Stephanie Meryl Cohen

I had a really great experience with Dr. Stephanie Cohen, I was referred by a few girlfriends and am more than pleased with the outcome coming from a size A to now a size C (400cc). She can now add me to the list of satisfied patients, I love her!
Best part of all was the post-op followup -- they checked on me often to make sure I was doing well which was very reassuring.
So here I am two month later rocking my post-op bra which was also recommended by all my girlfriends, called the RxBra. It is actually really sexy, allows me to show off my cleavage weeks after the surgery, and most of all it's extremely comfortable. I'd recommend the RxBra to any woman getting breast augmentations.
I'd recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone looking for realistic, but amazing results for breast augmentations!

Had one consultation and didn't need a second opinion. Scheduled my reduction/lift. My boobs started growing after menopause....ugly....if I bend down my nipples tickle my toes. Hope to go from huge and pendulous to teenage and perky! 17 days to go..... Oh and I have severe, continual back pain and have been on narcotics for 7 years. I'm hoping reduced pain and fewer meds will be a pleasant side effect! To be continued!!

Getting revved up! 6 days to go!! Squished myself into a 38 D but should be DD and they keep growing! Ugh!! So sick of these pendulums, sweat, sores, uni-boobs across the top of my chest when I squish into bra. Pop-ups, and not in a good way! Hoping for a full C cup. Yay!!

Yay!!!! It was easy peasy! Fabulous team of practitioners. Now I know why my surgeon's nickname is the "breast whisperer." I went under anesthesia at 8AM and walked out the door of the surgical center at 2:00PM. No pain, slight discomfort. No drains, No problems. Tiny sore throat from tube. At 63 years old I have perky teenage boobs! Will post photos after the bandages are removed. I wonder if people will notice?? I haven't told anyone yet!!!! Surprise!!!

Woweee! No pain , no stitches either just steri strips. I think i might be smaller than i wanted, it's kind of shocking but i haven't seen them yet. Tomorrow bandages will be removed and I take a shower! My stomach is bigger than my boobs now, very motivated to take off weight!! And by the way, I already drove 40 miles this morning to pick up my pooch from the kennel. No family or friends to help me. I'm taking it easy and will post pics after my shower tomorrow. Surgeon said boobs can get soapy and wet but no water sprayed directly on.them. stand with back to spray and let water spill over shoulders and.down front. Thanks for your support and encouragement!!!

Maybe this is all part of the process. I am about half the size I wanted to be. Wanted a C+ and look like a B+ and that's with all of the swelling! MY ADVICE: Find some photos that you like and show them to your surgeon. I don't know who I am anymore. Feeling blue, tired, depressed, and achy. No more cleavage. No soft roundness. Hoping this will change over time.

I know each surgeon has a different perspective. I've read some of you are not getting your new boobs wet at all. My doc said starting 2 days post-op to wash with soap and water (no pounding shower tho! -- just keep water on your back and let it gently spill over your shoulders and down your front. ) The main thing is to keep them very dry AFTER your shower/bath. I've been using my blow dryer on lowest lightest setting to get the tapes dry before I get dressed. As you can see from the pics, this is only Day 5 post-op, and except for the swelling and bruising, my scars are looking exceptionally good! I am amazed that they are healing so quickly and nicely as I usually scar very badly. I don't even begin the silicone scar treatments for another month!

Well, today is one week since my surgery. My back is still hurting all the time but my front doesn't hurt. Lots of bruising and swelling. And I have water sloshing around in both of them since yesterday! All those gurgling sounds were coming from ME! My follow-up appointment is on Monday so I will update you then and post more photos. I hate sleeping in a bra but I know it will be worth it when I'm all healed. Thanks to all of you for your continued support. It's a rocky road.

Well here I am a month post-op. I still look the same as I did a few days post-op! Steri-strips still have not come off, despite long daily showers. I'm getting happier. Still very swollen. Had to be drained twice and a third (and hopefully final) time next Monday. Still have to sleep in bras though I can choose my position. Recovery is a long slow process. The "anchor" scars are pretty bad as they extend way out to almost my back. Sore and swollen but moving along.... Here are two pics from this morning.

Here I am, six weeks post-op. What a ride. Finally all of the steri strips are off and I began treating my scars. I'm using Mederma Advanced which I highly recommend. It only has to be applied once a day. I do it at bedtime. I know it's supposed to be a few weeks before results are noticeable but I swear I see a difference already! It's not greasy and is readily absorbed. I know Vitamin E is recommended too but I also heard a doctor that Vitamin E on fresh scars will actually widen the scar. That's why I opted for Mederma. I had to be drained a third time, right breast only, and will probably have to be drained a 4th time in that breast. I'm still very swollen, numb in places, tender.....and I still have to sleep in the surgical bra! Oh well. I am diligently following doctor's orders as I don't want any complications. I think it's because of the fluid. She still wants me to be supported and compressed 24/7 for the time being. I'll post again at 8 weeks post-op. Hope everyone is healing well! I am grateful for your comments and encouragement!

I am now 2 months post-op. Wow, it's slow going. The first week I was upset that I was too small. Now I think I'm too big! I hope it's just because I am still swollen. Treated the scars with Mederma Advanced for one month, just switched to Scar Away Serum. I like it better than the Mederma. I also sometimes use Mahanarayan Oil (it's an Ayurvedic herbal oil, healing and not greasy). Thinking about Bio Oil but it's expensive and I can only find large bottles. I only want a couple of ounces. My breasts are very full on the sides and my nipples seem to be pointing out instead of straight ahead. am I being too picky, did I expect perfection?? Probably. all in all I am happy to be rid of my old pendulous balloons. I'll check in again at the 3-month mark. I'm attaching 2 pics from this morning. Today makes 15 weeks since my surgery. Well, as you can see in the photos, I have softened and dropped a bit. The left breast looks huge from the angle looking up from beneath. I'm definitely still swollen. My incisions still ache a bit out at the far sides. Scars slowly coming along. Can't complain, when I see how I used to look. Hoping for swelling to fade over next month or two.
Will post again at 5 months.

Well here I am at 5 months. Finally starting to feel better! Compared to my "before" situation, I'm thrilled, but it's no picnic. Already I feel like I am too big and also drooping. I guess it's natural that as they soften they will drop a bit. Can't complain. I think I had a great surgeon. But I don't believe I received completely honest information. My scars are looking better and better! 2 pics attached.

Finally! I reached the six-month milestone. My boobs seem to be getting bigger every day. It is weird. They feel loose and floppy but I'm not complaining. The color of my areola is kind of strange, too. Pasty. Will they darken over time? I'm attaching two photos. My scars are looking good! I think I'll work harder at taking off some pounds. Can't hurt! Will post again at 9 months. Thanks to everyone for support and encouragement! It's been a tough road and I don't have family or friends near me. Maybe my emotional ups and downs are all part of the healing process. Time will tell......
