Open roof deformity? I‘ve had a closed rhinoplasty 4 months ago. (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

From your pictures it is difficult to determine the extent of your nasal deformity.  If it cannot be visualized, but it is felt with your finger, it can be corrected with dermal fillers.  If it is visualized when looking in the mirror or from a head on or profile picture, then revision rhinoplasty may be indicated.  It is important to follow up with your Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon for follow up.

Is there something that can be done about my right eye? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

From your pictures it appears that you may have ptosis of your right eye lid, creating a smaller appearing eye.  This can be corrected with a Blepharoplasty/ Ptosis repair.  This is a relatively straight forward procedure, which you should have done by a Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon.

No noticeable difference after bleph surgery (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

It is difficult to determine your progress or outcome from the pictures submitted.  However postoperative swelling does occur and can last for several weeks to months.  Usually at 7 days once sutures have been removed the results are visualized.  Upper and Lower lid swelling will be present but the result should noticeable.  I would give it some time and follow up with your provider.

Could I have a second chin liposuction? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Liposuction is the process of removing unwanted fat from specific areas of the body. The most common treatment areas include the upper outer thigh area known as "saddlebags", the abdomen, the flanks or "love handles." Other treatment areas include facial and neck fat, "double chins", hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, arms and ankles.

Liposuction is performed by using a hand-held instrument (called a cannula) to vacuum the fat layer that lies deep beneath the skin. By pushing and pulling the cannula, the fat cells are broken up and then sucked out with a vacuum or syringe and deposited into bags, bottles or other containers. While fat is removed by suctioning fat through small tunnels, the skin remains connected to the underlying muscles. This helps preserve the nerves and blood vessels supplying the skin and also helps to decrease the laxity of the skin. The surgeon is also careful to leave a thin blanket of fat attached to the skin to prevent the cannula from getting too close to the skin and thus avoiding excessive rippling or other irregularities. The tumescent solution injected under the skin helps to decrease bleeding, provide anesthesia to the surgical site and improve postoperative patient comfort.

Most patients are back to work in 1 week. A support garment is worn for 3 weeks and no heavy exercise is performed for 3 weeks. Mild bruising and swelling are expected along with potential changes in sensitivity contour and texture of the skin. Although complications following liposuction are unusual, it is important that every patient be well informed about the procedure, the options available and potential problems.

To make sure you are a candidate for this type of procedure I would highly recommend for you to visit a local plastic surgeon for a consultation. I would also try to find out what kind of liposuction was preformed during your first chin surgery. This would help determine if you are able to do a second liposuction procedure or not.

Rhinoplasty costs/payment plans? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
I realize that the facial area is the most prominent and recognized feature one displays. The shape of your face can sometimes be defined by the profile of your nose and the symmetry of the rest of your facial area. Rhinoplasty, or nose reshaping, can dramatically improve your appearance and can boost self-confidence. I can provide you with a ballpark figure from my office which will include all your pre and post op appointments, OR charges and surgical supplies. Medication and medical clearance is not included. Our regular fee is around $5,100.00, if you choose to pay withcash we can provide a cash discount of $600, which will then bring your cost to around $4,500.00. If you are interested in payment plans there are plenty of finance companies that can help you. A lot of our patients will even use private credit cards that have 0% interest for several months. If you have any more questions I am always here to help, we also offer complimentary consultations on every Tuesday and Thursday, since your out of state we can do a phone consultation, or email my office at anytime with additional questions. Hope you have a wonderful day!

What is the best age for male rhinoplasty?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
The facial area is the most prominent and recognized feature one displays. The shape of your face can sometimes be defined by the profile of your nose and the symmetry of the rest of your facial area. Rhinoplasty, or nose reshaping, can dramatically improve your appearance and can boost self-confidence. When you meet with your plastic surgeon he will be able to discuss the procedure and evaluate your nose and maturity. Its very important that you are out of the puberty stage. This is very different among males, usually about age 17 with your parents consent. You want to make sure you are getting the full benefit of having your surgery.

52yo male: are the incisions the same as a mini lift? Will the scarring be minimal around and behind the ears?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
The Quicklift is rapidly becoming the state of the art procedure for treatment of sagging skin in the lower face and neck region. The procedure is performed in a few short hours and can be combined with procedures to rejuvenate the forehead, eyes, lips, and skin texture. Results, time of surgery and recovery period may vary. Since every patient is different and depending on what trained surgeon you go to he or she should be able to modify the incision just for you and your facial structure. I have done over 2000+ QuickLift procedures and I'm proud to say that the scarring has been very minimal with my patients. If you are someone that tends to scar easily you should let your surgeon know upfront so he or she can take the appropriate measures when preparing for your surgery. Ex: technique, suture material, pre and post skin care, etc.

I am so impressed by the results and experience!

This man is not only a great surgeon, he has a lovely bedside manor and is as nice as he is handsome! He and his staff know how to make you feel comfortable in all stages of the process! I had breast augmentation 2 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier! He did a beautiful job! I wanted the results I saw in the post-op pictures posted on his website and thats exactly what I got! He is a top notch doctor and has a beautiful office and an impressive and very sterile, in-house surgical center. I have had a great experience and plan to see him soon for a couple of other improvements....

Dr. Kotoske is a great doctor with wonderful staff

I had a breast augmentation done by Dr Kototske in 2014 (also a great surgery!). His office and his staff were fantastic. At the time I said that I wanted to get a chin implant because I hated my side profile so much. They quoted me for a price of 2800 (I kept the quote in my files). However, at the time I couldn't take anymore time off of work (I live 3.5 hours away so it's a whole day off of work to make it to an appt), and decided maybe in the future. The time came that I was getting older and super unhappy with my side profile. I'm not far by any means, I'm 5'2 and about 135. I do weight lifting and I'm in the military so I keep it fairly trim. And although I have more BF than I was normally keeping in my 20s, I feel good with my body. However, even being 8% BF for a body building show in 2017, I looked like a had a double chin. Dr. Kotoske walked me through getting a medium chin implant and doing lipo underneath my chin. I was all in. I had the procedure last Friday and even though I'm swollen and black and blue still, I can tell I'm going to love it. He's a great doctor with a wonderful staff. The anesthesiologist and the circulator in the OR were also fantastic. I'll say it was a .5 for pain, but a level 7 for annoying. Wearing this head wrap and being swollen and sleeping sitting up is just annoying. But it was basically pain free and a great experience. Again and again if choose his office. Even if it was almost double the price in 6 years. Worth it! Updated on 27 Mar 2020: So the below pictures are some from before and after (so far) pictures. I didn't realize that I had only posted one picture on my first post so here are the rest... I just had my stitches out today. The cut now looking at it looks a bit wobbly, but we'll see how it fares as time goes on.

Done through the eyes of an artist behind the hands of a surgeon

I was an A cup before having my kids. My milk glands were off the chart taking me to a D cup for 5 years. (2 babies 23 mo apart) I didn’t rotate thinking it’s just Dr Mumbo-jumbo what a mistake. Deformed my chest once I dried up. Dr. Kotoske even had to ask if I’ve always been this way and fixed me to where I had self esteem again filling back to the size I was while nursing.I am 5’3 and 113 lbs petite build. I do wish I had known it wasn’t a once in a lifetime ordeal for they don’t last forever. 7 years after initial surgery the left got a leak at fill valve and now another 7 years the same issue with the left. Thank God for warranty’s to help with costs. We just did BOTH since the right side was 14 yrs old. Sub-pectoral REAUGMENTATION. Will add pics as we go further out post surgery. Updated on 21 Jan 2020: Currently no pain after re-augmentation surgery. Think swelling is gone. See Dr on Thursday . Definitely was worth it. I know my self esteem was definitely better after getting them 14 years ago. Just wish they would stop leaking and needing to be redone. Hopefully this lasts longer than 7 years. Natrelle implants. Updated on 1 Mar 2020: Pretty pleased with the reaugmentation. Went up a cup after all. Was premeditated just went in for a ruptured implant replacement but he said since we’re replacing both we’ll fill a lil more. Now at 34 DD to DDD depends on brand.

I had a awesome experience!

I love him !!! My boobs are perfect compared to so many augmentations I've seen and their scars. He also gave me confidence in my body. ( Learned breastfeeding rotation is a must the hard way ) He made sure to proportion my boobs with my body so it wasn't obvious that they were enhanced.

I think I may end up being a small D once fully recovered. Can't wait to hit the stage in 2018!! Waiting to get the go for full workout mode. Pics to come

I Wear Crop Tops Now! Phoenix, AZ

I found this site just before my Full TT w/MR and liposuction on hips and flanks in July 2015. It has seriously helped me through it all. I've had 3 c-sections and thought I'd have no issues with recovery but woah, yeah right. Although similar, my TT was much harder. Drains, compression garmets, binders, socks, gauze.. the pain. I'm no wuss either. I'm 4'9 and 145 pre op. Not skinny. But my fattest looking most horrible insecurity was my belly. For 12 years I had wanted to get a TT and finally I had saved enough to get it done. It was gratifying and an emotional rollercoaster! My surgery lasted 3.5 hours and over 10lbs of tissue was removed from my tummy. Everything went well and my overnight nurse was so accommodating. My doctor is a miracle worker, Dr Thomas Kotoske. He's in the Phoenix area. Anyhoo, once I left the recovery center and got home pain kicked in. Once reality set in I was like WTF did I do to myself?! The bruising was insane. The TT pain was bad but the Liposuction hurt the most! Imagine wearing a spanks 3 sizes too small filled with rocks. Every touch was agonizing. My drains came out at 8 days. They took a while since I lost so much tissue my body was going through healing overload. I will admit I was a biotch the first 2 wks. I have a great husband and 3 awesome kids, 15, 13 and 6 who were super helpful but i sometimes was like get away from me with that soup and happiness... just go and leave me to diiiiie! Yea. I'm a hairstylist and I have my own studio salon so I was back to work in 3 wks because I overestimated my awesomeness. I thought I'd be fine, I booked appointments light. Ugh, I could have used 2 more weeks of rest and I secretly cussed myself out in my head during each appointment but maintaining a reassuring smile for my clients. I didn't feel like myself till around 8 wks. My healing has been great, like no problems other than swelling and one rebel stitch. Mostly my issue was my energy depleated quickly during the first 2 months. I watched the entire Secret Life Of an American Teenager series during that time. I was bored... so bored but by 1pm or so I felt spent and getting in and out of the car still hurt. After that energy hurdle lol I started shrinking and moving and bending easier. I'm at currently 6 mos P/O and I love my body. But, I still swell like crazy if I strain my self at all. It's most present at night. I've lost some weight and I have lots of goals still but I realize how much this procedure freed me from my self image woes. I don't hide my body from my husband anymore. I have a big butt and thighs even cellulite but I'll rock an bikinI now. This mama wears crop tops. My oldest thinks I'm cool now, and her friends say I'm pretty. My husband say I look hot. If you ask me whether I'd go through with this procedure again, I'd say YES 100 TIMES. So I complained and it hurt but it was worth it. No money can replace the feeling of being happy with myself. I no longer cry in the mirror. Or decline invitations because of being ashamed of my body. Or deny my husband or myself of the passion and intimacy we deserve. Im living my life to the fullest. If you can get a TT- DO IT. Just be realistic, expect the pain, prepare, research and don't rush the process. Healing is important and our bodies require TLC during the recovery. So be kind to yourself and in no time you're gonna love your new body! Best of luck!

21 Years Old Finally New Nose - Phoenix, AZ

I looked a lot at different doctors in arizona and one of my consultations was dr. Kotoske. After reviewing his work on rhinoplasty I felt he was the doctor with the most dramatic changes, but I still had to go to a consultation to confirm he was going to be the one. My waiting time was longer than I expected but I figured it was a free consultation and him being busy must be a good thing. Consultation was fast but we went over what i didn't like and what we could change. Day of procedure everyone was extremely nice I didn't even feel the needle when I got anesthesia. Overall I'm so happy I went to him he went above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend him!
