I had surgery October 26th with a different surgeon in Newport Beach to upgrade my 800cc to 1600cc, the surgery went well however 1 week late I got a staph infection which caused me to be in the hospital with fevers for a week ( which is where I met dr schooler) and my right implant had to be removed and replaced with a 1300cc implant. I had to wait 3 whole months with one 1600 and one 1300cc boob because we had to wait for my right boob to recover and heal from the infection. A week ago I finally had the surgery to pump my right boob from 1300 to 1600cc, dr schooler is the surgeon who saved my right boob in the hospital and who filled up my right boob recently. He's incredibly kind and an amazing surgeon, I trust him completely especially after caring for me in the hospital and managing to save my right boob after suffering a bad infection. I will be posting post op surgery pics soon of my two 1600cc saline breast. Updated on 22 Feb 2021: My incision has completely healed I’m so happy with my 1600cc Updated on 26 Mar 2021: Girls are doing great! Love the results . I am a total researcher and was quite impressed when I found Dr Schooler. Not only is he double board certified in plastic surgery, his education and experience are exceptional, plus his before and after photo gallery is amazing too. Once I met him I knew he was the surgeon for me. Great personality/bedside manner and he takes the time to really listen to your wants and concerns. His wife is their anesthesiologist and she was just awesome. I got even better results than I was expecting. The entire experience was impeccable from start to finish. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Schooler and his staff.
So glad you made it to this site!!! First things first. I am 52, 130 lbs., 5’ 5” and “was” a 36 AA on a well hydrated day. When I made the decision to have breast implants I did my research, had consultations and read many reviews. I also work in health care so I am fortunate to have a little inside scoop when it comes to surgeons. Dr. Wesley Schooler was my choice and I am so incredibly happy with this decision. To start with his office staff are gems. They completely treat you as and honored family member from the very beginning. Dr. Schooler is exceptional. His attention to detail, artistry in surgery, genuine care and talent to listen is beyond anything I have every experienced in a surgeon. His team in the Operating Suite is fabulous; the love, care and professionalism that was given to me was extraordinary. In addition to an amazing staff and beautiful surgery; the follow-up care continued to impress me. I was remembered and checked in on by Dr. Schooler and his staff long after my surgery just to see how I was doing. So, moving on to today… I love the way I look. I can wear clothes that I had never been able to wear before. I am more confident. I go out more. I actually wore a bathing suit for the first time in decades. Dr. Schooler is the best without question. He changed my life in such a positive way. I look and feel more beautiful now than ever. If you are thinking about breast implants I highly encourage you to see Dr. Wesley Schooler.
I had my child 20 years ago and breast feed my child. After I finished breastfeeding, my breast were deflated. I have always wanted fuller breast and flatter tummy since. Dr. Schooler and his staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout the process.
Dr. Schooler and his staff are amazing! I highly recommend Dr Schooler for breast augmentation. He revised and fixed a breast augmentation that I was very unhappy with. I could not be happier with my results and had a wonderful experience with this office.
Overall my experience was so awesome. The faculty at Dr. Schoolers office made me feel comfortable and supported every decision I made. Doctor Schooler is very professional and has an amazing surgical touch. I’m very pleased with my proportional and natural results. I recommend 10/10 to consult and proceed with any procedures you might want to inquire.
I had a excellent experience with Dr. Schooler and his whole office staff, Dr. Schooler took the time and patience to explain the procedure and to always answer my questions during my recovery time. I would recommend Dr.Schooler to anyone who is dealing with any body issues. Special thanks to His MA Maria and to Amanda they both also helped me during the whole Process.
After going on a four year journey to change my figure from being short waisted due to scoliosis, I am content. I started with cool sculpting (I think I have done more cool sculpting than anyone on the planet) I decided to get a tummy tuck with liposuction to further contour my shape. Loss of weight in my upper abdomen due to my CS was a challenge, as I had no lower skin issues. Dr. Schooler was willing to make the positive effects of cool sculpting perfected.
I wanted to take a minute and thank ALL of you so very much for being so helpful and caring before, during and following my surgery. I struggled with the decision of getting a Breast lift for the past 8 years and 5 consultations later. I must say i felt most comfortable with Dr. Schooler as all consults the Dr.'s stated i would need a "lollipop" lift. I finally came to terms and was ok with the scaring. upon coming out of surgery i was informed Dr. Schooler was able to do a “donut,” lift! (which i originally wanted) Do you know how Happy i was!!?? Needless to say my breast are nice full perky breast! I feel amazing Everyone was so very genuine and professional and made my whole experience a comfortable one. You guys are definitely "THE DREAM TEAM" on top of everything I LOVE MY BOOBS! Thank You For A perfect Lift!
After researching many doctors, I definitely found the utmost talented and phenomenal surgeon. It took me over one year of visiting and researching doctors in and out of my area for me to have ultimately found the greatest surgeon. When a friend recommended Dr. Schooler because she was told by all of the nurses attending her family how great he was at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA and how he was dedicated and passionate with his work and was known as the best surgeon in the area, I knew in an instant he would be worth checking into. I honestly believe nurses know who the best doctors are. When I visited his office Lillana was very welcoming she made me feel comfortable and happy to be there, going for plastic surgery is a difficult decision, yet she stated it would change my life and I had come to the right doctor who cared about his patients. He took his time to meet and discuss with me what could be done and he made me feel of the utmost confidence in his practice. Being a big girl, he stated how much he believed he could do for me. When I visited other surgeons, they were also nice, yet they made me feel as though I was just another patient to their pocket book and would be one of several patients on the operating table that particular day of surgery. Their offices bombarded me with phone calls wanting to schedule my surgery because they were getting full, most offices were having 3-4 surgeries per day. On the other hand, Dr. Schooler made me feel good about my decision and explained to me honestly what he could and could not do for me. I would be his only patient that day. His office staff makes one feel as if we knew each other for years. Theresa’s wonderful spirit assures you on surgery day all will be fine and she is the most caring and attentive nurse I have every met. Ms. Schooler (anethistialist) is just as amazing as her wonderful husband, she is phenomenal. I can’t explain in words how wonderful the entire team is. Their support before and after surgery is beyond any expectation, Thank you my new dear friends at Dr. Schooler’s office you have changed my life. All the doctors had I researched/visited wanted to perform surgery right away after our initial meeting and never questioned the issue with my legs, I had previous vein surgery and had difficulties of swelling and other issues. Dr. Schooler would not perform surgery unless I was cleared by a vascular doctor. He is definitely a surgeon who cares for his patients. I am now a changed person, my whole life has been incredible, I went from a size 18 pants to 14 from my tummy tuck and lipo. I went from a 1-2X top to a medium. YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! I am still in amazement on how well he did. I can assure you I gained these results because Dr. Schooler is performing his work out of his love for the best possible results in a person. I am so grateful for his work he performed on me it literally was a miracle in making. My results are off the charts amazing. Look no further he is of the utmost skilled and dedicated surgeons, who are there to create your desired outcome. You can also research into all of his recognitions nationwide and statewide you will then understand how sensational his work is. He is a perfectionist and that is the key attribute for a plastic surgeon. Updated on 17 Aug 2016: After researching many doctors, I definitely found the utmost talented and phenomenal surgeon. Thank you for your question. If your original surgeon is a board certified plastic surgeon, you definitely should seek their advice on revision surgery, and should expect some consideration of a discount to improve your symmetry. You would need an exam for confirmation, but appear to have a capsule contracture on one side, and this can usually be corrected. You might also require a lift with augmentation revision to obtain the best results.
There are deep sutures placed during a tummy tuck that usually are long lasting but dissolvable sutures. As they dissolve, it can create inflammation and purulent drainage that looks like an infected pimple. You should discuss it with your surgeon, as you could also have infected mesh or permanent sutures causing the sinus tract.
Hi. Sorry about your frustration. It's not easy to see from your photo, but you might require both new larger implants and a revision of your lift to further tighten the skin envelope. If you just add extremely large implants alone, you might quickly sag even further.
Thank you for your question. You should seek a consultation from a board certified plastic surgeon. It's very hard to give you much of an opinion without at least photographs. If you are a 36D currently, adding large implants could contribute to further drooping, or ptosis of your breasts unless combined with a lift. One thing to consider is that the large "Pam Anderson" look is difficult to maintain and requires revision surgeries over years to prevent progressive drooping.
Congratulations on your surgery. You might have had some previous bleeding into the tissues. The discoloration is from resolving bleeding/bruising. Your skin might change colors from orange to yellow before back to it's normal color.
