It is SURREAL that I'm here. I've wanted boobs since I can remember...always thought- oh they'll come in high school, (nope) -oh they'll come in college, (nope)- oh they'll come after college. Literally NEVER happened. And I had gotten to a point here in my 30's where I would not leave the house without the VS bombshell (adds 2 cup sizes) bra on. Hated wearing swimsuits around friends. Was SOOO self conscious about my chest. But I didn't really let anyone know. Super conservative. Grew up thinking plastic surgery was terrible. But I had some close friends (all who I looked up to as friends, people and spiritually) who had shared they got a BA. I always thought wow, that would be so amazing. But truly never thought it would be me. Never thought I would be able to afford it, and just didn't think I'd ever have the guts to go through with it. Also, as a mom - I just didn't want to have to explain to my children why I was recovering from a surgery... One friend that shared her BA experience with me - told me about Dr. Adams and his 24 hour recovery and how she was going to dinner and shopping the same day of surgery and was picking up her child the very next day. After hearing the process and seeing how happy she was with her results I started researching like a mad woman. Researching the 24 hour recovery. Researching Dr. Adams and other Dr.'s whose name showed up in my google search. Scrolling through this website every other day. I finally shared my rabbit trail of research with my husband and he said "Call him!" So I set up my phone consult with Dr. Adams and I guess you can say the rest is history. We chose a surgery date (which was WAY sooner than I was even thinking was possible) and we started putting back the money for everything! Being in Lubbock, I just made 2 quick trips down to Dallas for the in person consultation and then again for the procedure. Everything was SO EASY. These people are professionals. They know what they're doing. Dr. Adams wrote the book basically. As a mom, I knew I wanted really natural looking breasts and definitely didn't want to go too big! But also didn't want to go to small! Ha, the age old dilemma. They gave me 2 great options and I ended up going with the bigger size (335cc) just because seeing the options side by side, the larger didn't look THAT much bigger in the photos... so I felt confident they wouldn't be "too" big and most of the things I had read on here or heard from friends was go a little bigger than you're thinking, you won't regret it. I'm 1 week post op and honestly...best decision ever. I feel like a new woman. I feel great physically, but also mentally. I did have my moments of "omg, what have I done?!". And some of the moments (more than I would like to admit) leading up to the procedure were full of anxiety. Mom guilt. All the things. But I would do it again in a heartbeat. I'm more confident all the way around, and I FINALLY feel like a WOMAN. I'll upload photos later!
I couldn’t be more pleased with the care and results I received with Dr. William Adams. He gave honest feedback and made a plan that he thought was best for me. The results are Amazing!!! I should’ve done it sooner! Dr. Adam’s staff is top of the line!!! Kirby, Ellery, and Christina were all wonderful to work with and extremely kind!
I am writing this review about my Tummy tuck, bc I haven't seen any reviews on them. I got a mommy makeover this August and I am so happy. I was off all pain meds 6 days after surgery (I do have a high pain tolerance). My scar line is so thin. It looks like you took a pen and drew a lin on my lower abdomen. I am so happy the scar is not thick. Ellery and Dr. Adams is amazing. I was so scared to get this surgery and I am so happy I did it. My belly button looks super natural. I was so afraid to have the typical weird circle or slit looking belly button you see from other doctors. Not mine. It looks so natural. I am only 6weeks post op and we are still belly button training, but I am so very happy. He is an amazing doctor. As always my breast look amazing. 295cc on Left and 325cc on Right. I had severe size discrepancy in my breasts. He did a mini lift as well. They look amazing. No pain with breasts. Recovery was really all about the tummy tuck. I would do it again, 10/10.
I knew I could trust him when he explained to me why I needed a lift with a small implant. I came in hoping to be told I could get just large implants (350cc) and no lift. Doctor Adams was extremely real with me about what would give me long lasting, natural, and effective results. Background: no kids, always had saggy breast tissue even in teens, wide chest cavity so breasts very far apart, breast tissue all at the bottom of the breast towards armpits. I had a lift with 250cc implant and he liposuctioned my bra line to give more round and feminine appearance. I know multiple women including a very good girlfriend who have gone to him. He’s known as the doctor you go to when you go the cheap route and have regrets- he’s the one who fixes that. I’m glad I listened to his advice and his insistence on a small implant because I’m D now thanks to breast tissue I already had and the small implant. Any bigger would have ruined the lifted results within a few years.
I’ve been wanting implant since after my second child! My now husband and I decided to have another child, and I knew that I was definitely going to want them after her! I was originally scheduled for 12/13 but ended up getting sick! Dr. Adams and staff checked on me every week to make sure I was ok! He the rescheduled me for 1/24! The night before the Anesthesiologists called me and briefed me on everything, I thought that was sweet! The day off, everything went very smooth! I followed his exact instructions, and Right when I woke up from my nap he called to check on me personally!! It’s day to and I’m in no pain just uncomfortable at time! But I’ve been able to hold my 7 month old, I went out to eat yesterday and today I went to the mall! I would totally recommend him to anyone!! Updated on 20 Feb 2020: It’s been 4 weeks, and recovery has been a breeze! They are dropping and I love them!! My scars are also healing beautifully. I did buy different surgical bras that are more comfortable, I see a huge difference in clothes! I’m so excited to be getting close to the 6 week mark. I have told sooo many people about Dr. Adams!
I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Adams and his entire staff. Let me start by saying-- I have NOT had my surgery yet; however, I can't express how truly amazing this process has been. My surgery had to be rescheduled because I ended up being sick the day of my surgery and was sadly unable to go through with it. Dr. Adams and his staff, despite their busy schedule, had my best interest in mind and my health and safety at the forefront when it was decided I was temporarily unfit for surgery and I am so glad they advocated for me in this way. The surgery center was SO sweet and concerned with my health and I cannot thank them enough for giving me fluids and more to try to get me well when I was sick. (WOW they are the best people there!) BUT prior to the surgery, the consultations and pre-op visits were very informative and put me at ease about finally deciding to get a breast augmentation. I WISH I WOULD HAVE COME IN SOONER!!! Everything was super easy, informative, and comforting. I couldn't believe it. Ellery was so sweet arranging the appointment and making me feel at home, Christy was so helpful with my 3D-imaging and explaining more on expectatiolns, Sydney took the time to give me a phone call with clear pre-op instructions, Caroline was so helpful arranging my finances, and Dr. Adams not only helped me decide what breast size would be best for me, but educated me on implants, safety and his technique so I would be confident and well-versed in my decisions. DID I MENTION that when my surgery had to be canceled, Dr. Adams called that night to check in on me and ask how I was feeling. I also got a text from a staff member making sure I was taking care of myself to feel better. I cannot wait to finally get my surgery. I am so lucky to have been cared for and I can't wait to post an update.
I am a stay-at-home mom of 3 young children, and one of my biggest concerns with getting a breast augmentation was the recovery process and being able to care for my kids. Dr. Adams exceeded my expectations! I was able to lift my 2 year old the day after my surgery and had very minimal discomfort overall- wow! I’m still amazed at how easy this was. In addition to this, my breasts look AMAZING! Dr. Adams is very thorough during the consultation, and he calculates the best size implant based on your chest/tissue measurements. I wanted a very natural look to restore the volume lost from breastfeeding 3 babies. I am 1 month post-op and couldn’t be happier! He gave me exactly what I wanted and more. If you’re considering a breast augmentation and want an easy recovery with beautiful results- go see Dr. Adams! He is the BEST!
I had many friends refer me to their plastic surgeons, luckily Dr. Adams was one of them. I did my research and loved his technique, approach, and 24 hour recovery time. His staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I am thrilled with my results and as an active mom loved recovering so quickly. The whole process was such a great experience.
I had consultations with two other renowned surgeons--one in L.A., one in Dallas--before meeting with Dr. Adams. With the first two, even though they are 'famous,' I had little nagging concerns and was still on the fence. When I met Adams, he was focused, analytical and thoughtful. I immediately felt, 'This is the guy.' I knew I would be in great hands and suddenly the decision became easy. His righthand woman, Christy, is lovely (informative and warm), as is the rest of his staff. His anesthesiologist said his goal was to give me the perfect 'cocktail,' and he did. I felt fantastic when I came out of surgery. Truly, the whole experience, from beginning to end, was smooth, pleasant and fascinatingly easy. (Oddly, the only challenging part was remembering not to have any blood thinners (red wine, certain spices, Advil, etc.) prior to surgery. Also, I got almost no sleep the night before surgery, because I had never had surgery before and was anxious.) I had sushi with girlfriends hours after having surgery, and I flew back to LA the next morning. (Commit to using the cream they give you, daily, for the incisions, and re-order it when you run out--you will be annoyed with yourself if you slack off and end up with more visible scars.) It's been 3 years since and every day, I still love looking at my breasts. Sometimes women friends scream when I show them my results--that's how good my breasts look. Shopping for clothes used to be depressing. Now, it's fun. I look good in a wide range of silhouettes, because I "fill out" tops and have a more hourglass figure. I was 47yo when I had surgery and, as the cliche goes, I wish I had gotten it done years ago. And by the way, I was prepared to pay through the nose if necessary, but Adams' price was reasonable and competitive. I cannot recommend him enough. Interesting sidenote: While waiting in his reception area, I saw an attractive 20yo-ish patient and her equally attractive, well-dressed mother pass through. The daughter had just gotten surgery (she was a little groggy and was wearing a zip-up hoodie, per the post-op instructions banning pullovers). It occurred to me that Dr. Adams is probably the surgeon of choice for a certain social set in Dallas--i.e., women who want tasteful results and who therefore value the measurement system he uses for choosing the ideal implant size.
Dr Adams and his staff are beyond amazing!! He’s very thorough and accommodating.. Dr Adams as well as his staff made me feel very comfortable during my consultation and answered all my questions and concerns
Thank you for your question. I see this quite often in my practice. You are not alone, 100% of women have differences between their breasts. Some have more of a difference than others and can be improved. I recommend that you locate a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon that specializes in breast surgery. Based on the examples that you provided, it seems that a breast lift with possible placement of a breast implant would be recommended. If you are really young and your breast are still changing you should wait and discuss the correct timing to undergo the procedure with your surgeon. There is also Vectra 3D imaging available in some offices. This will allow you to see what your outcome could be during your consultations. Having a visual of possibilities will help you feel comfortable and confident in your decision. I hope this helps and I wish you the best.
Thank you for your question. Going with an implant size that fits your breast will give an appropriate look and a safer outcome. I recommend locating a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon that takes measurements of your breast to discuss options and decide the exact implant size with you during consultation. There is also Vectra 3D imaging available that will show a simulation of your own breast on your body. This will give you a visual to feel comfortable with recommendations and size.
Thank you for your question. An implant alone may cause you to be even more unhappy with your breast. This will give you a larger breast and cause more sagging. If you are not comfortable with the scars then you should wait. Understand that the scars are a trade- off, ask yourself what bothers you more, the appearance of your breast or the scars. There are a lot of great scar therapy creams that will help minimize the appearance of the scar. The vertical scar is actually the one that heals the best which is the scar that most patients are concerned about. You can also locate a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon that offers 3D imaging. The 3D imaging will show you what your breast would look like. This will show the potential and decide if you are ready for the procedure.

Teardrop shape implants are not idea for women that have lose skin due to the higher risk of rotation. You are definitely a breast lift candidate. There is 3D imaging available to show you what your breast would look like with a lift only as well as a lift with and implant.
