I was feeling a little bit of the birthday blues and decided to get a little enhancement to cheer me up. I was recommended to Dr Yamini by a friend, best decision of the year. Dr Yamini gave me a a sprinkle of Botox to reduce my forehead lines, fine lines around my eyes and the wrinkles between my eyes. The result was stunning, subtle, youthful, and bright without looking or feeling tight or expressionless.
Dr Yamini came to my rescue by dissolving my overfilled face done by another practitioner. He was honest, professional, kind and made me feel confident that I was in good hands. I was very happy with the results. He also did an excellent job with my botox!
I have had the most delightful experience with Dr. Yamini. He is extremely competent, caring, diligent and intelligent. Hi staff and him are consistently on top of their game. I had breast augmentation with him about 8 years ago and have been so pleased with the result that I have referred many friends to him, all of which have thanked me for the introduction. Not only has my life changed for the better since my procedure, I have recently given birth to a beautiful baby boy and have been successfully breastfeeding him for the past 4 months! To have beautiful breasts and a well established nursing routine with my son to me means all my dreams have now came true!
After years of consideration I finally found a doctor I trusted and felt saw my vision. I wanted subtle natural looking results. I already had a bubble butt, but wanted to round out the sides and create more hips. This is exactly what my doctor did. Hopefully results will last as its only been 3 weeks. I'm hopeful they will. In hindsight I wish I would e done my arms too. But I was scared and didn't know how skilled my doctor was. Lipo areas there are NO lumps bumps or dents.. My skin is so smooth and I also had barely any bruising. Can't wait to see final results of lipo after swelling goes down.
I lost close to 65 pounds and found myself with a lot of unwanted, loose skin. Even when I held in my stomach, my lower abdomen was large, flabby, and pronounced. I found Dr. Yamini by researching the surgeon who revised Tara Reid's botched surgeries. Dr. Yamini's partner was the brilliant surgeon who did those revisions, but while on their website I found I preferred Dr. Yamini's aesthetic. I scheduled a consult with Colleen (a lovely lady; all of his staff- Liz, Daniella- are fantastic). When I met with the doctor, I felt very comfortable. My only critique is that he will probably not tell you you don't need a procedure, but rather trust that you know what you want and tell you how to make it work. This is perfect for a patient who is certain about what s/he wants, but it's a little difficult if you're on the fence about a procedure. I scheduled the abdominoplasty with liposuction of the flanks, medial thighs, and knees for a few months later after being given plenty of no pressure time to think about it. Surgery: On the day of the surgery I had a rough start because the surgery center that was used (NOT Dr. Yamini's staff) opened late, and the nurse (Mary) complained, while I was changing into my surgical gowns in the bathroom, to the other nurse that I was waiting for her when she pulled up. When I came out and told her that I wanted to be on time since I was told I'd be charged $350 for every 30 minutes I was late, she did not apologize for complaining about me within earshot. Later, the unprofessional nurse then took my medical history. When I told her I had an orthodontic jaw surgery in my teens and still had screws in my jaw she proceeded to tell me that she thought my face was a little off and was wondering why it looked asymmetric. When I started to tear up at being told my face was obviously asymmetric and that I looked off, she said "Ooh, girl. Why are you crying? I didn't realize you were so sensitive." Really, Mary? You didn't realize a person about to face the risks of general anesthesia and pay $15,000 to alter her appearance was a wee bit sensitive about her appearance! Besides, once again, this is another example of her unprofessionalism. I'd like to believe that if Dr. Yamini had control, he would not allow such a person on his staff. Thankfully Dr. Yamini and his fantastic anesthesiologist showed right when I was about to walk out. Dr. Yamini marked me with supreme precision- he even brought a laser level! The anesthesiologist hooked me up to an IV- while Mary complained in the background- and the next thing I know I'm waking up and being asked to cough- not fun after abdominal surgery. I was then wheeled out to my car, although the wheelchair lift was broken (ADA violation, btw) so I had to walk up some stairs. No surprise Mary was hurrying me to walk faster. Recovery: Ironically the most painful thing was the insertion point for the pain pump. It stung like a melon farmer! I suggest you get some ice packs ready; that's the only thing that worked for that pain. Otherwise the pain was very manageable. My mom said the liposuction would hurt the worst, from her experience, but it was all totally doable- not pleasant, but I could handle it! Dr. Yamini is not an operate and see ya kind of surgeon. His follow ups were, if anything, too frequent (all I wanted to do was sleep). He drained my seroma (very common), changed my tape, gave me binders and silicone tape, and handled everything wonderfully! Oh, and if you get this done, sleep in a recliner for the first few nights. Unfortunately I learned this after three days of trying to climb in and out of bed. Also, put a cane, or I used a trekking pole, by the toilet to help you up and down those first few days. My surgery was December 18, 2014, and I was back at work (supine seated position mostly) the first Monday in January. I was super tired for the first two months after surgery. It's now three months and a week post-op and I LOVE the way I look in a bikini and show off my tummy and cute, new belly button every chance I get! It was amazing getting to show off my new form to my ex, who hadn't seen me since before my weight loss. My belly button is natural looking, too! I'd do it all again in a heartbeat, and if I ever need more work done Dr. Yamini is my go to! Updated on 1 Apr 2015: By the way, my current profile picture (turquoise sports bra) is a before picture of my results. I will post current pictures of Dr. Yamini' fantastic work soon. Updated on 1 Apr 2015: Sadly there is no cure for cellulite. I am planning more liposuction of my thighs as they are still incongruous with the rest of my body- thanks, grandma, for those genes! Updated on 1 Apr 2015: Updated on 1 Apr 2015: The image on the left show me 65 pounds heavier. On the right, my body after hard work on my part, and beautiful work on Dr. Yamini's part.
Quick and easy. Had Botox done twice, 3 months apart for my masseter muscles to relieve my jaw clenching and to reduce the aesthetic of my jawline. First time 8 units to both sides at $12/unit. Second time, 10 units per side which cost a total of $240 ($12/unit) however $40 off due to Brilliant Distinctions program (yay!). I can say it has successfully relieved my jaw clenching issues. As for my jaw reduction, I think it has worked but hard to say 100% because I have lost quite a bit of weight (10 lbs) during my course of Botox. Overall I would recommend but make sure you see someone comfortable and experienced in this procedure. Updated on 27 Dec 2014: Added a photo during second Botox treatment. Updated on 29 Dec 2014: Updated on 8 Mar 2015: I look "better" in my photos and no jaw clenching! Updated on 6 Apr 2015: I will be getting more botox next week to keep up with reducing my jaw clenching. I originally did it for aesthetic reasons, however now I know the true value of it as it has also helped medically. Updated on 15 Aug 2015: I had been getting it every 3 months and have let several more months lapse due to being busy with life. My teeth grinding is definitely back, I'm sure the stress doesn't help. I look forward to getting more Botox :)
After debating for years I went on a journey looking for a ultra skilled cosmetic surgeon, I found it in dan yamini, he was honest, caring and he knew what he was doing, he did a amazing job on my chin and also completely removing my double chin. I also had buccal fat removed which really made a amazing difference. I healed very quickly, dr yamini was in contact with me to make sure everything was OK and I was happy. I recommend Dr yamini 1000%
I will like to take some well needed time for my surgeon Dr. Yamini from Sunset Cosmetic Surgery. First of all I will like to thank Dr. Yamini for recently had done my liposuction along w/ my Brazilian butt lift. I will get into details on a bit but first I will like to explain how I stated planing for this. It took me one year to find my Surgeon. I went to so many surgeon and none of them made me feel as wright as Dr.Yamini did. Dr. Yamini made me feel so comftable, he took his time to listen to what I really wanted and gave me his opinion on what I should do. My first consultation with him just went so good I came out so excited and motivated. I walked in to Dr. Yasmin's office at weight 220lb I asked to thin my mid section give me a figure witch I did not have at all, and fat transfer to my butt, he recommended me to loose weight so that I can have the results I wanted, He motivated me, it only took me 4 months to loose almost 50lb witch really made a big diference on my appearance. I could have had it done all at once to any other Dr. But Dr. Yamini did recomend to do one first then other for better results. And let me tell you! It's been not even a week that ivd had my lipo w/ Brazilian butt lift and im happy. I do not regret having this done at all. Ivd seen him twice already since my surgery keeping in mind it has not been a week yet!. Who doesn't like to have a surgeon that cares about you! :).. His job was done so neatly I'm more than happy. I am not bruise at all! My incisions where made so small it's nothing. I could already see my figure witch I love bc it's very noticeable yayyyy!!! And my butt is just beautiful it has that natural look it just looks good! :) I'm still a lil swollen because fluids do take time to go down but I'm doing just great and loving it!. The pain was not bad at all I was fine I did not need pain medication at all. So to all my females planing to have a cosmetic surgery I truly highly recomend Dr. Yamini he is one of the best surgeons there is :). I will keep you updated bc I will defenetly have my tummy tuck next! Oh and plz don't be scared I watched youtube videos I search to see how painful it was I did it all and my experience is beyond diferent than what I ever saw, heard, or even read from articles..
I felt really good...working out a lot, eating right..all the good stuff. But I still looked tired. I knew I was due for Botox, but thought I'd ask Dr. Yamini what else I. Old do that didn't involve surgery. He suggested Juvaderm under my eyes, and I loved it. He didn't do too much, but after a week, I thought augmenting it would be a good idea. He suggested Voluma, and I am thrilled with the results.
This may be a little premature to review but I just had 1 syringe of juvederm injected in my tear trough/ upper cheeks and I am ecstatic with the result. I've been contemplating doing this for over a year, for fear of bruising or damaging worse such a delicate area. I instantly looked 5 years younger walking out the door. I can't stop staring in the mirror! The result is very natural but nice. The dr even corrected some asymmetry in my cheeks. Just hope no bruises appear because I'm not telling anyone what I did.
