My top lip had elongated as I got older. When I smiled my teeth could not be seen. I literally had lost my smile.
I had a bullhorn lip lift under local anesthetic.My surgeon was very careful with my incision placement. The incisions went a tiny way into my nostrils, which basically hid them. I don't know how many MM he removed, but I do have a little tooth show now.I have a little filler in my top lip now, as it rolls up beautifully. I get maybe half a syringe of juverderm every 8 months, to keep it a little fuller.It's now 3 and a half years later. My scars are virtually invisible.So happy I got it done. It was a little thing, but it made such a difference to be able to smile confidently again.My surgeon has retired now, but I do know of a couple of good surgeons in Houston, who do this procedure well.The real self site won't allow me to add the correct date I had this procedure.It was July 2016.

I actually got my implants in 2007 and still get compliments almost 11 years later. He did an awesome job. I have had no complications with them and have also had 2 kids since I got them done. 11 years later and still happy
