I’m officially one week away from finally having BOOBIES! I’m 5’7, 140lbs rocking an unfilled A cup after 2 kiddos.
My goal is to achieve a full, natural look. I have always been flat chested, I say I have “pecs” instead of boobs and can’t wait to finally feel feminine in my body!
We are going with Sientra Moderate Plus implants between 285-320ccs, depending on Dr. K’s decision once he gets rolling.
I’m honestly nervous I’m going too big with the Mod +, but having wide shoulders/ribcage, Dr. K was very confident in this choice. Praying I don’t look ridiculous!
T-7 days!

I had surgery at 7 this morning and was home by 10! I’m athletic, 5’7 and about 140lbs and started with a 36 A or 32 B. We landed on 325 cc Sientra Moderate Plus implants!
Some post-op notes: I was for sure nauseous when I woke up but that subsided when I got home, ate some toast and took a good nap!
Other than the nausea, my breasts are super sore but manageable. I underestimated how hard it would be to move around this first day so I’m incredibly grateful my husband is able to help me move around, adjust pillows and bring me all the things!
I can’t wait to take the bra off and look at my new boobs!

I unclipped the surgery bra to take a look! As expected, they’re high and TIGHT but I think they’re going to be perfect when they settle!
I did take pain meds last night (which I feel like doesn’t really help) aaand I can’t wait to shower Friday!

Made it through the first sleepless night! I’m a belly sleeper to my core so sleeping upright was a challenge. Feeling a lot better today but still pretty uncomfortable! I’ve found our couch to be more comfortable than propping up in bed. Easier to get up and down when needed and the back of the couch helps hold up extra pillows.
As expected, everything I sitting high and TIGHT still, but they already look different from yesterday! This will be so fun to watch as they settle in.

I can’t even put in to words how obsessed I am with my new boobs! They’re still pretty sore and I’m being *the best* patient but LOOK AT THEMMM! If I’m this obsessed already, I can’t even fathom when they’re actually settled and soft.
Sleep is still uncomfortable but that won’t change until I can at least sleep on my side.
I mostly just have muscle pain on the sides and my nipples are still a little asleep. Ice packs feel amazing under my arms aaand I think that’s about it! I’ll post again after my 1 week post op appointment!

Three weeks post op and first of all, still obsessed. Here are some of the “weird to me” things I’ve experienced and my surgeon’s response:
- “Lumpy” or scalloped feeling bumps under my left incision. Not ON the incision. This was normal, the interior or deeper stitches that will dissolve by three months.
- I have been astounded by the nipple pain/sensitivity. Totally normal but jeez. They do not like being forever squished in a bra!
- a tight ligament/vein pulling on one side. I’ve provided a photo for reference. If I reach up or lean back, this is pulling super tight. I called my surgeon who said it’s not NOT normal, but a ligament or vein being pulled somehow by the inner stitches. It should resolve itself by three months.
- They start to look smaller when looking down at them! As they drop in to place, they sort of get squished back up by the tighter muscles and skin, causing them to look smaller. Between 3-6 weeks they drop in to place and fluff out more to their full size. Trust the process!
Overall, I’ve had super smooth healing. I’m back to light workouts and peloton rides and don’t experience any real pain or discomfort. I’m completely obsessed with the results. I’ll gush about that in my next update.

I’m just over 6 weeks post op and I think my main update is that I can’t believe how natural they FEEL. I never expected fake boobs to feel so soft and real and I’m so thrilled.
My left nipple is still really sensitive but overall they feel pretty normal. Nothing crazy to report!

5 months post op! It’s been pretty smooth sailing these few months. The hardest part has been continuing to modify workouts to avoid specific chest exercises but we’re making do!
I still have some numbness and sensitivity in my left breast but everything else feels totally normal and natural! Scars are fading nicely and it’s been a lovely swimsuit season!
