I take pride in consulting each patient concerning their own personal needs. Every patient is recognized as uniquely different and my team and I give them a comfortable environment to discuss their needs, possible worries, and expectations.
From the very first phone call to walking in the front door, Dr. Horn and his team are and have been nothing short of amazing. They have been very compassionate, professional and accommodating to my every need as they have answered my every question. Maggie, the surgery coordinator and referral specialist, is wonderful. Dr. Horn is a great surgeon and is backed by an amazing team that works together to ensure patient satisfaction is exceeded. Thank you Dr. Horn and your wonderful staff for making a not so pleasant sickness the very best it could be!
Dr. Horn, Maggie and Heather are amazing. They were so supportive every step of the way. They were always available to answer questions both pre and post surgery. And I am thrilled with my results!
There's a lot to be said, about Dr Horn, "a man of impeccable character, AWESOME at its best. Your desire is what he does, not once, but twice, for me BEAUTIFUL AND FABULOUS. His staff Heather and Maggie Amazing, on point with communication, There's no exception to your beauty needs, when you have the choice of Dr. Thomas Horn.
He is a rare gem. He is kind and professional. Made sure that I did not worry about my surgery. He called me with my results of the imaging and the pathology report. I could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish. He and his staff make you feel like you're the only patient there. Heather, his nurse, is fantastic and has such positive energy. Maggie, the extraordinary face of the clinic, made all communication with the office easy. Got to see her in action in the Claxton office and she came out to speak with each patient. Made each patient feel important. Can't say enough good things about my experience from start to finish.
Excellent surgeon! Dr Horn has an amazing bedside manner and cares deeply for all his patients. He ensures that all questions are answered. We are blessed to have such a caring physician in our community.
I found the total experience with Dr Horn and his staff nothing short of first class in every aspect. The overall efficiency of the practice is the best I have ever come across. Every appointment was swift, on time and informative. The procedure itself and the aftercare/support was the epitome of patient care and consideration. I am not willing another surgery of this type on myself but would recommend Dr Horn and his team to anyone. Thanks for taking care of me. Marsupial Man
I’ve never dealt with such a professional and friendly staff! From the receptionist to the nurses and Dr. Horne, they always made me feel welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend them! You won’t be disappointed!!
Dr. Horn and his team gave me just the look I was going for. His nurse was very caring morning of surgery. Procedure was quick and recovery had some expected discomfort but nothing very painful. Everyone was comforting and reassuring through the emotional healing process. I have also been very pleased with how my scars have healed. Scars have been minimal since surgical tape was taken off. I’m about 4 months post surgery.
I highly recommend Dr. Horn! A few years back I went though Bariatric Surgery and lost 120 lbs, as expected I had alot of loose skin and my breasts needed alot of work, I didn't think twice with my choice in a plastic surgeon because I had so many people around me use him and were completely happy with their outcome, im a few months post op and I look and feel amazing!! His bedside manner was always comfortable and never made me feel like I was just a number, his nursing staff is top notch as well, you can't go wrong using Dr. Horn and his team!
Dr. Horn and his team should be able to get 10 stars!! A little back story on myself. I have had 3 umbilical hernia and 1 tummy tuck surgery over the last 4 years. They have all failed. My scars were ugly and uneven. I was unhappy and had no confidence. I was so lucky when I found Dr. Horn. He was the only the doctor that requested my previous records and sent me to get a CT scan to see what was going on. I knew something was wrong and no one would listen. He cared. He understood my pain. He really wanted to help me. I chose him and my surgery was scheduled for January 10th, 2023. During surgery they discovered a baseball size hernia and that my abs had separated again about 4.5 inches acrossed. He fixed that and while I was under I asked for a breast lift with implants and some liposuction. I'm almost 1 month post op and I have never been happier with my results! My scars are healing so beautifully and I finally feel confident again! If you are on the fence about choosing a plastic surgeon look no further because you have found him! Dr. Horn and staff I can't thank y'all enough for helping me feel beautiful again!
Thank you for the question and the photos! You are a great candidate for breast augmentation. You would also benefit from lateral breast implant pocket tightening. This would "correct" the wide set breast you described in your comments above. As always, be sure to see a board certified plastic surgeon to get the best results.
Thank you for the question and photo. I feel the best option for you is a breast augmentation with a lift. If you were to only place an implant, you would eventually bottom out. Your best option is to find a board certified plastic surgeon and schedule a consultation. Best of luck with your procedure!
As mentioned, there are several factors that determine candidacy for DIEP Flap Breast Reconstruction. Free flap surgeries are extremely detailed and can be lengthy so we like to have as much information as possible prior to making the decision to move forward. One factor is the amount of tissue to be transferred. A consultation with a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon would determine this. Second factor to determine is the blood supply to the area. If the tissue is good, we need to make sure your blood vessels are able to support the tissue transfer and keep it viable. I order a CTA to look at the blood vessels prior to making my final decision on whether or not a patient would be a good candidate for the procedure. Thank you for your question and good luck with your upcoming procedure.
What a great question! Rectus Diastasis Repair as a general rule should be part of a standard abdominoplasty procedure. Any Board Certified Plastic Surgeon should be doing muscle repair during this procedure. There are cases where the muscle repair is not needed. An example of that would be a mini-tummy tuck where only the skin is removed. With a standard tummy tuck, I go in and restore the abdominal muscles to their original position and secure them with permanent sutures. Once the muscles are in position, excess skin is removed, umbilicus is moved to it's new position, and the surgical area is then closed.
Thanks for the question. It is very achievable to have breast augmentation surgery and be athletic. The one thing I always take into consideration is sub-glandular versus sub-pectoral placement of the breast implant. My preference is to place the implant sub-pec but advise my patients not to train pectoral muscles. Over development of this muscle group and cause breast implants to displace and look unnatural. As always, it is best to consult a board certified plastic surgeon. Communication is key!
