Dr. Hess is a wonderful dermatologist. He takes the time to be thorough and explains everything. I went to his practice in the city for my first visit but he has recently opened an office in Chester County which is more convenient to me, therefore I will be going there instead. The office staff is very nice and very professional. I highly recommend Dr. Hess (and do to all my friends and family).
I lost about 15 lbs. in the last 3 years. First, my son was deployed.. he’s in the Army, infantry unit no less, then I bought a house, and then both my parents fell ill. In other words, I had been through a lot, and you could tell!! The compliments on my appearance, and looking young for my age stopped, completely! I’ll be 45 in October, and I looked good my entire life. Now, all of a sudden I looked like a frail of woman, and I was sad. I love and take care of my family every day, but it’s distressing to look at pictures from just 3 years ago, and see a different person than I see in the mirror. However, when I would get ordinary fillers, I’d be happy for about 3 weeks, no matter of much product I used! I decided it was time to try Sculptra. First, I had a session done on my cheeks.. loved it, it lasted, and my cheeks looked great. But, the doctor who performed the Sculptra, only did cheeks. Yesterday, I went to another doctor that I had previous positive experience with. I had my jaw line, temples, and lower face done using two more vials. I’m only one day out, and I know I’m still swollen, but I have to say that it was real nice to see MYSELF again in the mirror this morning! Updated on 12 Sep 2018: Sculptra! Updated on 13 Sep 2018: Now it’s 2 days after my appointment. I feel like buying clothes again. I don’t know if everyone understands, it’s not just vanity. I put my family first. I just really missed the girl I used to see, and at 45, I’m not yet ready to give her up. I really feel like I aged 10 years, in two. I know Sculptra is a process, but if what I see now, is what I can expect to see from Sculptra, I am beyond thrilled. Thank you Dr. Hess Updated on 14 Sep 2018: Updated on 15 Sep 2018: Almost 5 days later, and my husband just said to me that he doesn’t notice anything different about my appearance, but he’s loving the change in my confidence. The results are subtle, but dramatic to me! Life changing for me! I usually don’t tell my husband about cosmetic procedures, Botox etc.. He found out by accident. And as my husband, I think he is very bias. He would never have told me that I looked haggard, but I knew I did. Also, I forgot to mention that I had infini rf done 2 years ago which I do feel probably caused some of the fat atrophy and sagging in my face. I just felt down about myself for a while now, and adding volume in the exact places that Dr. Hess added the volume in was the trick I needed to bring me back to where I was before:) Updated on 20 Sep 2018: It’s now 10 days post Sculptra treatment on my jawline, temples, and cheeks. The initial swelling was awesome, as it lasted about 5 days. Now I’m at the stage where noticing little positive changes every morning when I wake up and look in the mirror. I’ve been feeling very down about myself lately. I don’t need to look 30, but I do want to look like I take care of myself. Sculptra is helping me:) Updated on 22 Oct 2018: I’m six weeks out from my second Sculptra treatment. 2 vials each time. I feel like this is the me that I had hoped for at 45! Updated on 22 Oct 2018: Im so sick of spending a ton of money on fillers that look great for a few weeks.. period, a few weeks! Sculptra STARTS looking its best after a few weeks, and it gets progressively better! Updated on 6 Nov 2018: The first time I had 2 vials done to my cheeks.. that was March 2018. I have continued improvement in my cheeks. My second treatment was 2 vials inmy jawline, temples, and lower face... that was the treatment this gave me the real “wow,” factor! I was soooo happy. My face was starting to be rebuilt. I jut had my third treatment today, which was one vial. I wanted a little more done on my jawline and temples. I bruised a bit today, but I’m not to concerned with that, as I know it will soon be gone, and Sculptra is such an amazing product for overall restoration, that it’s well worth a couple bruises for a week or two. I CANNOT BELIEVE MY TURKEY NECK IS GONE AND I HAVE JAWLINE!!! Updated on 8 Nov 2018: It’s a day and a half after my 3rd Sculptra session. 2 Val’s the first time, 2 the second time.. and this last time, I only had vial. I have to admit, even though ima big Sculptra fan, when I got home from m Sculptra appointment on Tuesday.. my face looked terrible. Some minor black and blues, but the swelling made my face look distorted. My temple looked overdone, as did my chin... I’m so happy some of the swelling went down, and I’m staring to look better ;) Updated on 8 Nov 2018: Bruises, I can’t wait for you to heal Updated on 15 Nov 2018: My bruises are staying to heal, and I really have to say that after spending soooo much money on fillers that went away fast, and did basically nothing, I am so very happy With Sculptra. It’s rebuilding my face in a real way. I’m so excited and so happy. Updated on 23 Apr 2019: Updated on 24 Apr 2019: In a period of about 2 years I lost about 15 lbs. I didn’t want to lose the weight, but I have an extremely active lifestyle, and had also gone through a few stressful times in the last few years. Being 45, my face didn’t bounce back from the weight loss like it had in the past. I looked like my face was deflating. Sculptra gave me my face back. I’m still quite thin, but my face does not look as gaunt. I am extremely happy with the results
