Dr. Baker and his team are FABULOUS! I found him via a friends recommendation. I met him and two weeks later I did my surgery as soon as elective surgery re-opened in May 2020. Although I was petrified of the operation, it could not have gone better and I am so thankful and grateful for Dr. Baker & his amazing team. Everyone was incredibly kind, thoughtful and caring. They are the masters at their craft and I had complete trust. My experience was exceptional and I highly recommend for anything and everything!! - Liz S.
I got a breast reduction recently from Dr. Baker! I went from a D to a small B, which is exactly what I wanted! Dr. Baker and his entire staff were so amazing. They literally treat you like family! Before I met Dr. Baker, I had consultations with a couple other plastic surgeons who were dismissive and told me my desired results couldn’t be achieved without breast implants on top of a breast reduction, which is something I never wanted. I was so discouraged until I had my consultation with Dr. Baker and he understood my goals and thought it was totally possible. And the results were beautiful!! I would recommend Dr. Baker to anyone.
Thrilled with the results from my blepharoplasty with Dr. Baker! I knew needed surgery but had been hesitant and nervous to do it. I was tired of looking tired and after a year of featuring my eyes while wearing a COVID mask, I decided to make a change. Dr. Baker's skill is exceptional. The results are very very natural. I look like my best self. The entire experience was literally and figuratively painless. Beyond grateful for Dr. Baker and his staff. My only regret was not having done it with him earlier!
If you have unrealistic expectations this is not your man, but if you want a natural, rejuvenating makeover, with no pulled or tugged skin, you’ve hit the jackpot! I did a lot of homework and studied a lot of pictures before I settled on Tracy Baker. Went to consults in Stuart, Palm Beach and Miami, a total of four and I’m talking highly referred surgeons. The proof is in the pudding; I pay attention to detail one of the biggest blunders I have seen is the pulled muppet mouth; or joker look. You can go thru Dr: Baker’s portfolio; not one case of anybody overdone; he’s a perfectionist. On top of having the reputation of being the top in his field here in south Florida; he has the bed side manners and the personality to match his skill! First thing he did was give me his cell an told me to call him with any questions or concerns. Three days after my lower facelift I was out and about; 10 days after I attended a wedding. I have a GF who went to a surgeon in Palm Beach; she had unrealistic expectations and they gave her what she wanted; but her mouth is pulled and it does not look natural she’s now coming to Baker for a revision. I know have four GF’s who are all sold on Baker. You get what you pay for and your face is not a time to consider basement bargains. The staff here is off the chain; this is not my first rodeo with cosmetic surgeons but I can tell you it’s been my best experience ever. If you have any concerns ask Elizabeth at his office Clara McCutcheon
I've had an amazing experience with Dr. Baker! He takes his time to explain the procedure and post op. Besides his beautiful work, he has great bedside manner. You can tell he is a perfectionist and loves his job. His staff is always helpful and kind and very professional. I have also recommended him and have not been let down!
I brought my boyfriend to see Dr. Baker, who already had a great reputation in Plastic Surgery as did his father. He performed an upper and lower eyelid surgery on my BF and also a dermabrasion on his nose at the same time. We stayed at the hotel right next door and it was a great experience. Dr. Baker is very detailed in his explanations, he has an eye for detail and the understanding and skill to back everything up. He is, hands down, the best PS in South Florida. I recommend him to all my friends. Great personality. You will love him.
It was a grate experience from the front door the staff was helpful and vary nice Dr. Baker fully expand every thing and I was out quick but did not feel like I was rushed out the door to make room for the next person. I also loved the fact that it was all so personalized it did not feel like I was at a car dealership or a dollar sign.
- [ ] June 21, 2023 breast lift with Dr. Tracy Baker. - [ ] I paid extra to spend the night at his facility nevertheless, he never came to see me. They just discharged me after waiting for him for hours.- [ ] June 23, 2023 I called Dr. Tracy Baker’s office and asked to be seen because my nipples and areolas were turning purple. The nurse Noelia told me that I would have to wait until my week postop appointment that it was normal for them to turn purple. (I called and emailed for a few days asking begging to be seen and she told me I would have to wait).- [ ] June 29, 2023 at my follow up appointment with Dr. Tracy Baker. He informed me that I had necrosis and that I would need to have Leach treatment. - [ ] June 30, 2023 I was leeched (5 long leaches on each breast) for about 3 1/2 hours at Dr. Tracy Baker’s office. I asked him how would I know if it the treatment would work and he said if the leeches bite it will work.- [ ] July 1, 2023 I received my second leaching treatment which also took about 3 1/2 hours. My ride was running 15 minutes late and the nurse asked me to wait outside of the building because the building would close at two and I would be locked inside the building in the lobby. I fainted due to the loss of blood ???? due to two consecutive over three hour sessions of leeching. I suffered the most horrible fall I’ve ever had. - [ ] Finally, on July 3, 2023 I received my third and final leaching treatment. - [ ] I noticed my breast were getting worse instead of better I emailed and called and reported it to the nurse. She said it was normal.- [ ] When I ask Dr. Baker to remove the implants and start to debridement he said that it would mess up all the pocket work he did. So he waited.- [ ] Finally, July 17, 2023 I had my first debridement. I had a debridement every day that week, except for Thursday.- [ ] Friday, July 21, 2023 after the debridement procedure I was told that on Monday, July 24, 2023 they would do an additional debridement, removing my nipples as well. - [ ] July 24, 2023 I had to sign the consent for debridement of my nipples with Dr. Baker’s coordinator Elizabeth Betancourt. She stated that the reason this happen to you is because of all those breast surgeries. No empathy whatsoever. She was under the impression that I had many breast surgery with other doctors because she could only find my records from 2016. - [ ] July 24, 2023 Dr. Baker before removing my nipples told me that he had spoken to his buddy Dr. Louis P. Bucky, from Harvard medical school. Dr. Bucky and told him to take off those nipples and he would fly in and have dinner with him and create me the best most beautiful nipples I’ve ever seen. He then told me that he spoke to the board that governs plastic surgeons regarding this issue and reported that what messed up this Procedure was the technique that the surgeon used in 1998 and 1999 for breast augmentation. And that he does not do that technique. I reminded him in front of his OR nurse Stephanie that it was him that did those two procedures for me. He asked Dr. Ramirez the anesthesiologist to pull up his records on the computer in the operating room to confirm. Dr. Ramirez the anesthesiologist confirmed that Dr. Tracy Baker performed my procedures in 1998 and 1999 (I have audio of the entire conversation as well as audio from other sessions of wound healing). I suffered bilateral nipple areola complex necrosis with deep wounds. About 3 inches deep and 3 inches in width or more. Now that I do not have to have my wounds cared for a need a reconstruction, and Dr. Baker said that he cannot provide. Post op care for me. He is not qualified for this type of reconstruction.- [ ] I will never have Ariola’s again. They will be tattooed on. I am receiving psychotherapy every Wednesday at lunchtime. Updated on 24 Nov 2023: I am currently seeking a reconstruction facility. I may have to have a DIEP Flap reconstructive procedure which is done using tissue from your lower abdominal. I received a quote from a reconstruction center and Louisiana for $80,000 not including travel and accommodations. Updated on 24 Nov 2023: I called the nurse Noelia and she told me I had to wait until my week follow up. She said it was normal for them to turn purple. I was in excruciating pain. After, I lost my breast she said “you are getting a revision”. Updated on 4 Dec 2023: He is supposed to refund me if he can’t fix what he messed up. I have no nipples, areolas, and my mental health! I have the right to create a go fund me account for my reconstruction. Since, he refuses to pay for my bilateral breast reconstruction. Updated on 7 Dec 2023: Letter from the Florida Department of Health. The investigator just contacted me today. He will need to have an interview with me in order to proceed with the investigation. I hope they can help me and others. Most of all, Florida should not allow surgeons to operate without malpractice insurance. Updated on 12 Dec 2023: I have an appointment at Miami Cancer Institute at Baptist Hospital. There are two more affordable options but I would have to travel - PRMA Plastic Surgery in San Antonio, TX with Dr. Gassman and Center for Restorative Breast Surgery, LLC in New Orleans, LA with Dr. Scott Sullivan. If anyone can recommend a good reconstructive facility I would appreciate it. Updated on 19 Dec 2023: I need my $17,000 back in order to put it towards my reconstruction. He insists that I sign a non disclosure which would include deleting my reviews so no women will have adequate warning. Although I have filed a complaint with the Florida Department of Health it seems as if they don’t discipline surgeons at all because I was told they need authorization from Dr. Tracy Baker’s attorney Mr. Ramon Abadin in order to interview him. So, I do not count. Updated on 20 Dec 2023: What are the complications of leech therapy? Complications were divided into five categories including infection, allergy, prolonged bleeding, migration, and others. Infection is the most-reported complication related to leech therapy and Aeromonas spp. has the most participation in infections. In my case the nurse removed several leeches with alcohol with makes the leeches release bacteria. Updated on 24 Dec 2023: I must agree that anyone can get necrosis having a breast lift. My question is how many responsible doctors/surgeons will wait over three weeks to start debridement? In my recovery I have been to my gynecologist, and many other professionals for example, Miami Breast Institute where I do my cancer screening, and they have advised me that the fact that he waited is MALPRACTICE! When I asked him to, please take out the implant and start to bent a few days after the leaching therapy he said that all his work would be wasted. As a result, I suffered deeply what I could never put in words. please see attached pictures. Updated on 26 Dec 2023: Dr. Tracy Baker was too busy in the operating room when it was time to discharge me and provide my 24 hour follow up. Instead, I was just discharged by nurse Noelia. Please note that when I woke up in my room after my surgery the nurse that was supposed to take care of me was too busy talking on her cell phone to help me. I had to climb out of the bed because i didn’t know how to lower the side rail. I fended for myself after my procedure. Nevertheless when the nurse shift changed, I was very well taken care of by nurse Lucy. She noticed me going to the bathroom by myself and asked me what are you doing. Then, she explained that I’m not supposed to do anything right after surgery and that was what she was there for. - never wait if you are told that purple nipples are normal. Show up regardless and demand to be seen not that in my case that would have helped. At my weekly follow up appointment I was just scheduled for leeching therapy. Having no drains and no pedicle planning for procedure due to record issues - I HAD NO CHANCE! Updated on 31 Dec 2023: It is New Year Eve 2024 and I’m traumatized from the most horrific experience I have ever endured. I believe this could all have been avoided if Dr. Tracy Baker/Baker Plastic Surgery would take less patience at a time. They are extremely understaffed, and that is one of the primary reasons I am home botched suffering on New Year’s Eve. Baker Plastic Surgery and Dr. Tracy Baker are just like getting caught up in hostile territory where anything goes. Updated on 4 Jan 2024: Throughout the leeching therapy the nurse if she could take photos of my breast with the black long leeches sucking my blood ????. I had five on each breast. Not knowing that this leech therapy was only delaying my only chance to save my breast at that time (which would require immediately removing the implants and start debridement), I agreed. I have requested those photos several times and been rejected. The surgeon will use them and most likely profit from them as well. So, never let yourself in this situation consent to photos. I was a project. That is how he would address me “my little project”. Updated on 7 Jan 2024: The most surprising and sad part of this experience is that everyone will treat you as if you are botched (damaged), not normal strangers at health care facilities to your on family. If you have a partner that will be the one who will make you feel the worst. Do your homework when before you have a cosmetic procedure. As soon as I had the energy to, I went to buy makeup and I’m learning how to use it with practice. Updated on 14 Feb 2024: I need a year and a half and four procedures before I can have my breast reconstructed with tissue flap nipples and tattooed areolas. I must work hard to stay positively focused. And make it through the process. Updated on 14 Feb 2024: My results for reconstruction evaluated by Miami Cancer Institute part of Baptist health states I need to remove basically all the tissue in both breast and put in expanders for six months. then my second surgery they will remove my tissue expanders and put in implants and revise my scars and deformities. Updated on 14 Feb 2024: After Having tissue expanders for six months my second procedure would involve more revision and placement of implants. Then, three months after I can have created nipples. Several months after the nipples are created. I can have Areolas tattooed and hopefully by next summer I should be done Updated on 28 Apr 2024: After finding out that the individual that made all the decisions on my breast/mental health/life/financial situation was not certified in any way by the Florida Department of Health, I filed a complaint only to find out that there’s a loophole. She’ s Considered a medical assistant, and therefore is not regulated by the Department of health. Meaning she can not be regulated. Perhaps there should be a lot that plastic surgeons If you will be in the hands of an unlicensed CERT and unregulated person.
Went in for surgery on the 10th and so far my results are amazing. Its still really early to see the results but I can already tell its exactly what I wanted. One of my eyelids were extremely droopy so it made me look tired and old. Even with the marking on my eyes I feel like I look 10 years younger. Very happy so far. Updated on 15 Feb 2017: this picture is only 2 days PO. Updated on 16 Feb 2017: So far loving the results. The picture with my eyes taped is what I brought into my doctor the day of surgery. As soon as he saw the picture he said " This scares me" LMAO... I think the picture helped to show him how I wanted my eyelids. :) Updated on 20 Feb 2017: I can finally wear eyeliner now. It's been so long. Im very very happy so far with my results. I look so much better..
I went in yesterday for a breast lift, implant reduction, and implant exchange ( gummy Bear) to baker plastic surgery. I had very saggy breast due to child birth. I wanted a full perky D and wanted to be able to wear some dresses or tops without a bra. So far my results look good. Pain is not bad. I also did my eyelids because one of my lids were very heavy and making me look older. My lids so far look amazing. I had my follow up appointment today and he said everything looks great. My next appointment will be tues. Updated on 14 Feb 2017: Hello everyone, Just wanted to post an update. Yesterday and today I have been very swollen. Especially my right breast. I did notice this morning the redness is not as bad. Every day it's gets better. I'm going in tomorrow to get my eyelid stitches removed so I will ask my doctor about the redness. I think I'm healing well. What do you think? My right breast is a bit bigger and more up but I think its because of the swelling. Updated on 15 Feb 2017: Still very swollen but I like the shape so far. I think I'm healing nicely. Updated on 16 Feb 2017: Day 7 Very swollen but everyday gets better. Updated on 20 Feb 2017: I'm not as swollen and I think my scar is going to be very light or unnoticeable. My breast look natural and REAL. FYI - my husband did not know I had implants and I did not tell him I was getting an implant exchange. He will never no. They look so real. Updated on 21 Feb 2017: Feeling pretty good. Updated on 1 Mar 2017: So far my results are amazing. I'm really happy with Dr. Baker. Very natural.. Updated on 8 Mar 2017: So far I'm very happy with my results. I wanted them to look natural and thats what Dr. Baker gave me. :) I have some lumps and bumps on the incisions but I'm not new to this so I know it will go away in about 3-6 months. Updated on 8 Mar 2017: $124 for a huge sheet:) Updated on 17 Dec 2017: Updated on 18 Apr 2018: So far I am healing well but I went into my PS 2 months ago complaining about an extra fold in my breast. He fixed the issue but he didn't remove the entire fold issue. Do you think this is such a big deal that I should get it fixed? I hate to ask my PS to fix this again. what are your thoughts real self. Updated on 15 Jan 2019: Dr. Baker is extremely skilled as you can see but wish I got a larger size and non gummy bear. I want to get a breast implant exchange but worried my scar will not be in the fold. Any thought?? Anyone got this done?
