We always consult our patients from the outset with what is needed to reach the tipping point. The tipping point is the point at which the patient can physically see the transfromation. Coolsculpting can be thought of as peeling an onion, in that each cycle reduces a percentage of far cells in the treated area. This can be enhanced by adding soundwave after the treatment (Zimmer Zwave or similar) and can also see more dramatic results by combining modalities. It really is all a question of having a really high quality initial consultation with an experienced practice that can say "You need 3 cycles" or "you need 2 cycles and this..." I have found that when patients expectations are not set realistically then this will almost certainly lead to disapointment. The results can be transformative BUT you must find a reputable clinic, with high levels of experience. Ask to see their before and afters, not generic ones plucked off the internet, and ask them what training they, do, how may treatments they have performed. In the end it may be that the budget for your needs far exceeds lip, but then there is the balance if risk i.e. anesthesia. A reputable pratcie will walk you through all of this before asking you for a dime.
