It's been 4 years since my procedure. I've had mixed feelings about my experience....both the procedure results and Dr Adams in Dallas. Being in my 50's, I am really happy that I don't need to wear a bra any longer and that I don't droop! But, beyond that, I'm NOT happy with three items about my results, which definitely affect how I feel in a revealing top (no cleavage) and about myself naked and with my husband in bed (feel deformed)1) my T incision came open when I removed the surgical tape and puss came oozing out. Scary! This created a delayed healing wound whereby I had to visit the Drs office weekly for 6 weeks or so...a big pain. When it finally healed (took forever, had a hole in my lower right breast), it healed lopsided so now that breast isn't round at the bottom as my other one. I believe now this happened because the implant dropped or never attached properly on my right breast. See more below on this. 2) my breasts have no fullness in the top and all is in the bottom half, so I have no cleavage. It's as if they am were placed to low or not the right size, shape or type? There should've been more fullness on top. I'm not sure if my case was more complicated because I had a lift/reduction along with implants? I was never told that when I expressed disappointment about no upper fullness. 3) when I got an X-ray for bronchitis, that implant has indeed dropped (or never attached properly) and isn't in the same position as my left breast. I suspected the implant had dropped within first several months, and even texted the Dr about this 5 month spot surgery as that breast looked lower and was red, but he didn't seem concerned and said it's not likely. Last year when I took the X-ray to a follow up (considering a redo), and told him I now have an X-ray showing it did indeed drop, he wasn't interested in seeing it. This irritated me. He also didn't offer a discount for a surgical redo. This also irritated me and I was disappointed once again. 4) my right nipple looks like the Dr sneezed when he cut it during surgery because one side looks like it has a notch taken out. The Dr nonchalantly told his assistant to send me to a tattoo artist to cosmetically fix that (which never happened, by the way). Overall, to pay around $10k for a procedure and have 4 things gone awry, I'd say this Dr and experience "not worth it"! The best part of this office is Christy. Her people skills and follow up are good. The Dr's bedside manner nor surgical skill, in my case, worth the investment. Buyer beware.
