Five stars will never feel like enough for Dr. Josh Olson and the incredible team at Advanced Plastic Surgery Center, located in Gilbert, Arizona. I have wanted breast augmentation for as long as I can remember. I almost did it ten years ago, and now I am so grateful it didn't work out then, because I would have missed the opportunity to have Dr. Olson as my surgeon. Timing truly matters. At 42, I decided it was finally the right time. Not for anyone else. Not because of pressure. Simply because I wanted to do something that felt empowering and special for me. And let me say this clearly, it is never too late to choose yourself. I researched extensively, surgeons in Arizona and even out of state. I had heard about Dr. Olson's beautiful work through friends (especially his mommy makeovers). When someone I knew recently had a breast augmentation done by him and looked amazing, it reignited something in me. Because I had a specific timeline, I started with his online consultation. I submitted photos and heard back quickly. Even before meeting Dr. Olson in person, I felt calm and confident in my decision, thanks to his excellent staff. From the very first interaction, every single person in the office, the patient coordinators, nurses, and surgical staff, treated me with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. The word "staff" doesn't even feel right. Everyone on his team feels invested in the process. When I met Dr. Olson in person two weeks before my surgery at his beautiful, immaculate, state-of-the-art facility, I immediately felt heard. He took his time. He studied my inspiration photos. He studied me. He pointed out subtle aspects of my anatomy I had never noticed. That level of detail and thoughtfulness builds trust quickly. Choosing implant size can feel overwhelming, not wanting to regret going too small, but also not wanting to regret going too large. Dr. Olson has a rare ability to truly listen beyond the words. He doesn't impose his vision; he collaborates. He balances aesthetics, anatomy, and long-term satisfaction in a way that feels deeply personalized. That is artistry and safety. I also chose to have liposuction in my axillary area, something that had bothered me for years, regardless of my weight. He addressed it seamlessly as part of my surgical plan. The day of surgery was my first surgery ever, and yes, I was nervous. But from check-in to anesthesia, I felt entirely supported. Dr. Olson checked in with me one more time before I went back into the operating room, reviewing everything again, making sure we were aligned. Seeing my inspiration photos displayed in the operating room felt surreal in the best way, like the dream I'd carried for years was finally coming true. I ended up with 470cc breast implants, and here's what I love most: implants look different on everybody. 470cc on me looks natural, proportional, and beautifully full. That outcome isn't accidental. It is a true testament to Dr. Olson's artistry and skill. It's experience, and it is an aesthetic judgment refined over the years. I am now eight weeks post-op, watching them "drop and fluff," and I am beyond grateful. I followed my aftercare as meticulously outlined in the handouts and by Dr. Olson's staff, and my recovery has been smooth. But more than the physical results, this experience has been empowering. It feels like honoring a version of myself that waited patiently for the right time. If you are overwhelmed by options or second-guessing yourself, I encourage you to at least consult with Dr. Josh Olson. He is a highly skilled, board-certified plastic surgeon and is also kind, knowledgeable, and deeply thoughtful; that combination matters when choosing a surgeon. If I ever choose to have another procedure, perhaps a mommy makeover one day, I will return in a heartbeat. I trust Dr. Olson completely. This wasn't about changing who I am. It was about honoring something I had wanted for years and finally giving myself permission to do it. I am incredibly grateful that the timing aligned the way it did. Choosing Dr. Olson was one of the best decisions I've made, and I would do it all over again.

I'm so glad I went with Dr. Olson. Went to my consultation back in March. First met Ashley " she was amazing & so sweet" ! Then I met Dr. Olson. Remember this is my first consultation and I knew he was the one. At first I was gonna go with 275cc just because when I tried on 350cc. It was so big on me. Then 3 months I went to my pre op appointment & met Robin :) " she was amazing as well & felt 100% comfortable with her" ! She had me try on 350cc and I realize that 275cc was way too small! We talked about not going way too small or big. The surgery day come which was June 27th at 10am. Was so nervous, I didn't sleep that night. lol met with the anesthesiologist doctor and I believe it was Dr. Price " sweet guy & made it clear that I was in good hands. Everything will be quick" It was a quick 45 minute surgery and I didn't realize I knocked out when I got into the operation room. Before that, I told Dr. Olson whatever size he thinks would look best on me. I just a big of a size so in 5-10 years, if I were to gain weight, you can tell I still had breast. Just because I had 3 boys & all was breastfed! Woke up with new girls :) he decided under the muscle 345cc moderate profile. Wasn't in pain at all but the next day, I felt everything lol. Overall, Dr. Olson was such a nice guy and I'm glad I went with him. I did lots of research from the website, RealSelf to his instagram. I knew I found the right surgeon to give me my dream breast. FYI: I been wanting to do this for almost 8 years and my bra size is 34A .' It's nice to know that on his instagram story mostly every other day , he showcase his cases and what they are getting done. Oh and the girls there, were so sweet & nice! I'm glad I went with my gut. It was totally worth an hour drive because I do live in litchfield park. Tomorrow is my 1 week checkup with Dr. Olson. Still swollen & tight but I can't wait for them to settle in :) Updated on 9 Jul 2025: A small 34A. One breast was smaller than the other side . Roughly about 132lbs here. So I lost weight for this surgery " still trying to lose weight" also trying to lose weight before the wedding of April 2026 :) Updated on 9 Jul 2025: This was a few days before my surgery! Went in to find clothes to get in and out the day of surgery. After breastfeeding 3 boys, I lost a lot of volume to my breast. FYI: writing this and I'm almost 2 weeks post op this Friday :)

I’m beyond happy with my results. This was a much needed procedure after having 4 children. The scars are minimal, my belly button looks amazing!! And my breasts turned out to be the perfect size (which I was a little worried about because I wasn’t sure what I wanted). He made the best judgment and did a fabulous job with everything!

I was referred to Dr. Olson through a friend who is a retired plastic surgeon… which speaks volumes about his reputation. I can’t say enough good things about Advanced Plastic Surgery Institute. The staff is absolutely incredible. EVERY SINGLE PERSON has made me feel like a friend. I have asked hundreds of questions and never felt I was being annoying. Their patient portal is magical. When I send a message I get a response that it’s been seen in minutes...and answers to questions very quickly. I went in with a very damaged body from weight gain/loss. I was embarrassed about the extent of my loose skin. Everyone has made me feel comfortable and at ease. Over the past 18 months I’ve had a lower body lift, fleur-de-lis tummy tuck, brachioplasty, mastopexy with implants, and a thigh lift with liposuction to my legs. My patient experience could not have been any better. Dr. Olson took the time to get to know me and listened to my wishes, goals and concerns. He was honest about what could and could not be fixed. Incredible doctor. I had my breast augmentation almost a year ago now (January 2022) and can say everything about my experience with Dr. Olson was fantastic all the way through from consultation to post op. The office was always timely with getting back to me, scheduling etc. The office staff and nurses are professional and caring. Dr. Olson listened to what I wanted to achieve and delivered! He was realistic about the size I was thinking I wanted versus my goal photos. I trusted him and my results look amazing. They followed up after surgery and were very caring long after they had my money! I would recommend him 10000x. My friend even went after seeing my results!

I couldn’t have chosen a better doctor. Dr Olson was so informative and his staff was just as amazing. Everyone was very kind, patient and supportive. Will always pick Dr. Olson for my treatments. Advice; listen to your doctor. And do not be afraid to go bigger. No regrets.

I’m only 2 weeks post op for a breast lift and reduction (no implant) and labiaplasty. I am so happy I went with Josh Olson over another doctor. His cuts are very thin and I already know I’ll be left with little to no scars. His nurses are very sweet and attentive. I am a hypochondriac and worry about everything. I was able ask questions through a confidential app and received prompt responses. Thank you Josh Olson and staff for giving me my confidence back. Best cosmetic surgeon in Arizona! P.S. I had a mommy make over in august . I’m glad I chose to stay in my home town and not to travel. I chose Dr Josh Olsen cause he was very highly recommended and is known for good belly buttons. He did an amazing job and the only thing I could even complain about is maybe the day of surgery the nurse did very quickly rush me back seemed like they were in a hurry to rush me back there and I just had to very quickly give me husband a quick hug.. which was scary to me cause it was my first ever big surgery ..but everything turned out amazing and I had no complications or infections or anything and he did an incredible job

I can not be happier with my experience with Dr Olson and his staff! After years of researching surgeons, and weighing the risks and benefits of Breast Augmentation I finally scheduled my consultation! I was able to schedule a consult relatively quickly (a month out) where I met with Dr Olson and one of his surgical nurses as well as his surgery scheduler. All of my questions were answered thoroughly and I was told my goal boobs were an attainable result which was amazing! I started with a 34A and ended up having a 440cc high profile implant placed in both my left and side breast. When I first went in I was so nervous about looking like I had huge breasts that made me top heavy and almost wanted a significantly smaller implant but the more I thought about it and looked at wish photos I realized I wanted a larger breast than I did originally! Dr Olson was able to go with a 440cc implant versus the 350cc I originally had thought I wanted and, you guys this is why you have to choose someone you trust I am in love!!!!! He made sure I achieved the look I wanted without becoming only boobs! The recovery was amazing I was only on pain meds for 3 days and it took about 5 days to get back on my feet and walking around. I’m currently 2 1/2 weeks post op and I’m basically doing everything I was prior to surgery minus of course hiit workouts etc but have started non weight bearing lower body isolated workouts (cleared by my doctor of course)! My whole experience was just amazing! His staff, his bedside manner, the pre and post op staff and the anesthesiologist everything was seriously awesome! Can’t wait for more fluff and drop to take place but already so happy with my choice!
