Well, it's only been 24-hours, but so far...so good. I had the re:pair for light acne scarring on my cheek, fine lines, and pore size. I'm 36 years old and a fair blonde. I posted a camera phone photo just so you can see the red. The flash is kinda blocking some of it, but it looks like a very bad sun burn!
I was way nervous before the procedure, but it wasn't too bad. They gave me 2 ativans and rubbed a numbing cream into my face. The actual procedure was less then 1/2 hour, and yes it hurts, especially around the hair line where the numbing cream is less. It was like a tattoo kind of pain, but totally doable for 30 mins.
My face is red, read, red and still a little swollen. However, my scarring looks great! So, I'll post more pictures once I heal some more!

Today is day 3 and it looks like it's healing okay. Still red, slight peeling. I do feel like my doctor didn't fully prepare me for the "after." Slight sunburn? Uh, no! You look like a burn patient! Also, my skin feels like sandpaper and it's itchy. I keep layering on the Aquaphor, which helps.
Still kinda undecided if this was worth it. It was a very painful procedure, and my skin issues were slight. I think this is probably a great procedure for those with severe acne scarring. I DO see a difference in the area on my cheek and fine lines.
I'm going to remain undecided until I fully heal.

Absolutely not worth it. It was very painful, and there is not one bit of difference. Nada, nothing...zilch. Not even a wee bit of improvement. I'm not sure if it was my doctor or the procedure, but I'm astounded that I spent 1800...for a facial!

I thought I'd update again. There was literally no difference. None. Not one single softening of line, pore or scar. I wish I would have tried VI peels before spending this kind of money. I've seen these great photos, but maybe it was my skin or the doctor..but I was very disappointed.
