Dr. Ingraham performed two Kybella treatments to my double chin area. I am so pleased with the results. My chin is more defined the double chin look has dramatically reduced. This is something that has bothered me since I was in college. I am so happy that I did this procedure. Dr. Ingraham is knowledgeable on the latest treatments and does a great job providing options for problem areas. Would highly recommend Dr. Ingraham to anyone wanting to have a cosmetic procedure done.
I have gained some weight since my hysterectomy and am having a hard time losing it. I have known Dr Ingraham for 10 years. She is an expert injector and has been injecting my Botox for years. I decided to have kybella done by only Dr Ingraham. It was the best thing I have done. I experienced little to no pain due to her expertise and gentle hand. She is so caring and really explains everything that is going to happen. I did experience the normal swelling, nothing a turtleneck or scrap can't cover. After about 5 days I stopped covering up my neck and people who have known me and see me every week were asking if I lost weight. I have not lost a single pound but everybody is telling me my face looks slimmer and it looks like I have lost weight. This is the best time to have kybella done and Dr Ingraham is the best. I absolutely love it. Best thing I have ever done!
I want to share this so others can benefit from voluma. Its great! Dr. Sherry Ingraham at Advanced Dermatology is very good and she is a walking example of the product Voluma. Also the staff all are helpful, some have had it and came in to show me the results. That was good because you want to talk to others who had it done. Its great! Now tell me I don't look over 60!
Ive always been extremely happy and at ease during and post procedure, with the outcome being perfectly smooth, glowing skin, that I'm always compliement on. I highly recommend her for these or any cosmetic procedure.
The brain reads feminine as being curved, soft and round, and the brain reads male when we see angles and sharpness, so we want to maintain those angles in our male patients. If it’s a first treatment, you want to start gradually, men don’t want a dramatic change. Men often will complain that they look tired, and a lot of this tiredness is due to mid-cheek volume loss. Men lose subcutaneous adipose tissue as they age, but you also see this in men who are very fit and have a really low body fat content—giving you that drawn, sunken look. Filling this can be extremely refreshing. To avoid feminizing the face, you want to fill that loss rather than raise the cheek bone as you do in women. In men, volume replacement and volume correction and more important than lift. This requires deep placement of the filler. I don’t inject too much around the eyes because I find with men, you want to have some of those nice smile lines. If you make all of those go away, it tends to feminize the face. I use a smaller amount of toxin around the eyes and a larger amount in the glabella, because men tend to have a stronger glabella complex.
Absolutely. Volumizing fillers such as Restylane Lyft, Voluma or Radiesse can be used to create more definition along the jawline and increase chin projection. This filler gives the area a nice angular, firm look desired by male patients. You can also layer the filler along the mandible border. Giving the mandibular border more prominence will help maintain that angular look and better define that transition between the jawline and the neck, which is a very important thing to enhance as we age.
Botox or Dysport injected into the mentalis muscle from an experienced injector could help reduce the appearance of unwanted creases on the chin.
Injecting filler into your cheeks will not increase the or stretch pore size. Pore size is genetically determined and cannot be altered. However, there are a few options for making pores appear smaller such as SkinPen, MDRejuvena Pore Perfecting Complex, prescription-strength retinol, or non ablative laser treatments. Speak with your provider about addressing facial volume as well as pore size to determine which treatment combinations are right for you.
While both treatments are effective non-surgical options for lifting and tightening skin, they utilize different forms of energy. Ultherapy uses safe, ultrasound energy and is indicated for the treatment of sagging skin on the brow, neck, décolletage, and under-chin. Thermage uses radiofrequency to address the look and feel of aging skin of the eyes, neck, jawline and body. Speak with your physician to understand which treatment option is best for you.
