Amazing explant and lift - I am completely happy with the results

Dr. Batra did my explant plus lift and I am completely happy with the results. He did a perfect en bloc and gave me nice perky boobs. His whole surgical team was awesome! I totally recommend him. He’s not a man of many words but he is honest and a great surgeon.

Perfect Reduction

I had a great experience with Dr. Batra. He gave me exactly what I was looking for and made my breasts the right size for my body. I healed well and my scars are minimal. I know other people who have gone to him for the same surgery, and I now recommend him to other friends.

I had my tummy tuck with Dr.Batra in dec of 2016 and was very happy with the outcome. So when I decided to finally address my encapsulated breast implant I decided to go to him to have it fixed. I could have just had my left breast fixed but my husband said I should have my reduction and a lift done as well since I was going under. It all happened so quickly, I went in for my consult and the next week I was in surgery. It all just happened so quickly that I don't even think I told Dr.Batra what I wanted. I knew I wanted a lift and a reduction. I was a DD to begin with and this was to be my 4th breast surgery. I had implants first put in when I was 19, at 25 i decided to go smaller but because I had grown extra tissue I had a small reduction and lift then. Then about 7 years ago I had to have my implants exchanged due to leaking and ruptures inmy implants. Shortly after that surgery I developed CC in my left implant, it wasn't so bad until the last year where it became so much more noticeable. I didn't want to have my TT and breast done at the same time because I was fearing the recovery. So three months after my TT I went in for my consultation. I'm almost three months into my recovery and I'm so unhappy with my outcome. I am so depressed and sad about my breast that I call my husband crying at times because it makes me so depressed when I look in the mirror. From the very beginning my right breast was flat and didn't look like my left breast. My cleavage is not straight and it looks off, my left breast looks fuller and round where my right looks flat and it seems to be lower. There's no gap between my cleavage, they are so close together. I've been advised by Dr. Batra to wait for 6 months to see how they settle but I don't think that my breast will change much more. My sides look so bad and I am going in on 6/20 for some lipo on the sides and see if the dog ears go away. I'm just so unhappy with my outcome that I can't help but cry when I look at myself in he mirror. I hate to complain because he is such a nice doctor but I have spent almost $25k with him and I feel that I should be happy with my results.

Very Natural Results

I was very happy with the entire experience, from the office staff to the surgery results. Dr Batra was very conservative in recommending procedures that could give me the most benefit, without any "pushy" sales tactics. He really has a fine sense of aesthetics and knows how to achieve the best results.

20 Yrs Old, 400 Cc Silicone Peri-areolar, Under the Muscle - San Diego, CA

This website has helped me so much throughout my whole surgery process, so I figured I'd give back:) I'm currently 5 days post-op, but I'll try to sum up my experience. A little about me: -20 yrs old -130 lbs -5'5 -Not quite sure my size before since VS is always extra generous. But I was probably a full B. -Size now- won't know for at least another month Finding a surgeon: I know a lot of people who have had their boobs done. So between asking around and doing research online I made a list of 4 surgeons and scheduled consultations. Dr. Batra was the second consultation I went to. Getting an appointment was super easy, they had one available the next week and didn't require my card info in order to book the appointment. Although I did have to wait a bit before being called back once at the appointment, this consultation was the first one I had where I actually consulted with the Dr. on implant size rather than just trying all the sizes on and choosing based on my opinion with random staff member. Dr. Batra took measurements and suggested 350-400 cc hp silicone. After he left a girl came in and helped me try on different sizes, profiles, and types of implants. I went with 400 cc hp silicone. She then went over pricing with me and there happened to be a special discount for May which, but that meant I had to book it within the month to receive that discount. After leaving and thinking about it for about a week I canceled all my other consultations and booked my surgery with Dr. Batra. You could tell he really had experience and I trusted his work, and the discount also helped being a college student and all ;) Pre-op: The pre-op consultation came up sooner than I expected. There was a bit of waiting before being called back again but the appointment itself was pretty quick in easy. Dr. Batra came back and went over the surgery, making sure I understood everything he was doing and answering any questions I had. I wasn't sure whether I wanted the incision peri-areolar or inframammary so he drew where they would be and told me the pros/cons of each but said I didn't need to decide until surgery day. He then left and the same girl from before came back and helped me try on different implant sizes to make my final decision/ get a second opinion because I brought my mom along this time. Me & my mom liked the look of the 375 hp's this time, so we went with the 400's since you loose some cc's under the muscle. The also gave me all my prescriptions here and explained when/ how to take everything and gave me instructions for what to do/not to do before surgery like no eating or drinking and not taking certain blood thinners for 2 weeks before. Last thing we did was pay and we were out of there! Surgery day: So I wasn't allowed to eat or drink starting midnight the night before. Before I went to bed I took a xanax that they prescribed me to ease the nerves and went to sleep. My surgery was scheduled for 11 so they asked me to get to the surgery center at 9:45. After filling out some paperwork they took my back where I got changed and Dr. Batra came in to draw on me. Before I knew it I was being walked to the surgery room where they put an IV in and were asking me questions and then boom- I woke up in recovery with boobs! The nurse was awesome and was giving me pain meds through my iv because I was uncomfortable. Then she got me dressed and called my mom to come back and I took a Percocet. I would have been able to leave at this point but I get super light headed around blood and needles and that type of thing so of course my blood pressure got super low and I lost color in my face so I had to stay until that went away. At home things were mostly a blur that day. I was obviously in a lot of pain but was taking my percocet every 1 & 1/2 hrs so I just slept a lot and ate smoothies and soup. In order to get up to go to the bathroom my mom had to help me out of bed, get me tp, and pull up my pants sometimes (lol) I wasn't use to this type of movement yet. Day 2/3: These days were similar. I just felt super tight in my chest and my back/shoulders/neck hurt from probably having to sleep propped up. I took my pain meds around every 2 hrs on day 2 which still kept the pain away pretty well. Still eating liquids and need help up, but am able to go to pee on my own now which is nice. By the end of the day I was able to get out of bed on my own! Day 3 was still tight. I spaced out the meds even more by this day and had my first taste of real food- a sandwich! Day 4/5: Best days so far. By day 5 I'm taking the pain meds every 5 hrs. Day 4 I got out of the house for the first time and went out to lunch, on a drive down the coast, and went to the bookstore since I was getting bored out of my mind watching tv. Day 5 I had my first post-op appointment. They let me back super quickly, which makes sense now as to why I was always waiting before (they were letting the people in pain go back first haha). They took off my bandages and then Dr. Batra came back and took a look. He said everything was looking as they should, obviously swollen, but good. He said I needed to start massaging them to decrease the risk of capsular contracture and also refilled my prescriptions. Next came the painful part, a nurse came back to take out a few of my stitches. One boob was fine but the other hurt so bad because the glue was kinda stuck so there was a lot of pulling. But good news is now I can shower, so I'll be doing that for the first time later! I attached a picture that I took today (on day 5), its the first time I've even taken a look myself since before they were all bandaged up. I am beyond happy at how they look so far! I'll try to keep this updated as time goes on! But a side note, at the surgery center where obviously many surgeons perform surgery, both the nurses I talked to had their boobs done by Dr. Batra... so I think that says something about his work! :)

Much Needed Breast Revision - San Diego, CA

Dr. Batra is the best plastic surgeon in all of Southern California. I had a breast augmentation 6 years ago and the results were horrible. I needed a lift, new implants and get them closer together. I booked a surgery date with a surgeon I wasn't sold on so at the last minute, I went and saw Dr. Batra. After getting his opinion, I knew he could get me the result I wanted. Dr. Batra explained everything thoroughly to me and his staff made me feel right at home! It was easy to book appointments with his office and Dr. Batra was treats you like you're family every step of the way! I went from 400cc Saline to 450cc Silicone. Dr. Batra did a lift, removed skin from the bottom of my breast, removed scar tissue, repositioned the muscle to get them closer together and made my nipples smaller. I truly couldn't be happier and i didn't think it was possible for them to look as great as they do. Dr. Batra give me a brand new look and he is truly the most talented surgeon I've ever met. I wasn't able to wear triangle bikinis because they sagged and were too far apart and now they are PERFECT. My scars are minimal and I'm thankful for Dr. Batra who has given me more confidence.

38 Yo, 5'9", 135 Lb, 385 Cc Silicone - San Diego, CA

I have always had a small chest and wanted implants. Nothing big just to be proportional. After breastfeeding 2 kids, the little boobs I previously had were completely flat. Pre-op I was a 32D and post-op am 32DDD. Based on my measurements and desired appearance, I chose the 385cc silicone implant with the incision in the crease. I am so much happier with the results than I expected. This has resulted in a huge boost in self-confidence. Most of my clothes still fit, they just fit better. One of the best decisions I've made. I have a desk job and work exclusively from home. I had my surgery on a Friday morning and was able to work the following Monday. I took pain meds Friday and Sat. By Sunday I only needed Tylenol for the pain.

Happy Camper - San Diego, CA

I had wanted to get a breast augmentation for some time. Always felt that my "originals" didn't quite fit my body shape. Felt unbalanced, and for that reason, I felt my clothes looked weird. I was worried about loss of sensitivity, but it wasn't that bad, and eventually came back about 80% of what it was. I ended up "going big" with my implants (you know, as opposed to "going home", as the cliched saying goes)- I got silicone, 450 cc's, inserted through an incision on the underside of my nipple. I can still see the scars, but they're minimal, and I scar pretty easily, so that's good. I went from an A/small B to a full D. The worst thing about the healing process was actually the mood swings that I think the anesthesia gave me. The pain wasn't so bad, and I was able to switch from the prescription meds to tylenol within 3-4 days. 2 years out from my surgery, my boobs have "dropped" nicely, and I haven't had any problems. Getting the procedure done was 100% worth it- my clothes look better, especially professional clothing, and I ended up losing weight because I felt better about myself and had the motivation.
