I have been using Vaser almost exclusively for the last 10 years even though I have about 3 other Laser Lipo Machines. &nbsp;Remember that Vaser is a great machine , &nbsp;but it does have it's limitations. &nbsp;If you are obese or just have a lot of overlying skin this is not the procedure for you, &nbsp;The best way to find out is to talk several physician's and ask them how many procedures they have done and what kind of results the would expect in your specific situation. &nbsp;Most physicians will not want to do a procedure unless they believe that you will get a good or excellent result. &nbsp;I rather be straight with a patient and tell them if they need a different procedure than have one&nbsp;unhappy patient that will tell everyone just what bad doc you are. &nbsp;Don't be afraid to discuss the pros and cons of any procedure. &nbsp;Remember even the best Harvard Docs have some type complication. &nbsp;If they say they haven't they are either lying or just have done many procedures.

I don’t want a tummy tuck as I don’t have kids yet I’m still loosing down 30 pounds.

Every doctor has his or her preference in how they inject Botox. &nbsp;Most physicians have the patient sitting comfortably with a minimal tilt to their neck. &nbsp;The idea is to make sure that the patient is relaxed and the procedure can be done with minimal discomfort. &nbsp;I strongly believe that patient's should fond a physician they trust and like his or her results and stick to that physician. &nbsp;Shopping around for Botox at every corner may be cheaper, &nbsp;but you will not get the same results from the physician who has been treating you on a regular basis. &nbsp;

Got botox a few days ago and the doctor had me reclined (not totally lying down but reclined) and my head turned toward her. Is that problematic? My friend said she sits upright for injections. What if the botox flowed toward that side she had me turning my head toward? She injected while I had my head turned toward her and I was reclined. Appreciate your thoughts.

Botox is a great place to start and adding some filler around your eyes my reduce any hollow areas that you may have. &nbsp;The trick is to not over correct around the eyes. &nbsp;Also make sure your physician is using some type of cannula to inject the filler around the eyes since it is a lot safer. &nbsp;I can tell just by your picture if you do have some hollow areas around your eyes, &nbsp;but if you do adding a small amount of filler does make you look refreshed and rejuvenated.

The Botox is specifically for my crow's feet area and the filler is for my under eye area. Would the Botox need to be applied anywhere else other than my crow's feet for best results?

Well fortunately with all the latest advances in esthetic medical procedures you have a lot to choose from. &nbsp;The simplest of course is to start with some Botox around the eyes. &nbsp;The rest are numerous and I would definitely consider a CO2 treatment around the eyes such as the Madonna Lift. &nbsp;If you need some treatment for the hollowness around the eyes Bellafill with the use of a fine canal also works great. &nbsp;If you just need some tightening a skin tightener such as the Ellman &nbsp;Pelleve works great. &nbsp;If you have a lot of extra skin a surgical Blepharoplasty may be an option also. &nbsp;Just remember that every patient has a different set of needs and expectations, &nbsp;and what would make one patient extremely happy may not please another patient. &nbsp;So be sure to tell your physician exactly what you are looking for in a procedure and how aggressive you want to be with any type of treatment.

I’m 48 years old. I get Botox for crows feet and also had filler in the apples of my cheeks. I have a history of melasma but seem to have that fairly under control. Fraxel seems to worsen my melasma so I would like to avoid that.

What treatment would you recommend for fine lines and wrinkled skin under my eyes, in my tear duct area and my upper eyelids?

Every ones face is asymmetric, &nbsp;that is no one has perfect symmetry to both sides of your face. &nbsp;That is I guess why some people like to get just one sided pictures. &nbsp;Any way as physicians we try to decrease the asymmetry that exist in patients. &nbsp;That is true whether we do any Liposuction procedure, Tummy Tucks, Breast Augmentation or any filler. &nbsp; Even a simple procedure such as Botox requires some attempt at correction of the patient asymmetry. &nbsp;If a patient has more pronounced hollowed area in one cheek we inject more filler into the cheek. &nbsp;If a patient has more pronounced fat on side of her or his love handles or abdomen the physician will try to adjust by removing more fat from the more pronounced ares. &nbsp;Even a simple Blepharoplasty will require the physician to assess both eyelids and many time remove more skin from one side. &nbsp;After all that if you see a major difference with one side versus the other talk to your physician and he may just opt to do a minor touch up on the area that has the most asymmetry.

Hi doctors. I have a serious question. I had my jawline done almost a week ago, it’s been a couple of days that I noticed one side of jaw is abit smaller than the other side. It was okay in the beginning but I had a crazy amount of swelling so I had to wait to look normal. Now the swelling is gone but I can see a minor asymmetry, is it normal? Please help I can’t contact my doctor since he is out of the town for a while. Thanks

Is asymmetry after filler in my jawline normal?

Unfortunately scars can be very problematic and require a very specialized approach to each situation. &nbsp;Some elevated and irregular surgical scars may require some surgical revision and CO2 laser treatments. &nbsp;For other scars which may be caused by a deep peel a combination CO2 with additional modalities may be your best bet. &nbsp;As far as the PRP use that should not have left any scar so the reason for your scar was not the PRP. &nbsp;The use of a CO2 Laser may benefit scars and an IPL laser may reduce the redness associated with scarring. &nbsp; As for as the deep open pores the CO2 lasers may definitely help reduce those .

I did my tca30% cross for my minor scars and left for 2 hours. Now I'm left with brown marks and scarring. My dr did 1 picosure and prp injection 3 days back but I see no improvement at all. Is co2 a better option as I also want to get rid of scars and open pores.

Some of the swelling and&nbsp;filler effect will decrease in the next 6 months. &nbsp; The great thing about Bellafill is that it will continue to work much longer than most other fillers and give you a nice smooth look. &nbsp;In 3 to 6 months you and your physician can reassess the area and see if you need a little touch up, &nbsp;but fortunately Bellafill will last so much longer than most fillers and the results are so natural that most of your friends won't know what you had done just that you look much more refreshed and rejuvenated.

I am very happy with the immediate results, but as each day goes by, the swelling goes down, so does the volume that I saw the first day. I understand that my body will absorb the collagen and therefore lose volume, but will my body eventually replace the same amount of collagen that I once had after the injections? Is it safe to say that my replaced volume will be the same as the one I received in the initial injections, or only a small portion will get replaced? What can I expect?

Just had 8 syringes of Bellafill in my face. I am happy with the immediate results, will I see the same results in 3-6 months?

Unfortunately as with any filler you can inject too much. &nbsp;The nice thing is that it will go down. &nbsp;Give it a month or so and the reassess your face. &nbsp;If one cheek seems to be a lot &nbsp;bigger well consider adding a little to the other cheek. &nbsp;The main thing for now is just to give it time for it to settle down and give you that natural look that most patients get. &nbsp;The only time I have encountered anyone with this problem was when they just had it done and were&nbsp;still a little swollen after the procedure. &nbsp;Be patient for now.

First time I objected bellafill was 2 months ago on the two side of my face and on my chin area, and I injected again 10 days ago.But I noticed that I was overfilled especially the left side. I don’t look the same at all. I am very worried if it will last like that, the second time the doctors did the cheek bone area to balance but I think 5 syringes in totall is too much any ideas?

Bellafill is a great filler for cheeks and any hollow areas. &nbsp;I have been using Bellafill previously Artefill for over a decade. &nbsp;It gives very natural results and is easy to inject. &nbsp;I love the smoothness of Bellafill and it's long lasting effects.

Can Bellafill be used for hollowed cheeks and are the results immediate?

Some things may be out of your control, &nbsp;but there are things that the patient can do to minimize swelling after a Vaser procedure to the lower extremities. &nbsp;Using some type of compression garment will helping the length of use can be different depending on patients and physician preference. &nbsp;Second; &nbsp;elevating your legs when possible may also help. &nbsp;Avoiding prolonged standing after a procedure may also help. &nbsp; Third: &nbsp;Avoid use of&nbsp;large amounts of salt in your diet since this may also cause some swelling. &nbsp; &nbsp;Fourth; &nbsp;Lymphatic massage may help reduce some of the fluid in your legs. &nbsp;This may be done with some different machines such as the Vaser Smooth or Cutera's Triactive. &nbsp;If these machines are not available you&nbsp;may have &nbsp;a good massage therapist do traditional lymphatic massage to your legs.

Can I use compression on knees to help alleviate swelling caused by vaser lipo to inner/outer thighs? I’ve 8 days post tt with lipo to flanks and thighs.

How can I reduce swelling to knees following vaser lipo to thighs?
