Before I ever decided to have a procedure. I shopped around. I don't do well with anesthesia, so I needed to have the right medication. Dr. Olson offered me exactly what I wanted. The perfect procedure and the best possible anesthesia (propofol). I would highly recommend him. He's a great surgeon.

This is the surgeon you want for a neck/face lift. Not only is the office convenient (Sunrise/Campbell, near CVS), but also it is quiet and private. I never encountered another patient due to efficient scheduling and superior patient/time management. Thus, it felt like a private clinic just for me. Next, the evaluation and presurgical consultation was not rushed. My concerns were heard and Dr. Olson shared what he thought would be optimal, too. I wanted this. We often fixate on a "problem" that is tied to other aspects of our appearance and we underestimate what it takes to make it look great. He solved that for me. On the day of surgery, the outpatient center was busy but ran on time. The staff were considerate and professional and I never waited. Someone was doing something for me to assure my safety or comfort every minute I was there. The aftercare was pretty easy. The advice I was given about what I'd feel and look like was 100% accurate and the continual follow up to ensure surgical excellence and my happiness were comforting. For this reason, of you do not live here but have traveled for your procedure, you need A MINIMUM of a week to be seen and cared for. This is not something to trivialize. You want the attention and care. Finally, my outcomes are so incredible to me that I feel I am "starting over" in the best way possible. Not one person has figured out what I have done (this review may "out" me) because there are no visible scars (only my shampoo girl at the salon had a question). I just look like me, minus the haggard, tired, old neck and jawline. I am beyond pleased and see the entire process as intensive art and Dr. Olson was my artist. That someone can see hundreds of faces with hundreds of features and optimize those features to best suit the individual is indeed a gift. Dr. Olson and his capable staff (Mercy Olson, RN, a wonderful and essential component of your care) will surpass your expectations and the care they provide is unparalleled.

I'm going to do my best to keep a long story short while expressing a great deal of appreciation. After three disappointing surgeries on my nose by a different doctor, I came to Foothills Facial Plastic Surgery for consultation. I met with Dr. Olson and he was honest with me about what I could expect and financial costs involved that were reasonable, if not generous. Showing genuine concern, he presented options and helped me to understand the complexity of results I was hoping for. Providing pictures and images of my nose and what was likely possible. After considering all that he thoroughly explained, I chose to have the revision surgery which entailed a functional purpose, as well as aesthetic. Dr. Olson was able to fix my septum and transfer cartilage from my ear to the nose. Not only am I able to breathe better than ever, it looks fantastic. Throughout the process Dr Olson, Mercy and their associates made me feel at ease and assured. As far as I'm concerned, Dr. Olson is a miracle worker and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. From the initial consultation appointment through post procedure recovery, Dr. Olson and his team were professional, compassionate, and highly communicative the entire time. He runs a very efficient practice, with care and compassion at the top. What was truly validating to me was during the surgery prep, every medical team member I encountered remarked on Dr. Olson’s great patient care, results, and general reputation. All of these comments were unsolicited and very impressive. I knew I made the right choice in my Doctor. I am thrilled with my results.

I had a septoplasty/rhinoplasty by Dr Olson and from start to finish, the whole process was amazing. The office staff and nurse Mercy have been so nice and helpful. My nose needed a lot of work, but Dr Olson explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. I was nervous about how the recovery would be, but I ended up having very little pain and the stuffiness was very tolerable. All in all, one of the best decisions I have ever made was choosing Dr Olson for my procedure and I would recommend him to anyone in need of any facial plastic surgery or any services offered by his practice.
