Dr. Jackson did my breast augmentation last week and I couldn't be more happy. The day of surgery I was very nervous but the staff put me at ease. After my surgery the office sent me flowers and checked in on me.
Dr. Jackson is easy to talk to and does an amazing job. His staff is supportive and helpful. I had a tummy tuck and breast lift with no implants. I am very pleased with the treatment I received. .
I have always had a little frame but after kids it has been impossible to get it back. I've worked out here and there but never see results. I was leaning toward a tummy tuck but cost, down time, and scar I thought this was a better option of it works. I went in got 4 treatments for price of one. Doctor put a suction cup on my fat around my belly dis do would feel pulling sensation along with cold. It hurt! I'm a big baby though hate any kind of pain. After about 5-10minutes it sort of went numb and you only feel the pulling. I sat there for one hour freezing my fat catching up on magazines. She came in and moved to the other problem area( she sectioned my belly off into 4 treatment areas around my belly button). Sat there for another hour and was done. The freaky part was when they pull the cup off it has ur fat all in a cone shape and they have to massage it back down and that hurt. I went home didn't tell anyone I had procedure done. Still don't plan on it. My belly was numb and a strange feeling. Like I can feel it but not the surface of it. Went to bed and work next day. (Desk job) so it wasn't bad. Came home hung up blinds cook dinner etc and feel normal just belly still somewhat numb. I will post pics to show progress any questions just ask. Updated on 15 Jan 2016: So I still have just very little Numbness in the bottom area but I had top done 2 weeks before bottom. Top is done. I can feel again :) I was starting to get nervous. It was painful for almost 4 weeks for me. But I am a baby. Hard to wear jeans or anything tight on that area because it was numb and tingly. I am hoping for better results as time goes on. I can tell a difference the upper portion. Updated on 31 Jan 2016:
Being only 5ft 4in and weighing over 200 lbs with very big breast, the pain in back and neck was almost unbearable. Constant headaches and migraines were another issue which made me look into reduction. Was the best decision I made. I have been big breasted my whole life and after 3 children my size just kept going up and up after each birth. Finding clothes and bras to fit became an ordeal. When I decided to get the procedure done I was lucky enough the have insurance that was agreeable to necessity of surgery, 11 days after my first consult with PS I was approved.
Today I paid my surgery off and it feels so good to know in a month I will have nice full boobies again!! I'm going with a 350cc moderate silicone through the nipple. My doctor is giving me a pain pump, which will numb my chest completely for four days, and then pain meds for the rest. I'm so ready to get them, my original surgery was scheduled for march 7th but I had a bad feeling with the ps, so I went on another search and found an amazing doctor 20 min from my house. When I walked in he knew exactly what I wanted. I will be going from a 36 deflated C to a full D. AAAHHHH THE WAIT LOL Updated on 28 Mar 2013: I know I only have 20 but it feels like I've been waiting for 6 months lol. I'm so excited and also hoping this whole pain pump works like they say! I've seen a lot of girls after surgery in so much pain and unable to even lift their arms. I'm soo hoping because I'm receiving that I won't feel that!! Updated on 3 Apr 2013: Im getting so excited and so over waiting! I keep looking a pictures to print and show my doctor@! I will post pics of my before tonight :) Updated on 11 Apr 2013: Well I am down to six days and I am ready to get these things lol! My journey started out with one of my breast friends when we went on our search to find the right PS. Well our first ps appt was a disaster and then we found Dr. AMAZING lol. I had been to him before about removing a mole and he was amazing. My friend ended up going through some finacial troubles and wasn't able to get the new tata's with me. I originally had my surgery scheduled for March 7th and changed it to April 17th to have the same surgery date with my friend, so this is why I am so impatient lol. I am now only 6 days away and so excited that I am the first surgery of the day! I have heard a lot of surgery stories where the girls had to wait hours! I also will post my before pics, I am so sorry I haven't uploaded them yet! Updated on 13 Apr 2013: Well today I have cleaned my whole house, I need to go buy some stool softeners and a couple more things for my post-op! I can't wait! I love reading everyone's stories and seeing their results and I can't wait to share mine! I hope they turn out like I am imagining and like the photo I am taking in to my doctor. I have loaded my before pics and I don't see how everyone takes theirs so well lol Maybe I should have my hubby take them! Updated on 17 Apr 2013: Well its 4:15 am and I'm about to get my shower and head to my surgery!!! I have to be there at 6 and my surgery is at 7! Believe it or not I slept great and I'm still not nervous! I can't believe the day is here! We r having bad thunderstorms, I don't like that at all lol and so glad its at 7 cause I'm al ready starving!!!! Update spoon aaaahhhhh!!! Updated on 17 Apr 2013: YAY!!!! So I get there at 6 am and they took me right back. Once I got back they had me change, weighed me, and game me a pregnancy test. I was then guided to a chair with a curtain blocking everyone's view. The nurse put my IV in, well the needle went straight through my vein. My doctor came in and drew on my chest and took out my contacts and they walked me to the operating room. I got on the table and mentioned that I still wasn't nervous and they couldn't believe it, neither could I. Well they doped me out and then I remember waking up and a nurse trying to give me crackers and sprite. It took me forever to wake up, it was almost like narcolepsy lol Well when I woke up it hurt so bad and I kept telling them I though I was supposed to be numb from the pain pump, well I guess it could take up to 24 hours to numb them. It took about 4 hours to numb them and I love it and my new girls! I tried to take a pic, I ended up with 350cc mentor silicone implants unders through the nipple! Updated on 17 Apr 2013: Yay the pain pump finally kicked in and they are numb, I need to calm down because I am bleeding from the pain pump holes. But here is anotherpic Updated on 17 Apr 2013: I'm feeling amazing no pain, just a little tired I've been in and out all day. I have attached a photo of the surgical bra they have me wearing with the compression strap to help move they.in place. Updated on 19 Apr 2013: I decided to sleep in my chaise last night, instead of the recliner. Although I slept amazing when I went to get up at 4 two things popped on each side of my collar bone. I am thinking it was normal because I was laying in the same position for so long, but I am paranoid that it was my upper muscles lol. I just don't want to mess anything up and I want them to heal correctly. I am still not feeling any pain thanks to my pain pump!! I do feel a little soreness when I wake up and I change my ice packs and take a med and I am fine. I think it's because I a, sleeping and not moving around and they are stiffening up. I am still so happy with my boobs and I am really happy I listened to my doctor and stuck with the 350cc implants. I think everyone stresses on size prior to surgery. Updated on 19 Apr 2013: Also did anyone else have a compression strap? Did it shape your boobs or help them drop? or both lol Updated on 19 Apr 2013: So I have removed my bra today and I noticed that my right side is dropping before me left and I know that is completely normal. I am still using the compression strap and I switched to a tighter more supportive surgical bra and I noticed that they are definitely dropping and getting softer and I hope I achieve the look I am looking for and I know to be patient. I have heard that the wait to get them is a pain, and then I heard that the post op look is a pain lol I have attached pics of my pain pump and some of my boobs where you can see the one dropping faster than the other. I am supposed to pull out the pain pump tomorrow and shower if it is empty :) Updated on 20 Apr 2013: I woke up again at 4:00am and I didn't feel any pain or soreness!! I did sleep elevated on my chaise with pillows under and I slept great! They are starting to feel soft and I just want to see them and dress them up lol I looked at my pain pump and it looks like it still has another full day left, which doesn't bother me, but I would like to shower lol I have washed my hair and my body, but I haven't had an actual shower yet! I hope my day continues to be pain free,,, kudos to my doctor for allowing me to be pain free throughout this entire journey... I love him lmao... (u can tell I took my meds ) Updated on 21 Apr 2013: Well today is morning 5 and I didn't wake up sore at all and my pain pump was empty! I had to pull it out, the left side came out no problem and the right side was kind of tough but I gently got it out. There was about a foot of catheter wire in both sides! Crazy huh! I'm not sure if I will feel a lot of pain today since I am now off my pain pump, but I am so glad I don't have to carry that bag and I get to take A SHOWER!! So exciting. I have attached 2 new photos from this morning. I can't believe the changes already, I LOVE THEM!!! Updated on 24 Apr 2013: Well its day 7 and I just seen my doctor. He removed my tape and my stiches and showed me the massages to do daily. The scars on my nipple don't look bad and I put the special cream on them :) he gave me special strips to use too. I'll post pics of my scars later I'm so tired right now. I've just been.so exhausted this week.going back to work! Updated on 24 Apr 2013: Well its day 7 and I just seen my doctor. I made the mistake of getting my new girls before losing all my baby weight! Now my boobs are smaller! They still look great though, so I can't complain!!! I love them!!!
Horrible. I went to Dr Jackson for a revision to replace my 13yr old saline smooth round extra high profile 350cc under the muscle implants. I had slight volume loss as well as rippling, which was expected and I knew they would eventually need replaced. I also wanted to go up in size. I picked Dr. Jackson since he was local and 1000$ cheaper than the other ps I inquired about. He made it seem like it would be an easy fix and I trusted his judgement At my consultation, we decided on 495cc smooth round extra high profile silicone under the muscle. After surgery, I was informed I received 500cc smooth round moderate plus under the muscle because the extra high was too narrow for my body. I was happy that I received 500cc, I was a little concerned about the profile change but trusted his judgement regardless. The day after surgery I knew something wasn't right. My left developed a flat spot and a huge bruise. I blamed myself for leaving an ice pack on too long. I know now that wasn't the case. My right one also looked like something wasn't right. I addressed my concern at my post op and was told everything was fine. I believed him. Things only got worse. I went back to him once again to address the flat spot on my left. It turns out the implant was put in back wards. In his words, the implant must have flipped during surgery. He tried to manually flip the implant back without success. He then said, "maybe it'll flip back on it's own because you don't want another surgery, they're expensive" Since then, things have gotten dramatically worse. I can physically move my right around my sternum by rolling my belly button and lifting the implant. My left one is incredibly flat. I was informed by my family Dr that I had a t.u.b.a., which I did not or at least I wasn't supposed to have. My first surgery was transaxillary and since my revision my old incisions (under arms) have started to swell. I have never had issues with them until now. I've been back to Dr Jackson 3 times with concerns and each time he has said nothing is wrong and commented that I don't want/need to have another surgery. I don't believe it's his place to tell me what I need or want. My health has been going down hill drastically. I'm unable to work right now which has caused me to lose my job. I've been hardcore into working out for the past 17yrs and was a competitive bodybuilder although they were just a few local competitions. For the past few months I haven't been able to work out much which is devastating to me. It was my life and I was very proud of all the hard work I had accomplished. I've been extremely depressed. I've been to the er several times just in the past month and no one can tell me what's wrong. I recently saw Dr Jackson once again and it was the same thing, nothing is wrong. I told him I was going to get a 2nd opinion because something wasn't right. He got upset and replied "you do that then" and left the room. I have been informed that I'm not the only one who has had problems from going to him. I do not recommend him at all. I'm now in the process of searching for another ps to hopefully get this taken care of once and for all.
I went with recommendations from the nurses in the local hospital and from other patients. Very happy to find someone close to my home that was highly recommended. The surgery center that the work will be preformed is also close to home.Updated on 10 Mar 2017: One day post op. A little sore but nothing too bad. I'm staying on top of my pain meds. Drinking lots of water and resting. I have 2 drain tubes and it is not to bad. So far so good. I can't wait to see the results right now they are hidden under gauze and the binder.Updated on 10 Mar 2017: I had a tummy tuck and breast lift with no implants. Dr. Jackson is very professional and he made me comfortable. He is easy to talk to and his staff is nice. So happy I had him perform the surgery.
Hello there. I can't wait to schedule my tummy tuck consult!! I've got 14 more lbs to go before I will schedule it. I've lost at least 70 lbs without surgery over the last 2 years with the majority of the loss in the last year. I got up to 320 with my last pregnancy and I'm at 214.1 lbs as of this morning!! I've got a lot of excess skin and fat around my belly, especially my lower abdomen. I can't wait to get it removed so I can wear the clothes I deserve to wear after all my hard work. Plus I would like to try running/jogging but it's uncomfortable right now with the excess flab bouncing around!! I've lost inches all over including my belly but it's not getting much smaller :( I'm so looking forward to being able to see the Dr and discuss the procedure. I may also look into a breast lift but not sure I can afford both procedures right now. I'll update as I go and I plan on posting pics in the future!! Updated on 17 Apr 2016: No sucking anything in like I normally do LOL. If I do, I am quite a bit flatter. The more weight I lose, the worse it looks! Have never been self conscious before, even when I was heavier, but now I hate looking at my stomach! I have some flab on my upper arms and inner thighs but that doesn't bother me NEARLY like my belly does! Can't wait til it is gone!! Updated on 24 May 2016: I can't wait til my consult on June 7th!! I'm sure the PS is going to suggest I lose some more weight but I want a plan in place and hopefully a time frame where I can hopefully schedule the actual procedure. I'm hoping I like the PS because he's only about 20 min from my house. If we don't "click" then I will definitely schedule another consult at a different office. I'm currently 207.2 today so I'm getting closer to my goal weight which is very exciting!! I'll update after my appt! Updated on 8 Jun 2016: Had my consult appointment today. I was very happy with the experience. Dr Jackson was very nice and answered almost all of my questions before I had to ask them. All of the staff I met today was very courteous and made me feel comfortable. I am looking forward to getting my surgery scheduled as soon as possible. Updated on 23 Jun 2016: I scheduled my TT today!! I can't wait! November can't get here fast enough. I'm definitely going to start researching things I will need before and after my procedure and start making my "Need for Surgery" list! Looking forward to reading about everyone else's journey! I was at 320 lbs at my heaviest, but that as when I was pregnant with my daughter. I was approx 280-290 about 2 months after I had her. I was 205.5 this morning :) It's taken me 3 years to lose the weight but I'm finally about 20lbs from my goal weight. The more I lose, the worse my stomach looks! Hate all the hanging, flabby skin :( Can't wait for it to be gone.
