I am beyond grateful and his work is truly amazing. All fear and doubt was eased as soon as I met Mark. He is honest, kind and made it all simple. I cannot recommend him enough. Just wish i had done it sooner.

It’s taken me a long time to remember to write this review because I honestly don’t think about my nose very often. Which is amazing because it was my biggest insecurity and I couldn’t breathe before! Dr Mark Baldwin is so genuine, easy to talk to and really listens. He is amazing at what he does. I had complete trust in him from the first consult and the recovery process was so smooth because him and the team were so approachable and I had realistic expectations. Now I can breathe properly and I feel so much more confident. Wouldn’t change a thing about the process or my result.

I cannot recommend Mark and the team at Horizon Plastic Surgery enough. From the very beginning, he was realistic, honest, and completely genuine — with just the right amount of humour to make the whole experience feel less intimidating. He made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision, and I knew I was in safe hands. I broke my nose as a kid and had a bump and breathing issues and I'm so glad I chose Mark to fix this. The process was seamless from consultation to post-op, and the Horizon staff were so supportive every step of the way. I had everything I needed for a smooth recovery, and even when I had a little post-op freak out, Mark was easily accessible and reassuring, which made all the difference. Recovery wasn’t exactly fun (as expected), but it was bearable. My nose is now absolutely perfect. It looks so natural that most people don’t even realise I’ve had a rhinoplasty, aside from those who knew me well before. On top of that, my breathing has completely transformed. For the first time in my life, I sleep through the night without waking up and I can finally work out without struggling to breathe. I used to be conscious of my nose all the time, and now I barely even think about it! This has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and I’m so grateful to Mark for changing both how I look and how I feel.

I had my first rhinoplasty with a different surgeon to remove a hump 10 years prior to Mark. Since then, my nose has twisted on the inside and the outside (unclear if it's due to technique or trauma or both). One of my nostrils was blocked due to the collapse caused by the twisting. I went back to the original surgeon about 5 years post op and they said they don't think they can make it better. I then had consults with 2 other surgeons; one said they won't be able to fix it and one promised me a perfect nose after barely even looking at it. I still wanted it fixed but was feeling like I won't find anyone who can do it. I did extensive research (particularly on revision rhinoplasty) and I found Mark. His work looked impressive and his patients spoke very highly of him. I went for a consult and immediately knew I had found my surgeon. He was genuine, realistic and transparent. He set my expectations early on and never pressured me to get it done- in fact he recommended I think about it and be 100% sure. I loved that he explained everything to me- from what he was planning to do, to the possible outcomes. I felt very comfortable. I decided to go ahead with the revision rhinoplasty which required a rib graft to provide support to the structure. The team at Horizon was very professional and always available to answer any questions I had. When it came to surgery day I was extremely nervous and both Mark and the anaesthetist came and spoke with me individually to calm my nerves. They took the time to answer all my questions and were by my side as long as I needed. I woke up with a cast on my face and cotton-like strings in my nostrils. It wasn't comfortable but the real pain was in the ribs from the extraction of the rib graft. It hurt to get up or lay down and the first week was difficult. At first it was hard to sleep because having blocked nostrils meant I had to breath from my mouth, so when I fell asleep I woke up from a dry mouth. I got progressive relief as they took out the nostril tubes and the rib pain subsided. I was very relieved when they finally removed the cast and tape from my face as it was starting to feel very uncomfortable and gross. The nose was initially very swollen, especially at the tip but I could already see how much smaller it was. I am now almost 1 year post op and much of the swelling has disappeared (it may take longer for all my swelling to subside as I had a lot of scar tissue from the previous surgery). I love the results and I especially love how little I think about my nose now. I no longer have to worry about what angle people are looking at me- it's very liberating. My whole face is very asymmetrical so naturally my nose will never be perfectly straight, but I am very happy with the results as it is a massive improvement to what I had before. My breathing has also improved because my nostrils are no longer collapsed. The post op care is very thorough with Mark. There are several appointments with the nurse and with him which are all sorted and booked as you get out of surgery. Any time I had any concerns he was available to speak with. I didn't have this level of care with my previous surgeon and my only regret is not finding Mark sooner.

Not all superheroes wear capes, some wear surgical scrubs and gloves! Couldn't of asked for a better experience with Dr Baldwin, he's the most humbled, talented plastic surgeon you will ever meet! From the moment I met him, he was completely transparent with everything!! I had quite a few consultations with Mark before I booked in my surgery date; as I had a million and one questions for him! I never felt rushed, he answered every single one of my questions in detail and always took his time to make sure I understood everything! His lighthearted approach makes you feel so comfortable and I knew I was in good hands! Everything went so so smoothly! On surgery day, we had a chat before I was wheeled in, Mark's bedside manner is immaculate. Even the anaesthesiologist made me feel so comfortable, sat on the end of my bed outside the theatre and answered all my concerns/questions. My recovery was very smooth (septo-rhino), I had little to no bruising and any post-op questions I had were answered so fast by the lovely receptionists at horizon. I am now 1 year post op and I couldn't be happier with my decision! Not only am I more confident in the appearance of my nose, but I can actually breath properly for the first time in my life! I still look and feel like myself, just with a straighter, properly functioning nose Mark, thank you!! Really is life changing <3 Would recommend him to everyone and anyone !!

From the moment I met Dr. Mark Baldwin, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. He was friendly, professional, and made me feel incredibly comfortable. There was no pressure regarding the breast reduction surgery I wanted; instead, we had a thorough discussion about my desires and the best timing, especially since I was still breastfeeding. Dr. Baldwin ensured I felt at ease with the process and emphasized doing it when I was ready, without any pressure. It's clear that he takes great pride in his work and isn't motivated by money (even though he is VERY reasonably priced!). Post-surgery, the recovery process was smooth, and the support from everyone at Horizon was amazing. No question felt silly, and I felt like I had an extended family caring for my health. After breastfeeding my kids for a total of 3.5 years, I never thought I'd feel confident in my body again, but Mark helped me get that confidence back. My breasts are now the perfect size and shape (perky!), and my neck and back pain have disappeared. Thank you to Connie (post-surgery nurse), all the reception staff, and Mark, for playing a part in changing my life! Keep up the fantastic teamwork!

Dr. Baldwin is excellent. I’m so happy with the outcome of my arm lift after significant weight loss. In consultations he was friendly, informative, objective and matter-of-fact. As someone with zero experience with plastic surgery, I was anxious that surgeons would be pushy or critical but the experience with Dr. Baldwin was the complete opposite. There was zero pressure to proceed. Risks, complications and managing expectations especially around scarring are at the forefront of the process and I had plenty of time and space to make an informed decision about going ahead with the surgery or not. I think it’s pretty normal to feel anxious about big elective surgeries like this but removing excess skin and fat from my arms has really increased my quality of life. I used to have this self-conscious ‘tab’ open in my brain all the time about my arms - I don’t have this anymore. The real gift is not thinking about it at all! Dr. Baldwin was the second surgeon I had a consultation with - I really recommend finding a surgeon you’re comfortable with and who is happy to explain their methods to you. The first surgeon I had a consultation with placed the scar on the back of the arm - this looks really good in ‘after’ pictures because you don’t see the scars in outstretched arm photos but the scars are always visible when your arms are down by your side. Dr. Baldwin prefers to place the scars on the inner arm, along the bicep line. He explained that this means scars are visible only when you extend your arms out and over time it blends into the natural line of the bicep. I’m really glad I went with Dr. Baldwin - it’s been an excellent result and I’m really happy with this scar placement. My scars healed well, I had no complications and my boobs also got a mini-lift from the process of removing excess skin in my armpits (definitely a bonus)! Recovery is pretty rough but then again - so is a lifetime with a body part that doesn’t match the rest of your body! After the surgery I didn’t have any numbness in my forearms or hands which is amazing. I did have some numbness in my right underarm region but this started to go away after about 6 months. Sensation in my arms and armpits is pretty much back to where it was pre-operatively.

From first meeting Dr Baldwin I knew he was the doctor to operate on my nose. He was honest, set realistic expectations and made me feel comfortable and at ease. Recovery was good, I was never in pain just felt a bit of pressure in my face for the first week and once the packing was removed from inside my nose, it was smooth sailing. Bruising wasn’t too bad either and had pretty much subsided by day 12. From about week 6 I could see the shape of my nose as a lot of swelling subsided and couldn’t wait to hit the year mark to see the end result. I am now 6 months post-op and in love with my nose! It looks so natural and suits my face well. I wish I did this 8 years ago when I first thought about getting nose surgery. I would recommend Dr Baldwin to anyone considering rhinoplasty. Mark was amazing, 6 weeks post op and my nose is already looking amazing. I didnt realise it was still really swollen, i'm happy as is and cant wait to see the final result not to mention i am breathing so much better already too so i look forward to feeling that get better. Mark is very honest and knowledgable. Recovery was better then i thought no pain, i just didn't like mouth breathing for a week and i was very bruised by day 3 but by day 9 you wouldn't even know i had surgery. Everyone i have seen is amazed with how good it looked only 2 weeks after getting it done. Im very happy and i highly recommend you go with him. Many people i have known to have surgery want to get it re done with Mark now....

Rhinoplasty was always something I wanted since a young age. I decided to bite the bullet and had a consultation with Dr Baldwin. Safe to say it was the one and only consultation I needed. I knew Dr Baldwin was the surgeon for me. I had my surgery in February 2024 and I wanted to wait a good 6 months post op before writing my review, but it's safe to say I am absolutely thrilled with my results. I had a very large hooked nose before and now my nose is in proportion to my face and very natural looking. It's changed my face in the best way and I wish I did this 15 years ago! I did not show any inspo pictures before surgery, I said "I trust you to make my nose suit my face" and he absolutely nailed it. My recovery was quite straight forward, I was lucky enough to have no bruising. I had lots of questions pre and post op and Mark and all the staff at Horizon were so lovely and accommodating. I highly recommend Mark and Horizon Plastic Surgery if you are looking for a Rhinoplasty.
