Honestly, I am so blown away by this doctor and his approach to liquid rhinoplasty. I had an original rhinoplasty in 1997. It looked great, but after a few years, the tip started to change. I went back to my same doctor, who told me it was an easy (surgical) fix. At the time, I didn't realize that a tip revision is basically a second rhinoplasty and that creating more scar tissue could cause problems. The tip revision did not turn out well. It was fine, I was not deformed, but I was embarrassed that I had essentially had two nose jobs and my nose looked meh. Over the years, I had some filler injected into the tip, which helped the appearance a little bit, but twice I had complications from nose filler. Injecting into the nose is actually extremely risky. And my complications were extremely serious (once i got a very bad infection). I had pretty much given up on my nose (thought about potentially having another surgery, but at this point, I didn't want to risk another mediocre or worse outcome). Over the years, I even met with several surgeons...two told me it wouldn't be worth doing (any improvement would be minor, and the risk for making it worse is strong). So fast forward to this year, I found Dr Yu and his tiplyft procedure (probably on Instagram? I'm sure the algorithm spotted me looking at revision rhinoplasty). What stood out to me was his acknowledgement of the risks involved in injecting in the nose. And because of these risks, he injects in a different place in the nose that is not as vascular and therefore reduces the risk almost entirely. (If anyone is going to be the one to have an issue, it would be me). I decided to see him for a consultation and see if he thought I would be a good candidate - I honestly wasnt sure if he would turn me away. But he was confident that I wouldn't have an issue (I had him write me a prescription for antibiotics just in case, as I live an hour away). Well, not only did I not have an issue, but my nose looks dramatically improved. I can't stop looking at it. I'm honestly amazed. I may have to go back for a little more in a few weeks/months when it's all settled, but honestly, this is a game changer. This man knows what he is doing. Not only from an anatomical sense, but aesthetically as well. He is an excellent doctor. I only wish I had known about him/gone to see him sooner! Additionally, his nurses and staff are completely lovely. The procedure isn't painless - it's still needles in your face - but the nurse that assisted did a wonderful job of keeping me calm and distracted. It was over quickly and the results were immediate. I'm honestly thrilled with the whole experience.

Recently came in for a PRP facial with micro-needling with Monica. The process was easy and she made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process (can seem a bit daunting at first). I felt I was in great hands with her and one can tell she provides the utmost care in detail which is necessary when someone is doing this type of work on your face. Overall, I felt satisfied and would come back again in the near future considering how quick, clean and informative of the service that was given.

Premier Cosmetic is hands down the best med spa I've been to - they have a the biggest range of services I've seen in one spa and a really skilled doctor. I've gone in a few times for Botox and fillers, and have had a really comfortable experience and great results. I find their price point to be very reasonable compared to other places in LA, and there are always specials going on and a rewards program. Going to a med spa for the first time can be kind of daunting, but this place makes things easy from the get go. There is tons of parking in their lot so I never have to worry about finding parking. The interior is nice and clean, and the specialists in the front are really friendly. I got a consultation from Tina and she was really quick to identify exactly where to get my treatments and seemed really experienced, which eased some of my anxiety. The doctor, Dr. Yu, came in after the consultation to do Botox in my frown area and filler treatments under my eyes. He was extremely precise and the whole process was quick and easy. There was very little pain and no bleeding...only good doctors can pull that off. Results a month later: my frown has relaxed and gone away, but it's natural so nobody would be able to tell! My undereye area looks a lot better and I can tell that I don't have dark circles under my eyes anymore. This place is really impressive and I'm definitely going back for a facial next time.

I hate that most Korean women have flawless skin BUT I don't! It's not fair but I guess that's the result of living at SoCal beaches as a teenager slathered in baby oil. Sadly a big NO NO... So based on a recommendation, I came to Premier for my first intensive treatment ever and I really had no idea what to expect. I'm probably the last surviving Korean facial virgin =P The first step was a computer skin analysis on wrinkles, dryness, dark spots, uv spots, texture, and pores. Then it generates your skin age..... Mine was a bit younger but barely.. WWWWAAAAAHHH!!! I wanna be 10 years younger. (crying) Facial session was lovely. It was a lot of serum massaging on my face, neck, and chest area. Then intense cleaning with a cold machine.. felt so good... then some ultra-sonic.. and then a thick gel mask placed on my face under an intense red light machine. The idea was to absorb collagen into my super dry skin. All in all, it was relaxing, and most importantly I left with dewy radiant, and relaxed skin. Ask for Monica! She treated me to facial heaven. Jamie and Tina were friendly and also gave me great advice and answered all my concerns. Premier does it all and I'm just starting with baby steps! I'll definitely be back!

Please look elsewhere for body procedures. I paid 9k for a bbl and so no real results. My butt looks exactly the same and it just left me frustrated. He offered to do it again but did want to put my body through another surgery plus he also stated that this time he would be taking out less fat which made no sense because I saw no results the first time. He left a lot of fat on my body which got me even more frustrated because for 9k he should’ve done it right the first time. Then after I voice my concerns, has the nerve to say that I didn’t have enough fat,... excuse me? Shouldn’t you have said that BEFORE the surgery if that was the case? Which was far from what he was telling me in the consultation that I would have this huge butt LOL. Big waste of money I wish so bad I could have taken my business elsewhere.

Hello, I'm having my surgery on march 9, 2017. I'm so nervous... I'm doing it with Dr. Art Yu in Arcadia. Does anyone have it done with him yet? What do I need to do to prepare? Nobody in my family knows cuz they will be against it. So I just keep it quiet. Do I need people with me first 48 hours? Thanks so much! Updated on 10 Mar 2017: Wow... couldn't believe it's over. But the sore still there. It's hard to walk but doable. Feel much better today. My breast feel still tight. Hope it stays... I will have follow up today. The nurse told me I could drive. But since my thigh still sore and I can walk slow. I'm just gonna call Lyft you pick me up. Updated on 10 Mar 2017: So I feel ok. The breast still feel so tight. And the thigh still sore, but no bruise in the thigh yet. I got 3 incisions total for each breast. You can see one under each breast here. Is it the way people do?
