Steven Bloch, MD

Dr. Bloch is the best! He is highly experienced and knows what he is doing. I have learned the hard way... you get what you pay for. If you know you deserve the best then go to Dr. Bloch. He fixed my botched lower face lift by another much less experienced doctor and now I look the way I was supposed to. My regret is that I didn't go to Dr. Bloch to begin with. Live and learn. Now you can learn from my mistake. Don't go anywhere else! He's the BEST!

Initally I went to Dr. Bloch in Highland Park, IL (highly skilled) for a consult which was about $15,000. I went for another consult with Dr. Campbell who was $10,000. I choose Dr. Campbell because he didn't require sedation and it was $5,000 less expensive. After my lower face lift I had a couple lumps and sagging skin under my chin. Dr. Campbell gave me a couple steroid shots at 2 different follow-ups, but they did nothing. When I went back for my 6 month check up Dr. Campbell said he never seen it before and didn't know what it was. Needless to say I didn't feel safe having him repair his botched surgery. I went back to Dr. Bloch in Highland Park, IL and was told it was simply fat and loose skin and I needed lipo to remove the fat and lazer treatment to tighten the skin. I chose to have him do it and I looked 100% better in 2 weeks! Needless to say Dr. Bloch was not happy about the fact that I went somewhere else and he had to fix the other doctors mistake, but he did it and now I look the way I was supposed to initially. Lesson: You get what you pay for! i.e. Spend the money and go to the best! You're worth it!

I am a 57 yo mom of two, who are in their 20’s. I have always wanted to have this surgery because my midsection suffered horribly from two pregnancies. I finally had the time and resources to do it. My doctor and his staff were wonderful. However, I just arrived home a couple of hours ago and even with the pain pump am in a great deal of pain. I took double the Norkol which took a bit of the edge off and now 3 hours later feel like I
Need to take more. I am laying in bed and trying to figure out the best position? Anyone with ideas? Help. Will post pics tomorrow. Thx

Within the last five years, I have had several surgeries with Doctor Bloch. Each time he has gone above and beyond and has exceeded my expectations. He is very professional, honest, funny, and skillful and talented. His staff is wonderful too. Dr. Bloch is the best of the best. You can't go wrong and I highly recommend him!

I am completely satisfied with all procedures preformed. Dr. Bloch was always willing to discuss any new products and procedures without any pressure to receive them. I have enjoyed all my experiences with his staff as well.I am happy to recommend him to anyone I know who needs his services. He is a wonderful doctor.

I was a 32a after losing weight. I am happy with the size (350 cc high profile) but sometimes I feel it makes me look heavier in clothes, I wound up a 32dd (Victoria's Secret) they look natural and not many people can tell they are fake with my clothes on. I also wish I could have had a lift somehow because I still don't have much cleavage even in a v neck with a push up. It was worth it, but nothing bears having real boobs! If you have even a natural C cup, keep them! Don't do fake boobs unless you really have nothing and want something to fill out your shirt!
My doctor was amazing and my implants are soft and they really do look natural. Minimal scars, great follow up.
I had a moderately painful recovery (bad 3 days with steady improvement after that) with some nerve pain on the left side for days that still comes back 6 moths later. It makes it hard to breathe sometimes but it's gone for the most part.

I've been going to Dr. Bloch's office for many years. I have gone to Skin Deep Medical Spa for many years and have also seen Dr. Bloch as I have been aging. The Cosmetic treatments have been well worth the effort. My friends tell me I look the same as I did ten years ago and I owe this to Dr. Bloch and his staff.

I had a child and my skin was saggy with stretch marks. I wasn't confident in my body and after diet and exercise didn't work, this was my next option. I had a wonderful experience and wasn't worried going into the surgery. The results are more than I could of imagined and I'm so glad I did this. I feel great in clothes and in a bathing suit

I went to the office in August to see if I was a good candidate and I was. We decided to do the tummy tuck, lipo and my flanks. 2 weeks before my surgery I met with Jayme we went over the procedure and what I could expect, she answered my questions and took my before pictures.

The day of the surgery I arrived 1 hour prior. Had my ivy put in, Dr. Bloch came to talk to me and draw where he would do the surgery. I met the all the staff that would be working with Dr Bloch.

The surgery took 3 hours to complete. After the surgery was completed I recovered in the recovery room. You are able to oh home after the surgery but I decided to stay the night in the Grove hospital just in case I needed anything.

I was in a lot of pain, but it wasn't as painful as my c-section.

It's now been 2 months after my surgery and I'm moving around great, I've had to buy new clothes to fit the smaller me. It was a wonderful experience

by him & I have the highest regard for him & his staff. Dr Bloch has magic fingers & his work is a work of art.

I'm very conservative, so I wanted to start with nonsurgical options. I have had outstanding results with the milder procedures, such as Gentlewaves, and I love this spa. The atmosphere is everything you'd hope for, and everything that is supposed to go into a true spa experience. Thermage worked exceptionally well for me. This could be because I take very good care of my skin and general health, because I stopped sunbathing at 17, or because it isn't the first treatment I've had. Only a doctor can tell you what you can expect. But I do want to say that I'm surprised when people say it was very painful, or that they had no result. You will be asked for feedback on every pulse, which allows the doctor or aesthetician to calibrate the treatment. This is why topical anesthetic is not wise, and they don't use it here. At Skin Deep, you will be given guidance on pre- and post-procedure, and a complementary followup with a Gentlewaves treatment. All in all, I was thrilled with it.
