Hi! I would focus on treatments to balance your well shaped features. Specifically, I’d recommend tightening around your eyes, a little filler on your jawline and to slightly elongate your chin. I don’t see a lot of temple volume loss but a touch of filler there does tend to enhance one’s youthful appearance. For maintenance, in addition to your current treatment schedule and skincare, full face BBL is great. Occasional lifting plus collagen stimulation with PDO threads would be nice as well.

Hello!  Based on your photos, early jowl formation or volume loss / sag starting in the cheeks can be very nicely addressed with InstaLift.   This involves minimal risk, little downtime but a natural appearing lift of not only skin but also the underlying soft tissue to define the jawline, correct howling and revolution the cheeks.  It also promotes new collagen formation over the next several months as the absorbable suture and cones that provide the lift, gradually disappear without scarring.

I’d advise minimally invasive options like InstaLift since your concern areas are not severely problematic.  Filler in the cheeks is also an option but Instant would likely give better and longer results in my opinion.

Best wishes!

Hello!  I am wondering if the lump is soft?  It looks like there is some lymphatic congestion creating the fullness.  This is a risk with treatment of the year trough area, especially if the filler used pulls in more water.  If so you may be able to press on it firmly and almost mold it temporarily.  For more definitive treatment, it can be tricky but Non invasive Radio frequency massage with thermiSmooth May help relieve the congestion and tighten the skin.

There are a few nice options for lip enhancements with fillers and botox can help also.

For a subtle but lasting enhancement, softening/correction of radiating lines, Volbella is great and lasts about 1yr for usually under $600 for 1 syringe, for some patients two may be needed.

For a mild eversion and softening of radiating lines but only a few months duration, a little Botox works great for under $100.

For more volume and definition, Juvederm is nice and seems to last ~1-1.5 years, for around $660/vial, often only one is needed if you want a natural look.

I find thermiSmooth body to be very relaxing (YES, it is actually comfortable) for patients and it can give nice early improvements and then building, long lasting results for rejuvenation, tightening for face, eyes and neck in addition to fat/body contouring and getting an overall smoother appearance of skin.  There are diverse options and applications.  Generally, there is NO downtime.  This is a great option for patients not wanting to have to recover or endure a procedure.  Cost is of course variable by location and size of area treated but $2500-$4000 is a ballpark for a full series.

Hello!  Even if you are not able to use neurotoxins, there are several good treatment options for rejuvenating the eye area without resorting to surgical blepharoplasty/eye lid lifts.  Depending on the downtime and discomfort you want to work with, you can consider non invasive and no downtime options like thermiSmooth 250, minor downtime/discomfort with microneedling plus PRP topically and/or injected, or a bit more downtime and mild to moderate discomfort with laser options like profractional.  Generally, a short series may be needed to get more complete results and support with Elastiderm Eye treatment products with twice daily use is highly recommended.

As frustrating as it sounds, sometimes the best thing is to wait patiently for puffiness or undesired results to resolve after injections rather than trying yet another procedure.  If after a few months you are not finding improvement, a mild pro fractional laser treatment can nicely tighten skin to correct crepey laxity.  Good support products like TNS repair or Elastiderm Eye Treatment may help in the meantime and have low risk for tolerance problems.  A more costly product option would be Neotensil with its advantage being visible (but temporary) results in minutes.

You should relieve yourself of the stressful worrying by seeing your doctor or primary care provider to have any lumps checked.  There are several non cancerous possibilities for a lump in the neck and often diagnosis can be made with history and exam alone.  If not, an ultrasound (painless) and or other testing may be recommended.  If it is a lymph node, it could warrant further evaluation but does NOT mean there is cancer lurking somewhere.  Best wishes!

Dear Dawn,

There is no problem with getting additional Botox to your forehead after 1.5 months if you did not get movement reduced as much as you wanted. As far as correcting creases, that may take time and/or other modalities of treatment like filler, laser or longer treatment with a toxin. If the creases are deep or etched where you still see a line even with gently stretching the area with your fingers, those creases will generally NOT fully correct with a single dose of Botox even if high doses are used. Hope this helps!

Fillers are not usually the solution for sagging skin or the neck area in general.  A procedure to tighten, lift or remove excess skin or a combination of these is likely required.  Silhouette lift is a suture lift that is minimally invasive and can be combined with an excision (removal) of excess skin that can be done for the midface, jowls and neck that would be a good option.  You can go to silhouettelift.com and use the physician locator for your area.  There are other techniques so be sure to ask questions to find the treatment to suit your needs for results, cost, duration and downtime involved.  Best wishes!

Absolutely Love the Treatments and Products!!

Dr. Stacey Whitehead is the best! She really listens to your concerns and provides many options on what works the best for you. I told her how much my budget and won’t pressure for a more expensive treatment!! I have been a patient for at least 5 years and always had great results. Updated on 27 Feb 2022: I absolutely love Dr. Stacey Whitehead!! She is always very pleasant during my appointment discussing what I want to address my problem areas. I hesitated on purchasing the Morpheus8 package because it cost $4,400 for the 3 session package. I’m so glad I did because the results were AMAZING!!! I will be having Morpheus8 again to maintain my aging skin!!!!

Down to Earth and Great Results

Stacey is awesome, so glad I found her for botox and filler, though I know she has other aspects of her practice. She's down to earth and caring, no pressure or 'selling' like at many medical cosmetic salons. She takes her time with you to get the best result, and also has the option to come back for touch-ups (and did not even charge me). Highly recommended and certainly my go-to in the Omaha area!
