Just had my upper bleph with Dr Erb in April. From the moment I met Dr Erb, I knew she was the one. I didn't even bother considering other surgeons. The whole experience was amazing, Dr Erb really understood what my goals were. My main concerns were just tired looking eyes, and my results came out so natural but also made a huge difference! Dr Erb, Gina, and Anika were so awesome throughout the whole process. They were always there, provided super clear instructions and care, and made me feel so much at ease throughout the whole process. I had zero complications, discomfort, and no pain whatsoever. If you're on the fence, just at least make a consult with Dr Erb. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Like her other patients, I wish I had my eyelid procedure sooner! My experience with the surgery and the outcome was first-rate. Dr. Erb and staff are very professional and caring. Surgery was easy and healing swift. Best money I've ever spent on a procedure! Highly recommend.

Just wanted to post this journey im on as I was on the other end reading everyone’s experiences with eyelid surgery which was very helpful to me. I decided to get the procedure due to hereditary hooding. My recovery was slow as I did get major swelling (but no bruising). I took 2 weeks off work which was necessary in my case. Attached are photos from Day 1 til now(6 weeks post op) and so far so good. I still have residual swelling on my lids but not too bad. Waiting patiently for the final results. I plan to post updates in the future. Updated on 9 Jun 2024: Here are pics at about 2.5 months. One is with makeup one pic is without. So far so good, things are settling in well and no issues. The scars are there but faint. I’m still using scar gel every night. Updated on 5 Jul 2024: My experience with Dr Erb has been positive. I had pretty hooded lids and wanted to be able to wear liner and eye makeup that shows.She listens and takes the time to analyze the best way to achieve results based on your wants and also what would look best on you. I highly recommend her for eyelid surgery. Updated on 9 Aug 2024: Last update: this is at 4 1/2 months. Before and After pic. Very little visible scar and residual swelling has already resolved. Dr. Erb is an artist with a medical degree! I selected Dr. Erb after consulting with two other doctors and I am so thankful I did. Dr. Erb is a true perfectionist in every possible way. I knew this the moment I completed her thorough intake questionnaire. Each and every question is thoughtful and deliberate, and she actually reads all of the answers and provides personalized care based upon the patient’s unique needs. I am a member of a blepharoplasty Facebook group and I constantly see posts of patients having gone through procedures only to have their doctor seemingly disappear right after their procedure, or they are set post-op appointments six months out, left to post their medical questions in a Facebook group, hoping someone has the answer. I cannot stress enough that this is NOT what you will get with Dr. Erb. I was in constant contact with her from the day of my surgery, at which time she provided her personal cell phone number, all the way to now, nine months post-op. Any questions, concerns, comments, worries, you name it…she and her staff are there to assist me. I have always felt that Dr. Erb was deeply committed to my care. She listened to me, communicated with me, and provided me with quality care, not to mention I am absolutely THRILLED with my results. This procedure was one of the best things I have ever done for myself and Dr. Erb was unequivocally the best oculoplastic surgeon for the job.

Extremely happy with my results. Dr. Melanie Ho Erb is an extremely talented Surgeon! Wow! A brief background on my eyes. I have congenital ptosis on my right eye (or had?) and acquired ptosis on my left. I have consulted with many top surgeons in different areas in regards to my eyes and was turned down quite a bit as “they stated my eye is too difficult” Since, “it appeared “ I had slight ptosis. Doctors did not want to take the risk, I found it even harder to find someone for a “redo”. Prior I had found a Doctor that did perform it looked okay for a couple of months but by third month it failed, she then re did it within the first 6 months looked like it was going to work but failed again. Very disappointing on top of it was left with a fold over scar. I was going to just accept it as it is and try not to think about it anymore. But after a year and two and so forth it just kept bothering me. I search again and was turned down until I found Dr. Melanie :) Dr. Melanie explained everything thoroughly and all the bad and positive possibilities, super knowledgable and I seriously thought she was going to turn me down too but…..she said it can be done! :) :) :) We made the decision to do one eye at a time although I did have the option to do both at the same time but from my history we thought this was the way for best results. Since congenital ptosis is extremely tricky I wanted to guarantee the best results. Immediately after my right eye ptosis surgery was performed I can completely tell the difference even with the swelling. I was ecstatic! I just looked and felt so refreshed and took years off my face! It's amazing how literally a slight drop that doesn't match your other eye can make a huge difference in your face and confidence. I am around almost 3 months post and will be having surgery on my left eye probably in the next few weeks just waiting for all to balance out, then I will post another update. Currently, my right profile is my favorite side :) funny to say since my whole life it was my left. I have full confidence in the Doctor that my other eye will just be as perfect. I Highly recommend Dr. Melanie for congenital Ptosis, it is an extremely difficult procedure. Those who have my issue know exactly what I’m referring too, it may not be a big deal to others but to yourself looking in the mirror it just bugs! Save yourself time and consultations fees! After extensive search on the internet and through lots of reviews, I found Dr. Melanie Ho Erb a specialist Oculoplastic Surgeon specializes in upper and lower Blepharoplasty. She perform lower Blepharoplasty on my eyes with 2 weeks down time and several office follow ups, my eyes look dramatic different. The whole process was a breeze and I would highly recommend for anyone looking to get theirs done.

Dr. Erb is an amazing surgeon who has a passion for helping her patients. She has THE best technical ability with those magical hands! She was able to make my eyelid lift and under eye procedure turn out exactly as I wanted it. Her assistant Gina, who has been with her for 15 years, is a real expert in helping her patients. She made sure I had everything I needed and even follow up with a phone call to be sure! Dr. Erb is highly skilled and an obvious perfectionist. I was referred to her by another happy patient who look great too! When we first met, she took the time to explain how it all worked in great detail. She is an expert in all things eyes so I signed up right away. The surgery was done in her office and didn’t feel a thing! My eyes are now more alert and I look 20 years younger even without makeup! I love the way they communicated with me and treated me like part of their family. Simply said, Dr. Erb really cares about how her patients look and feel so you are in THE best hands. BEST money I have ever spent! I started looking into blepharoplasty about 5 years ago and met with several plastic surgeons. I'm sure they were all very knowledgeable and experienced, but they were "general" plastic surgeons and I felt my eyes needed an expert. 5 years later, my cousin and I were lamenting over our sad eyelids, and that night, not sure where to even start searching again, I did a google search and found Dr. Ho Erb, a SPECIALIST in Blepharoplasty! I immediately set up a consultation and scheduled my surgery. Dr. Ho Erb is knowledgeable, engaging, personable, professional, caring, and very thorough. Her office manager Gina is sweet, fun to talk with, and super helpful. I didn't get the name of her assistant as I was pretty knocked out for the surgery, but she was super sweet and very professional as well. All of my follow-up appointments were quick and timely. In fact, everything went so smoothly, my cousin flew down from Seattle and had Dr. Ho Erb do her blepharoplasty as well! If you're tired of your sad, saggy eyes and are looking to do blepharoplasty, look no further! Make an appointment with Dr. Ho Erb. My only regret is I wish I would have found her sooner! <3

Dr. Ho is an ocular plastic surgeon. That's why I went to her when interviewing surgeons for a brow lift. Her consult was VERY thorough, and I knew she was the right choice for me. I couldn't be happier with my brow lift. It's so natural, people that know me can't put their finger on what's changed about me (I'm pretty private about it) but they comment on how good I look and I know they're trying to figure out what's changed about me. I love it!
