I noticed Dr. Ayuzo’s work on IG since I was interested in getting some facial work done. Kathy, the patient coordinator, was very easy to get into contact with, so my consultation was scheduled for October. During the consultation, I informed the doctor that I was displeased with my “lower eyelids” and how my neck area needed contouring. I was looking for a long term solution, so he suggested inferior blepharoplasty accompanied with FaceTite. His demeanor was very professional and he also spoke English very well, so I did not hesitate to schedule the surgery with him and his staff. The outcome of the surgery has been very positive so far. I’ve quickly noticed the results from the inferior blepharoplasty, but it is still too early to see results from FaceTite since the area is still a bit swollen. I would full heartedly book any future facial work with Dr. Ayuzo and his team! Thanks y’all! Updated on 18 Feb 2021: I’ve included a before pic (from October 25th which was the week I had my consultation). The lower “eyelids” are gone. The swelling and redness in my eye are gone (as seen in previous post op photo).
My experience with Dr.Ayuzo was amazing to say the least! My consultation was via zoom due to living in the US. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical prior to my consultation but once I chatted him with my perspective changed. He was very knowledgeable and answered every single question with great confidence. He speaks both English/Spanish which worked on my end given the fact that I traveled from the US. The day of my procedure I was very nervous but his entire team made me feel very comfortable and knew I could trust them. I can proudly say I’m grateful to have picked Dr. Ayuzo as my plastic surgeon to restore my confidence. He’s amazing and would definitely recommend him to anyone!!
I met with 2 more docs today and I’ve settled on Dr Ayuzo from Guadalajara. He comes to cabo each month and it just so happens he is here now and is returning Sunday! With the plans I already have for the summer, I will have exactly 6 weeks to heal from the surgery date! I’m extremely nervous and anxious. I keep thinking the worse! I’d hate for something to happen and the story my kids have to tell is this one. So let’s see what happens. In the mean time I’m 5’4. 138 pounds African American. According to VS I’m at 34D. In real life without padding... not so much Updated on 19 Jun 2018: Today I had my labs! I’m trying to prepare for life after surgery but am still in shock that I’m doing this... a part of me wants to say screw it. But i see all of the nice boobs and I want them too. I used to have them. Then I had 2 kids and breastfed. Anywho... I got the post opp and pre opp instructions today. And I my doula has agreed to come with me afterwards and before to help ease my nerves. I’m def on edge! Trying to think positive but in the back and middle of my mind I’m thinking the worse.... So does recap.... I’m 32 years old. African American living in MEXICO. I’m 5,4. And 137-140 pounds. Depends on the day! I’ll be getting 300cc gummybear teardrop boobies. Sub-glandular implants with breast lift. I’m going to stay in the hospital overnight as the first 24 hours will be tough considering... Can anyone provide me with insight on what to order online for the healing process? What type of scar treatment is best? Updated on 22 Jun 2018: Eek! My doc said no alcohol after Friday (today)! So I’m going to enjoy myself! Taking these saggy girls on a boat around the arch for one final run! My emotions are like a roller coaster! One moment I’m excited. The next I’m thinking wth is wrong with me! I’m def preparing for next week. I had my last maternity session client last night! I should probably find out when I’ll be able to lift my camera again... I purchased a chair pillow thingy for sleeping and some “itworks” defining gel and scar away silicone sheets from amazon. My doc says I won’t need anything for a while and I’m not allowed to massage or touch the new boobs for a few weeks! He actually recommends some laser treatment instead of massage but I don’t think we have that here in Cabo. I tried on a swimsuit without padding and took a photo... I cannot wait to see the comparison pic in a few weeks! Here are some wish pics! And the photos with 4 is my docs work.... Updated on 22 Jun 2018: Here’s my poor boobs headed to the beach... I really cannot wait to put this one and compare Updated on 23 Jun 2018: Just found out about the no sex rule for 6 weeks!!! Wow! Thoughts... is this firm? Goodness it’s like having a baby again. Updated on 24 Jun 2018: Eek tomorrow is the day! I’ve packed my bag as I’m staying overnight in the hospital. Not really sure what to bring... I made a huge crockpot of bone broth and brought some seasonings down. And I braided my hair. The emotions are still coming in waves. I guess I’ll take a lot of pics with these boobs in case I miss them! You would think I’m having major surgery as many want to visit me in the hospital. But I’d rather them come there than to my house. Goodness this is happening... need words of strength and encouragement... I’m freaking out. Updated on 25 Jun 2018: [RS bleep] I’m scared. Prayers please Updated on 25 Jun 2018: All went well according to who’s standard idk. Lol. I woke up with drains and he ended up needing to a tiny tiny anchor under the lollipop lift. Pain isn’t too bad but it helps that I’m in the hospital tonight. I’ve been puking all day! They say it’s from the general anestesia. I can’t even keep down ice. They just administered more nausea meds and I’m supposed to eat tea and jello. If I keep it down I get to have soup! Yay... I’m not allowed to get up to pee so I get a sexy green bed pan... my doula just left and hubby is planning on leaving once I fall asleep. For some ready my right boob hurts more than the left. Dr Ayuzo said i had quite a bit of milk left inside. Strange since I haven’t breastfed since 1.5 years ago. So I must take antibiotics for 10 days... I really don’t see how folks go home after this... I’d be miserable!!! Oh and I have some itching. Haha Updated on 26 Jun 2018: Dr Ayuzo removes the drains today... I wasn’t expecting to feel that! So far so good. No pain. I’m starting to itch under my bra area on my chest. I’m finally home and my boobs look Great. Now if only I could find a comfortable way to lay down. He said I can prop with pillows and lay a little to the side. Updated on 28 Jun 2018: Today is day 3 of healing and I feel amazing! I still can’t believe I’m not in pain! Well at least my boobs aren’t hurting. My back hurts I suppose from laying down. Tomorrow is my next post op appt. I attempted to shower yesterday. And used a blow dryer on low to dry the strips. I had a few visitors yesterday and they were surprised I was able to come down stairs and open doors. Etc. Now it’s just the waiting game. Take the meds and let them heal. Updated on 1 Jul 2018: On Friday I had my 2nd post op appointment. Dr Ayuzo. He says everything is looking good and I can stop taking the Tylenol or strictly take as needed. I am to remain on antibiotics until day 10. My chest is still swollen and there's still no real pain, only slight discomfort... I've been using a mixture of coconut oil, essential oils, and moisturizer on my new twins. Just avoiding the incision areas. The strips are supposed to naturally fall off which I'm not looking forward too. Once they start I will only use the silicone strips on the breast incisions. Today (Sunday) I'm having to care for both of my kids. Its voting day in Mexico and the nanny is away. so far so good. just a little more discomfort than usual on my right breast. I took the Tylenol. We shall see if it goes away. Both boobs are still pretty numb... reminds me of my csection! Updated on 2 Jul 2018: Now I’m entering week 2 of the healing process. My boobs are sore. This is the most pain I’ve felt. One of my strips came off. And one of the twins is bigger than the other. As the swelling goes down on one I’m thinking I should have gotten bigger boobs. I guess only time will tell. Updated on 9 Jul 2018: Today I enter week 3 of recovery. I still don’t have any pain and the burning has subsided. Today I started scare therapy... the doc gave me a silicone sheet to not be used on the areola. My left boob is HUGE and seems to have dropped a tad. The right is floating in the air. I’m driving and having zero issues. I’m probably doing a lot more than I should. I also started ultrasound therapy 2 days ago. It’s the longest 40 mins of my life! Thankfully I have a good audio book. Most of the skin that was coming off last week is off now. Just a little patch left that I can probably exfoliate off. I’m def counting the days! I’m hoping to get my bottom half wet in the pool this week! Updated on 17 Jul 2018: So I’ve been doing the ultrasound wave treatment thing for 8 days now. I’m starting to get feeling back in the breast and I get sharp pains in my nipple. My left breast seems to have dropped and also the incision has opened a tad on the bottom. The doc has me using kitocel gel on the incisions in combination with silicone strips. It seems to be healing okay. The bruising on my incision is still prominent. My areolas look amazing minus the little piece that came off with a scab. I’m hoping that it will grow back. Probably not but a girl can dream lol. Now when I sleep on my side the implants feel like they want to fall out from the top. Super uncomfortable. Other than that all is well and I’m super happy with the results. Now if I can get back into my healthy Keto living I can drop this belly weight. Lol Updated on 24 Jul 2018: Well I’m officially 4 weeks 1 day completed. There’s a new opening on my left breast. Dr Ayuzo said it’s more milk reacting with the implant. I’m to put neosporian on it and stop the silicone strips. There’s a liquid coming out. Looks like pus but he says it’s milk. Other than the that I think my boobs are getting smaller. I wanted them to be large. Lol. We shall see the in 2 more months!
I had a chin implant on March 28th and had the stitches removed today. Although I will not know the final result for another month or so, I can tell already that I am going to love it. The Dr and his staff are all very professional. Appointment times are honored and they are all very friendly as well. The Dr. takes as much time as you want both before and after the procedure to answer questions. Everyone involved made me feel comfortable and confident. I highly recommend Dr. Ayuzo.
This is the best thing I have ever done.... I get tears in my eyes every day looking at myself. It has changed my confidence SO MUCH and I am only 2 weeks post op. I had a lift with tissue reduction and implants. I had implant placed over the muscle and barely any pain at all. I am so happy and can't wait to go bra shopping and actually fit a bra!
I am so happy to have found Dr. Ayuzo. Being an expat in Mexico I was skeptical about having a procedure done outside of my home country but Dr.Ayuzo went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable, he is very professional and his team is extremely responsive and efficient in answering my post opteration questions. His English is perfect, I highly recommend him.
I'm a 33 year old mother of two, and finally I decided to get a tummy tuck. I couldn't have gone to a better doctor!!. I had many questions and he took his time answering and made sure I understood the procedure. It's been 3 month since I had the surgery and the results look amazing.
Im so glad I chose Dr. Ayuzo as my surgeon. I had a breast augmentation and I love my results, he's an excellent doctor and very caring. Love his team too, very professional, well organized and extremely patient.

The drooping of the nipple can be solved with round and teardrop implants. The technique to lift the nipple has nothing to do with the form of the implant. Regarding about the look of the breast , in the last ASAPS meeting a survey was perform in the audience (plastic surgeons) trying to distinguish a round implant vs teardrop implant and we missed in the 62% of the cases. So the right implant for you in based on the experience of the surgeon performing your breast augmentation and the base and profile of the implant that fits your chest wall. If you are thinking that a round implant is a good a idea i will suggest to have a second opinion. Good luck !!
