I have had acne to my back and shoulders as long as I can remember with it getting worse or better over the years. I have been to Dermatologist before with minimal effectiveness. I was getting back facials 2x a month, googles an effective treatment. Using 10% benzo wash 2x, differin gel at night, 10% benzo cream in the morning on any active red breakouts. It helped control things about 75%. However I have hyperpigmentation (dark spots) all over my back and shoulders from past breakouts I found a dermatologist that takes my issues seriously. Starting a new treatment. With prescription grade retinol, Clindamycin foam, for treatment, and chemical peels to my back. The peels and the retinol are suppose to help with the hyperpigmentation. I'm trying this step first before laser treatment. Due to the fact that I realize the pain and cost. Updated on 11 Jun 2017: For the first 3 days the color of my skin was really red in the area the applied the peel. It's starting peel. It's nice because I can actually see where the hyperpigmentation is/was and it peeling off. The skin under it looks completely normal or 75-80% lighters the darkest areas. The middle of my back has not started to peel. There is no pain but rather just really itchy. I just have to not scratch at it, and pat the skin. I'm very surprised that I'm seeing results. They said people need like 6 peels some times. I only bought 3. So I'm hoping with that plus the Retin-A (Tretinoin) that will do it. Here is hoping. Updated on 16 Jul 2017: One peel. Haven't gone back for the next and using the Retin A every other day. *note the price I paid was for a series of 3 Big thing I notice is no new pimples at all with the combination of treatment. I have such oil skin to my back and that is gone. The marks have gotten better. About 50%, my significant other says he thinks it looks better than I do, but I'm urssing he sees it more than I do being he is theone scrubbing my back and applying the creams. I need to schedule my next peel. The peeling process is itchy and had to remind myself not to pick and pull at the skin. It just comes off in big pieces. Which was kinda gross. When your laying in bed and have to dust off the skin flakes. Lol Updated on 16 Jul 2017: I forgot to mention it isn't just scarring but the active acne as well. To my face and back. My face has 100% cleared up. I didn't not have a peel to my face but with the medicine and the Retin A. 95% of the dark marks have gone, plus I had this weird hyper pigmentation in the middle of my face. It had started happening a few months back. It was only on the center not on the side of my cheeks. That I have seen about a 50% difference it is there but so much lighter. I think the biggest differences I can go outside and not have to you where make up. And the fact that I can wear make up. I was having such a problem with my skin being so oily that wearing make up was a struggle. I had oil blotting sheets are use make up setting spray, and at least every hour I have to re-powder my face because of the oil. Even though it's not 100% gone it's giving me more of a normal life I'm not constantly worried about my pimple or my dark marks on my face. I do not apply the Retin-A to my face daily. I do it every other day, because it causes redness and peeling. I can see the only bad side about this. Is that I have to stay out of the sun completely, and wear sunscreen. Living in Texas and missing out on all the summer fun can be a pain. However I'm undergoing laser hair removal and laser tattoo removal so either way I can't get in the sun. I guess this year is my year dedicated to self-improvement
Living in the Houston area for the past 15 years, I have been treated by many dermatologists for a variety of issues. Dr. Tricia Brown’s compassionate approach and outstanding skills have made me a loyal patient. Unlike other dermatology offices where I refuse to return, the entire staff is pleasant, respectful, and never tries to upsell additional treatments on their latest piece of equipment. I have been extremely pleased with my results of Botox and fillers, injected by Dr. Brown herself. Her techniques are far superior to my experiences at other cosmetic practices. She has removed moles without complications, and her prescription for toenail fungus actually works. My advice is, “When you’ve found the best, don’t mess with the rest!” Updated on 21 Jan 2015: My mole removal visit was on a different occasion with Dr. Brown, not related to my cosmetic injection procedures. I do not have before/after photos. Each mole was about 3 mm in diameter. Dr. Brown's visual assessment of my two itchy moles was that they were benign. One was just below my bra line, and the other at my left side ribs. Dr. Brown ran biopsies on both, just to make sure that they were benign. She swiftly and painlessly removed them after applying a little anesthetic. Her staff processed the procedure through my health insurance, so I just had to pay the deductible. I am planning to have Dr. Brown remove a few more moles in the near future.
OMG!!!! Talk about professional and efficient office. I called in desperate need of a dermatologist and when I called they didn't have an opening. I was very upset of course, and I knew I needed to see someone ASAP. I really didn't want to go see anybody else as Dr. Brown was highly recommended.. I explained my situation to Stephanie and asked her if she could please call me if they had a cancellation. On that afternoon, I received a call from her stating if I would come in early the next morning. I really appreciate her for taking the time in calling me to inform me they had a cancellation. I showed up the next day early @7:00 am. I was very pleased as how fast and efficient they were in taking me to a room. It was my first time at their office and when I saw Dr. Brown she made me feel very comfortable. She listened to me and was very patient listening to my complaint. She took her time listening to what I had to say. I ended up having to have a biopsy and she was very knowledgeable and might I add she didn't hurt me at all. I didn't feel no pain at all. I am and will continue to see Dr. Brown for any future appointments. I highly recommend her to anybody who is in need of a dermatologist. Her staff was also very sweet and efficient. I thank Stephanie again for giving me an opportunity to see Dr. Brown in such a short notice. Dr. Brown is the bomb, she is amazing and awesome!!!!!
My experience with Dr Brown and Dypsort was great. The staff was nice and everything went as I expected. Since this was my first time to do anything like this I was a little hesitant - thinking people would be able to tell what I was doing. The result were immediate - 1 to 2 days and looks natural. No one has asked, not even my grown children if I had anything done - it just looks natural. Dr. Brown explained step by step what she was doing and it turn out exactly like she said, went back to work right afterwards. No pain and the result were great. I would highly recommend Dr. Brown. Since I plan on working past the age of 70 and no matter what they say, you looks matter. Thanks Dr. Brown!

I prefer Radiesse injections to augment the chin, jawline, and cheeks. We get great results with using a thicker filler for these areas. Implants provide a more permanent result, but many of our patients do not want to undergo surgery or have a permanent foreign object implanted. It is important to ensure that your physician or injector has excellent training and experience with these areas. Complications can occur with a novice injector.
Our office charges $350 for a session, which typically lasts 20 minutes. There is a limit to the amount of solution that can safely be injected per session. It is most important to insure that you have qualified and trained physician who is practicing in his or her trained specialty.
