I have been seeing Dr. Maddali for Botox injections for about 7 years. Prior to seeing him, I saw another local provider for botox injections buy those injections only lasted 2-3 months at best. (That doctor told I metabolize botox quickly.) Disatisfied, I started seeing Dr. Maddali. He is fabulous! He is very caring; his energetic presence is calming and comforting. His injections last at least 6 months and I almost never have any bruising at the injection site. I highly recommend Dr. Maddali.
I had Botox and juvederm w Dr.Maddali on multiple occasions. I generally am treated every 4-6 months. I was charged for the same amount of Botox that I have always received - Dr Maddali indicated I was receiving the same amount--- yet-- something seemed definitely different. I was "poked" just as often as before ..but something felt "off". I didn't feel that usual little pop one feels while being injected. I was kinda confused but thought I'd wait and see the effect post treatment. I was underwhelmed. Not sure where the Botox went but I don't think it went into my face.
Hi! I need help. I am a 33 year old mother of 2. A 4 and 10 year old. Both boys. Happily married to my husband of 12 years. Been with him for 17 years. I have always been a thicker girl. I am a size 10 waist now. But have always been small chested. I have wanted BA for a long time. Ever since I can remember actually. Now I have my consultation coming up in 2 days. I am scared and it is only the consult. Am I being vein? Selfish? Shallow? Am I wasting money that could/should go to my kids? (not that they have a want or need for anything) I have so many emotions running through my body. I have never felt someone with breast implants. What if I hate the feeling. Worse, what if my husband hates them? I am kinda freaking out!!! Am I alone? Updated on 1 Dec 2016: Ok! So the consult is over and surgery is scheduled!!! Dr. Maddalli is simply amazing and put all my fears to rest. So...pre-op is on the 14th and surgery is on the 21st. I am going in the range of 315cc-355cc. Should bring me from a small b to a full c maybe small d. I can't wait to see what happens. However, I am a little nervous about everything. What if I don't wake up? Am I putting myself at risk for vanity? Will my boys understand that girls don't need boob jobs to be beautiful? Am I setting them up to view women correctly? As a mom of 2 boys, I am very concerned about being the perfect role model as I know who I am will directly relate to and mold who they become as grown men. Either way, I am excited and can't wait to see the results. I am 190lbs. 5'5" and have a muscular frame. I will post pics when I get a little more comfortable. Do I need to be buying anything before surgery that might help after??? Any suggestions are welcome! I run a company but am mostly in the office at my desk...is it completely unrealistic for me to expect to come back to work the day after surgery? (keep in mind I was back in the office 3 days after giving birth to my son) I am not around a lot of people so it doesn't matter what I look like. (meaning I don't have to dress up)
It would be extremely unusual to have a nipple to crease ratio of 0.5cm. That is way too small. A part of your procedure would require releasing the crease so that you can increase the length from nipple to crease. If you have a tubular breast, a part of the procedure is to release the tubular breast tissue with a procedure called "radial scoring." That is part of the augmentation and done at the same time. Good luck.
Liposuction is a great tool for breast reduction revisions. However, it really depends on what you need removed. Some surgeons will do liposuction as the first procedure for breast reduction, but not many. Most do liposuction as a part of the breast reduction procedure (for the sides), and some do it later as a revision. It is hard to give you a good answer without actual pictures. Good luck.
There is actually no formula that we use to determine this. It is based on the patient's size, height, frame, weight, and on the surgeon's experience. We can guess how much we will be removing, but that is truly a guess. We can never really tell until we are in the operating room. A very important part of this is a long discussion with the patient to determine their wishes. However, it would be unwise to remove more breast tissue just to satisfy an insurance company. For that reason, and that reason alone, many surgeons and patients do the procedure outside of insurance and pay for it just like any other "cosmetic" procedure. Good luck.
This is a difficult problem. As most of the responses have stated, you should definitely decrease the size of the implants at the next (hopefully last) operation. The left inframammary fold should be raised and any capsular contracture that you can feel should be fixed (especially on the right). Good luck.
Your photo shows a lot of swelling in the entire abdominal area, not just at the ends of the incision. It is very common to have a lot of swelling after a tummy tuck, but I would recommend making sure that there is not a build up of fluid (seroma) under the skin. To answer the question specifically about the "dog ears," it is hard to say, but the swelling there does not appear significant and seems within the norm for a tummy tuck. Good luck in your healing.
