and we came back home after surgery surgery was fast woke up with a little pain not too bad but then later on it felt like my teeth were kind of sore and my eyes were heavy. By the way guys there’s gonna be a lot of typos that’s just the way it goes because I’m using voice Typing. OK so right now I have extremely black eyes they’re so puffy he told me that he moved my nasal bones in word and reshape the tip and gave me a little more definition less bulbous I’m worried it looks a little too pinched but we shall see. As for the lift lift I’m not sure how it will turn out either I’m trying to think positively I’m reading other peoples reviews but it seems like a lot of people are impatient about the healing process and a lot are even unhappy I hope I’m on the lucky ones the doctor was super nice and had a really nice surgery center.Updated on 26 Aug 2020: The downfall about getting rhinoplasty along with a lift lift lift is that all of the drippings of blood from the rhinoplasty seem to drift down and settle in the lip lift scar in the danger of scrubbing the old blood away could disrupt and damage the stitches so it’s quite the conundrum.Updated on 29 Aug 2020: The area under my columnella and above the lip lift scar appears as if its unstable.... and will not heal correctly and are fused with the rest of the columnella skinUpdated on 1 Sep 2020: Stitches too. I have seriously black eyes I guess since he broke the bone to make a little more narrow. Husband is teasing me say it looks like I’m gonna have a white girl nose super nervous.
