5 out of 5 stars Breast Augmentation
Dr. Yates is a very caring doctor who made sure to give me all the information necessary. Him and his entire staff made me feel very comfortable, answered all my questions, and never pressured me or made me feel dumb. A close friend recommended Dr. Yates and I could not be happier. I just wish I had done it YEARS ago! I was very happy to find a doctor who was on my side.

Dr. Yates is a man of EXCELLENCE. His attention to detail and perfectionism is worth much more than twice the amount that he charges for his procedures. Not only are his professional skills second to none!, his integrity and compassion are off the charts. To have a physician who treats you as an individual and remembers the "little things" about you makes the whole experience like connecting with a friend. Words cannot adequately express my admiration and gratitude for this TREMENDOUS professional! Did I say that his professional skills are second to NONE! Yes, he's THAT good!!

Dr. Michael Yates is a WONDERFUL surgeon. He changed my life! After the procedure he performed on me, I stopped having the awful and constant pain in my neck, shoulders and back. I am so relieved that now I can wear "normal" size clothes again for the first time in years. I can never Thank you enough Dr. Yates!! The quality of my life is 100% better since the surgery. I was very nervous about having surgery. Dr. Yates, and his friendly staff put my fears at ease. Dr. Yates is very professional, yet very caring toward his patients. He answered ALL of my questions, without making me feel like I was sounding foolish. I highly recommend Dr. Yates to anyone suffering physically, or needing a procedure done that will improve their quality of life. I can't thank you enough Dr. Yates!
5 out of 5 stars Tummy Tuck
Hello, I just want to say I have lurk on this form for months and you all have inspired ( specially Tjuana Thanks) to share my story. I am 31 year old mother of three. My weight around 125 before my first child. First pregnancy I gained about 45 pound but was able to lose that weight two month after delivery, half way through the second month I had to go to the doctor because I was not...

I rate him this high because he is all of that! I could not have imagined a better doctor or experience. I chose him through word of mouth, and I consulted with several plastic surgeons. I did some research on what I wanted and the techniques and procedures available. Dr. Yates had the most options and latest technology. He seemed extremely confident and I knew he had done a lot of these procedures. He stays booked. I got in earlier because someone happened to cancel. The DYA clinic's reputation in Huntsville, Al is stellar. I knew I wanted the best, not the cheapest. Some things you don't need to go on the cheap with.

It took about 70 days of using it everyday consistently for about 70 days and I noticed my lashes have grown longer. Don't really notice them being any thicker but my lashes were not sparse to begin with. I finished one package and am using my 2nd package. I purchased a fine eyeliner brush to use as the ones with package are rough and use too much product. I'm sure my method isn't...

dunagan, yates and allison I knew someone who used the same group and dr I'm using. Dr yates.
After 2 years of being bed ridden…literally, I had my breast implants removed via the en bloc procedure. I went from a healthy, athletic 5’9? woman weighing 135 lbs to 223 lbs. Obesity runs in my family, so I have always been very health conscious. I use to run 8 miles six times a week just as a warm up to my workouts. It all began with ambiguous aches and pains in my back and in my abdomen. I went to the emergency room numerous times, orthopedic specialist for my back, GI specialist for my gut. I had endoscopy, colonoscopy, HIDA scans, MRI’s, CT scans…then the neuropathy began. Nerve conduction tests along with visits to three different neurologists. Two of the best in the country at Vanderbilt Hospital. They were considering an MS diagnosis. It wasn’t until 2 years later that my right breast became hard and excruciatingly painful l (capsular contracture). I asked the neurologist…could this possibly be my 13 year old saline implants?? He told me quite possibly…yes! He had seen women presenting MS and lupus symptoms come in wheelchairs and have explants done…and make partial to full recoveries. I started doing research online. I also researched my insurance company’s policy and found that they would pay for explantation if I had: baker grade 3 or higher capsular contracture and/or signs of infection and a letter of medical necessity from my surgeon. I consulted with Dr. Yates, and my intial consultation was great. We had a plan that he would write a letter and send it to the insurance company on my behalf and go from there. After 5 weeks, I called his office and inquired as to whether or not he had an answer from the insurance company. His nurse called me back and said the letter was never sent because they were waiting on me. Waiting on me??? I was very upset to say the least. The nurse told me that if I was that upset, maybe I should consider another surgeon. Wow. Trying to blow me off...unbelievable. I asked to speak with Dr. Yates personally. The next morning, the office called me back and told me that IF I still wanted them to that they would send out the letter and as soon as they hear something that I would have first priority for surgery. I decided I needed to take matters in my own hands. I wrote a 3 page letter to Aetna, and tied in all the tests and procedures to my problem but also presented it as a cost savings to them. I wrote that I had 2 nerve blocks and tests scheduled in the next month that would cost 3x as much as the explant surgery. I then called everyday and spoke with member services for three weeks. They approved the surgery 100%!! Dr. Yates' office called 1 week after they had the approval letter and asked me to come in for an appointment to discuss. He basically said nothing but yes they could schedule the surgery. Sorry...no priority but we can schedule you. He left the room, sent me back to the waiting room for another 30 minutes. His scheduler came out and asked me to come in her office. She said the soonest date she had was February 18!!! It was December 9th when I was there. Then to add insult to injury she told me that because it had to be performed at the hospital that they only schedule those surgeries for people who really need it. WTH!!! I was in tears the whole time. My husband was disgusted. I made an appointment the next day with another prominent surgeon, Dr. Robert Knowling. I explained to him my situation and he was so compassionate and so was his staff. Despite the holidays, they had me scheduled for January 8th. Dr. Knowling was so impressed that I was able to get my surgery 100% paid. He couldn't believe it. 2 days after the explant, I was 100% pain free. I have begun to get my life back, and couldn’t be happier. He did the most amazing job. His staff was so compassionate…they were a god send. I would love to see his name added to every list on the internet for en bloc explant surgeons. In summary, ladies..please be a champion of your own health. Do NOT feel hostage to one doctor. Especially one that treats you poorly...like a second class citizen. I am ashamed for him and his staff. To all women thinking of doing this…..do it!!! it will change your life for the better.
The staff and Dr Yates are very friendly, however, I waited over 1 1/2 hours to actually see the doctor, who finally walked in and then immediately had a phone call and walked back out before even finishing saying hello. Then after just a few minutes of him talking and looking at my stomach, he quotes me a price of $12,500. What?! I'm only about 130 pounds and have a poochy lower abdomen that...
Went for my consultation a few weeks ago and have confirmed my surgery date of December 30. I would do it sooner but work is very busy at the moment so it will be performed during Christmas break. I'm very excited. I can't believe it's taken me a few years to go through with it. The cost was one thing as we all know life gets in the way; and, being a career woman and mother, I don't have much...
