Volkan Kahya, MD - Account Suspended

I visited Dr volkan fir a nose job in Feb 2022 and now my nose is fully healed id like to give a review. I am half white and half black Caribbean and my nose was difficult to do as I had a mixture of wide nostrils,a bulbous tip, a bump in my nose bridge and a deviated septum. I was a little bit apprehensive as I havent seen many ethnic nose jobs with him but, I trusted his good review and I had the 3D scan done which i was happy with .Dr volkan and his staff were very nice and accommodating all the way through, they even fit me in when my flights had changed to a earlier one. Post op i was scared of my nose as it was very swollen but after 4 months it went down a lot and now it is perfect. I get compliments most days and I absolutely love my profile and side profile. He gave me the best nose which is also functional as i can now breathe put of both nostrils. I also had an issue of my tip lowering when i smile which has resolved :) I am happy i had this procedure with Dr Volkan.

Ich folge ihm schon seit 2016 auf Instagram und es war die beste Entscheidung diesen Schritt meines Lebens bei ihm zu machen!!!
Sehr lange habe ich darauf gewartet ihn kennenzulernen und diesen Schritt zu wagen... und das warten hat sich gelohnt!!!
Er ist ein echter Profi in seiner Arbeit und total sympatisch und lustig zugleich :) Er hat auch noch ein echt tolles Team. Vielen lieben Dank auch an seine Assistentin "Emine" sie war während der gesamten Aufenthalt stets höflich und hilfsbereit, war so lieb und hat meine ganzen Medikamente für mich besorgt. Ein Medikament musste nachbestellt werden... sogar dies hat sie mir nachträglich am nächsten Tag persönlich ins Hotel gebracht!! Der Aufenthalt im Krankenhaus (die 1. Nacht nach der OP) war perfekt!!! Es war ein privates Luxuszimmer mit einem fantastischen Meerblick!! Die Krankenschwestern waren alle sooo führsorglich und nett!!! Haben mir jede Stunde ohne, dass ich was sagen musste Eiswürfel gebracht sogar in der Nacht ohne Unterbrechung (was ganz wichtig ist)!!!
Der gesamte Ablauf verlief reibungslos, sanft & unkompliziert. Und ganz wichtig es war ABSOLUT SCHMERZFREI!!! Bis auf die Schwellung im Gesicht hatte ich absolut gar nichts... weder blaue Flecken oder Nasen/Kopfschmerzen!!! Bei meiner Entscheidung wie ich meine Nasenspitze haben möchte war ich mir sehr unsicher... ich wollte etwas sehr natürliches aber auch zugleich eine dünn/schmale und leicht stupsige Nase... er hat mich richtig eingeschätzt... er wusste genau womit ich zufrieden sein werde... und hat die perfekte Nase passend für mein Gesicht gezaubert... jetzt ist es genau 1 Monat her seit meiner Operation im Dezember... und ich bin jetzt schon sehr sehr sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis

Before making the choice to have nose surgery I didn't know where to start. Luckily a friend of mine told me about Dr. Volkan. I had surgery on December 6th. initially I was very worried because I live in London and I know that I would have to face this journey alone. I have to admit that his entire team treated me the best. I met Doctor Volkan for the first time the day before my operation, he gave me a 3D simulation of what my chosen nose shape would be. He is a very good, professional and prepared person. I got along very well with him! His staff and assistants are also great! In the hospital I was treated like a princess! At the moment my nose is still swollen but I can already see the shape I asked for. I'll update you in a month!

Dr Volkan is a really lovely surgeon and I felt very at ease in his surgery. His clinic is a lovely space and his assistants are friendly and professional.

The whole process was very smooth from start to finish thanks to his detailed information and fast replies on WhatsApp.

My recovery was amazing I had hardly any bruising and my swelling went down fairly quickly. Dr Volkan listened to my requests during the consultation and gave me exactly what I asked for! I am in love with my new nose and it has gave me so much more confidence.

After reading some positive and negative reviews, it’s time for me to share my positive experience with dr. Volkan Kahya. From A till Z everything went very good, like communication to services, the surgery but also the aftercare. I made contact with the doc per instagram and showed him my old situation. I send him also some pics like how i wanted my new nose if the possibility was there. He was so nice from the beginning and very honest, that’s what i want from a doc to be honest and straight. After we talked about everything, we made an appointment during COVID-19. I had a very good feeling about everything and it definitly turned out like that. On the day i had my 3D pictures, the doc really tooked time for me. I was there like 1,5 hour and talked about the whole proces and showed me the 3D pictures. Great job! That means that he really takes time for his patients!!! Just before the surgery i can remember that he was with me in the hospital and talked sweet words that i was in really good hands and there was no need to be scared. After all, the hospital was Memorial in Bahcelievler and i felt like being in a 5* hotel! It was sooo big and clean and absolutely beautiful, the rooms were amazing! After the OP i remember that i did not had pain at all! I looked like i was 1 month in coma but i felt actually amazing. I was so happy to see my new nose. The days after i had good contact with the doc and his team, they helped me really good with everything and the communication was like every few hours. The day before i’d flew back to my country, i had my final control at the doc’s office and i was sooo happy after he removed the cover from my nose. I’ve noticed that i had no problems with breathing or something, thank God. That was something i was scared off but absolutely no need!!! We made some pictures and he gived me some silicones to use for 3 months. He gaved me some homework like massaging during the day and put in the silicones at sleeping and using the medicins at the right way. After i went home, the communication was still there!!! I wroted him everyday and tagged him on instagram just to show him how happy i was with the result. Yes it was swollen but absolutely beautiful, just like how i wanted. I do not like a barbie-nose oder too small for my face and he listened to my wishes. A year later i went again to Istanbul to have the yearly control, he confirmed me that everything on the in- and outside was good. I did not expected something else ofcourse!!! Now i am 1 year and 2 monts PO but i am still a very happy woman. Women do like perfection and after a surgery, women expect more and more but let’s be honest: nobody got a perfect nose, that is impossible! For me my nose is almost perfect and i am glad i can say that. What i like about dr. Volkan Kahya is that the communication is always there. He and his team do not keep me waiting but always immediately answers my messages. Besides that he is a doc that listings to his patients and is very honest. If a nose does not suits you, he will say that. If something is not possible, he will say that. I’ve rather have a honest doc instead a doc that is not honest and does everything for the patients just for the money. I have experiened that dr. Kahya has heart for his job and his patients!!! Dr. Volkan Kahya is everything a doc needs to be!!! Very happy with everything, thanks again hocam!!!

Ive had my nosejob done by volkan. He is a very good doktor and i love my nose now. The Doktors treated me very well and i loved it. The hospital was very beautiful. I've never thought to get such a good result. It didnt take very long to recover and after 10 days it already looked very good.

Volkan was amazing - from his bedside manner to how he explained everything, I know he really cared! I’m only 12 days PO BUT already love my nose. The after care was a little lagging in responding but I was also very anxious. I had two post op appointments before I flew home and felt I still had a ton of dry blood boogers but they may not be able to be cleaned bc they’re connected to stitches? Idk but I trust him and appreciated his work! His assistant is so sweet too. Beware of post surgical depression from anesthesia though! Kicked my ass PO day 1-2

I had my rhinoplasty done with Dr. Volkan at the beginning of august of 2021.

To begin, researching doctors in Turkey was a scary process. There are so many good doctors out there that really you just have to find the one whose nose styles you like the most. I chose Dr. Volkan because I liked his natural style noses, and he seemed like a very skilled surgeon. When I contacted his assistant they were very helpful :) Their English is limited but they do an amazing job and they are very friendly. They answered all my questions, although sometimes it would take a while due to the time difference.

Due to COVID I had to reschedule 3 times and they were helpful with that as well! Very nice of them to help me out rearranging my dates.

I also contacted the doctor himself on Instagram and he was nice and responded very quickly.

The surgery itself was mostly a breeze. The consultation was the most surprising part because Dr. Volkan asked me a lot of questions to get to know me, and asked me to describe what I wanted my nose to look like. He did a 3D morph of my nose and got my dream nose right the first time around which I was impressed with. It was beautiful work:)

He came to see me right before the surgery to make sure I didn't have any questions and his assistant also visited and gave me a few mints to help with not brushing my teeth which was so nice lol

Surgery happened quickly, the hospital was very modern and clean. I recommend bringing someone with you because although there's no pain, you can't bend over or make a lot of effort

I went to see Dr Volkan again after a week and took my cast off, he said not to worry as the tip of my nose will drop and swelling will change how it looks like. I wanted to cry cause I looked like a pig lol, but I listened to him. It is a bit over a month post op now and my nose looks fantastic, although the top and bridge is still a bit swollen!

My scars are minimal and fading quickly. He reduced my columella which I was very insecure about and shaved the hump to give me a straight but natural looking nose. I know he has bad reviews but every doctor has a certain percentage of "failures", if you can call them that. Dr. Volkan is skilled and caring, everyone's skin type and scarring is different so your result will depend on so many factors. I'm taking care of my nose and being patient with the swelling but so far, I can 100% vouch for Dr. Volkan :)
