Great experience considering why I was seeing him. Four reconstruction surgeries after breast cancer mastectomy and chemo treatments. Was personable and listened to what I wanted to achieve. Very Happy.
I had a bilateral Masectomy, Dr. McCury started my tissue expanders. I hate them, They hurt and feel like two bricks on my chest , but this is not the end of my journey, just the beginning. But his staff and his work is awesome, He is the best courteous, kind, plastic surgeon. He stated he was going to take care of me and he did. Not done just yet. Will give you update on final implants. Thank you...
I have lost 180 lbs. I met with a few doctors in my area. I felt like Dr. McCurry was very nice and answered all my questions. I am more than pleased with my results. His staff was fantastic as well.
I was in critical medical condition due to failed implant. Some of my friends helped find Dr McCurry and made an appointment with him. He took my case without and hesitation even after a different surgeon refused to help me. He saved my life and did an amazing job. He made me look awesome and much younger than before! I appreciate everything he and his team has done for me. Everyone was very professional and very caring. I would never consider visiting another plastic surgeon. I highly recommend Dr McCurry to anyone in need. I would say he is one of the best plastic surgeons in the US.
I had over the muscle 350 cc saline implants 13years ago (age 30) they had started to look less than perky! I decided it was time to replace them. After speaking to my doctor he suggested going under the muscle 600cc silicone with a full lift. It has been 10 days today and there are no words to describe how amazing they look! According to my doctor I will not see the full effect for 6 weeks. I was really worried about the scaring from the mestopexy but they look so great I don't even notice. It was uncomfortable but completely worth it, my self esteem is through the roof. Every time I look over at my husband he just has this great big smile on his face.
I had gastric bypass surgery in July 2013 lost 200 pounds had alot of excess hanging skin seen Dr.McCurry at Norton weight loss center in Louisville ky where I had my surgery done he seemed like a EXCELLENT choice for my surgery so I called and scheduled a consultation with him I liked him and we set the date for December 23 2015 he had not ordered any lab work until 1 hour before surgery I had a pannicullary and a butt lift done I stayed over night went home next day needless to say I started developing complications I didn't know it but I had contacted M.r.s.a. during my surgery after 1 month of going to ER I finally got diagnosed from a young woman who just got out of Medical School I fought this horrible thing for over 1 and a half years when I was in the hospital I not one time seen a wound care doctor and Dr.McCurry quit coming to the hospital after 3 times I seen hospital list doctors in my opinion he is a EVIL man who only cares about the money please don't have him do anything to you I promise you will be sorry
I went to Dr. McCurry for a breast reduction because he was in network and worked with the hospital where I am employed. He spent about 15 minutes in my consultation and I didn’t see or hear from him again. Furthermore, his staff was rude when I tried to work with them to get insurance approval. His insurance manager, Margaret Johnson stated “I’ve never seen these get approved through insurance but if you want to waste your time go ahead.” I have never received such poor care from a physician and his staff. And that’s disappointing, considering I work for the same group. Do yourself a favor and go to someone else.
1. Expanders placed at time of bilateral mastectomies 9/2017. Second day returned to surgery with large hematoma complication. 2. Implants placed 12/2017, developed staph infection, lost right implant - another complication. 3. Waited 4 months for recommended surgery - diep/tram flap. Surgery successful. Within 2 hours told nurse new breast was cold and said I knew I was supposed to be being checked every 1-2 hours. she said “Oh no and I don't have any orders". Next day told Dr Mc Curry I was "sorry" I was turning into a problem patient. He replied: “I am the one who should be saying I’m sorry". 24 hours later returned to surgery and lost new living breast. Went home on a wound vacuum for 30 days. Needless to say - complication with every surgery by Dr Mc Curry. No orders written for postop care!! u-n-b-e-l-i-e-v-a-b-l-e. This should not have happened!!! Please beware - I am a victim of the highly esteemed university surgical associates!!
